Neemias 12
1 Estes são sacerdotes e levitas que subiram com Zorobabel, filho de Sealthiel, e com Jesué: Seraias, Jeremias, Esdras,
And these are the priests and the Levites that went up with Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,
2 Amarias, Malluch, Hattus,
Amariah, Malluch, Hattush,
3 Sechanias, Rehun, Meremoth,
Shechaniah, Rehum, Meremoth,
4 Iddo, Ginnethoi, Abias,
Iddo, Ginnethoi, Abijah,
5 Miamin, Maadias, Bilga,
Mijamin, Maadiah, Bilgah,
6 Semaias, e Joiarib, Jedaias,
Shemaiah, and Joiarib, Jedaiah,
7 Sallu, Amok, Hilkias, Jedaias: estes foram os chefes dos sacerdotes e de seus irmãos, nos dias de Jesué.
Sallu, Amok, Hilkijah, Jedaiah. These were the chief of the priests and of their brethren in the days of Jeshua.
8 E foram os levitas: Jesué, Binnui, Kadmiel, Serebias, Judá, Matthanias: este e seus irmãos presidiam sobre os louvores.
And the Levites: Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, Mattaniah, [who was] over the thanksgiving, he and his brethren;
9 E Bakbukias e Uni, seus irmãos, defronte dele, nas guardas.
and Bakbukiah and Unni, their brethren, were over against them as watches.
10 E Jesué gerou a Joaquim, e Joaquim gerou a Eliasib, e Eliasib gerou a Joiada,
And Jeshua begot Joiakim, and Joiakim begot Eliashib, and Eliashib begot Joiada,
11 E Joiada gerou a Jonathan, e Jonathan gerou a Jaddua.
and Joiada begot Jonathan, and Jonathan begot Jaddua.
12 E nos dias de Joaquim foram sacerdotes, cabeças dos pais: de Seraias, Meraias; de Jeremias, Hananias;
And in the days of Joiakim were priests, chief fathers: of Seraiah, Meraiah; of Jeremiah, Hananiah;
13 De Esdras, Messullam; de Amarias, Johanan;
of Ezra, Meshullam; of Amariah, Jehohanan;
14 De Melichu, Jonathan; de Sebanias, José;
of Melicu, Jonathan; of Shebaniah, Joseph;
15 De Harim, Adna; de Meraioth, Helkai;
of Harim, Adna; of Meraioth, Helkai;
16 De Iddo, Zacarias; de Ginnethon, Messullam;
of Iddo, Zechariah; of Ginnethon, Meshullam;
17 D'Abias, Zichri; de Miamin e de Moadias, Piltai;
of Abijah, Zichri; of Miniamin [and] Moadiah, Piltai;
18 De Bilga, Sammua; de Semaias, Jonathan;
of Bilgah, Shammua; of Shemaiah, Jehonathan;
19 E de Joiarib, Matthenai; de Jedaias, Ezzi;
and of Joiarib, Mattenai; of Jedaiah, Uzzi;
20 De Sallai, Kallai; de Amok, Eber;
of Sallai, Kallai; of Amok, Eber;
21 D'Hilkias, Hasabias; de Jedaias, Nethanael.
of Hilkijah, Hashabiah; of Jedaiah, Nethaneel.
22 Dos levitas foram nos dias de Eliasib escritos como cabeças de pais, Joiada, e Johnan, e Jaddua; como também os sacerdotes, até ao reinado de Dario o persa.
of the Levites, the chief fathers were recorded in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, and the priests, until the reign of Darius the Persian.
23 Os filhos de Levi escritos como cabeças de pais no livro das crônicas, até aos dias de Johanan, filho de Eliasib.
The children of Levi, the chief fathers, were recorded in the book of the chronicles, even until the days of Johanan the son of Eliashib.
24 Foram pois os cabeças dos levitas; Hasabias, Serabias, e Jesué, filho de Kadmiel, e seus irmãos defronte deles, para louvarem e darem graças, segundo o mandado de David, homem de Deus: guarda contra guarda.
And the chief Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua the son of Kadmiel, with their brethren over against them, to praise [and] to give thanks, according to the commandment of David the man of God, ward over against ward.
25 Matthanias, e Bakbukias, Obadias, Mesullam, Talmon, e Akkub, eram porteiros, que faziam a guarda às tesourarias das portas.
Mattaniah and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, were doorkeepers keeping the ward at the storehouses of the gates.
26 Estes foram nos dias de Joaquim, filho de Jesué, o filho de Josadak; como também nos dias de Nehemias, o governador, e do sacerdote Esdras, o escriba.
These were in the days of Joiakim the son of Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor, and of Ezra the priest, the scribe.
27 E na dedicação dos muros de Jerusalém buscaram os levitas de todos os seus lugares, para os trazerem, afim de fazerem a dedicação com alegrias, e com louvores, e com canto, saltérios, alaúdes, e com harpas.
And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to hold the dedication with gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing, [with] cymbals, lutes and harps.
28 E assim ajuntaram os filhos dos cantores, tanto da campina dos arredores de Jerusalém, como das aldeias de Netophati;
And the children of the singers were assembled, both from the plain [of Jordan] round about Jerusalem, and from the villages of the Netophathites,
29 Como também da casa de Gilgal, e dos campos de Gibeah, e Azmaveth: porque os cantores se edificaram aldeias nos arredores de Jerusalém.
also from Beth-Gilgal, and out of the fields of Geba and Azmaveth; for the singers had built themselves hamlets round about Jerusalem.
30 E purificaram-se os sacerdotes e os levitas; e logo purificaram o povo, e as portas, e o muro.
And the priests and the Levites purified themselves; and they purified the people, and the gates and the wall.
31 Então fiz subir os príncipes de Judá sobre o muro, e ordenei dois grandes coros e procissões, um à mão direita sobre o muro da banda da porta do monturo.
And I brought up the princes of Judah upon the wall, and appointed two great choirs and processions, on the right hand upon the wall towards the dung-gate.
32 E após eles ia Hosaias, e a metade dos príncipes de Judá,
And after them went Hoshaiah, and half of the princes of Judah,
33 E Azarias, Esdras, e Mesullam,
and Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam,
34 Judá, e Benjamin, e Semaias, e Jeremias.
Judah and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah,
35 E dos filhos dos sacerdotes, com trombetas: Zacarias, filho de Jonathan, o filho de Semaias, filho de Matthanias, filho de Michaias, filho de Zacchur, filho d'Asaph,
and [certain] of the priests' sons with trumpets: Zechariah the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph;
36 E seus irmãos, Semaias, e Azareel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanael, e Judá, e Hanani, com os instrumentos músicos de David, homem de Deus; e Esdras o escriba ia adiante deles.
and his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azareel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, and Judah, Hanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God; and Ezra the scribe before them.
37 Indo assim para a porta da fonte, e defronte deles, subiram as escadas da cidade de David pela subida do muro, desde cima da casa de David, até à porta das águas, da banda do oriente.
And at the fountain-gate, and over against them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the ascent of the wall, above the house of David, even to the water-gate eastward.
38 E o coro segundo ia defronte, e eu após ele; e a metade do povo ia sobre o muro, desde a torre dos fornos, até à muralha larga;
And the second choir went in the opposite direction upon the wall, and I after them, and the half of the people, from beyond the tower of the furnaces even to the broad wall;
39 E desde a porta de Ephraim, e para a porta velha, e para a porta do peixe, e a torre de Hananeel, e a torre de Mea, até à porta do gado; e pararam à porta da prisão.
and from above the gate of Ephraim, and above the gate of the old [wall], and above the fish-gate, and the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of Meah, even to the sheep-gate; and they stood still in the prison-gate.
40 Então ambos os coros pararam na casa de Deus; como também eu, e a metade dos magistrados comigo.
And both choirs stood in the house of God, and I, and the half of the rulers with me;
41 E os sacerdotes Eliakim, Maaseias, Miniamin, Michaias, Elioenai, Zacarias, e Hananias, com trombetas,
and the priests, Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, Hananiah, with trumpets;
42 Como também, Maaseias, e Semaias, e Eleazar, e Uzzi, e Johanan, e Malchias, e Elam, e Ezer; e faziam-se ouvir os cantores, juntamente com Jezrahias, o superintendente.
and Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Uzzi, and Jehohanan, and Malchijah, and Elam, and Ezer. And the singers sang loud; and Jizrahiah was their overseer.
43 E sacrificaram no mesmo dia grandes sacrifícios, e se alegraram; porque Deus os alegrara com grande alegria; e até as mulheres e os meninos se alegraram, que a alegria de Jerusalém se ouviu até de longe.
And that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced: for God had made them rejoice with great joy; and also the women and the children rejoiced. And the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.
44 Também no mesmo dia se nomearam homens sobre as câmaras, para os tesouros, para as ofertas alçadas, para as primícias, e para os dízimos, para ajuntarem nelas, das terras das cidades, as partes da lei para os sacerdotes e para os levitas; porque Judá estava alegre por causa dos sacerdotes e dos levitas que assistiam ali.
And at that time men were appointed over the chambers of the treasures for the heave-offerings, for the first-fruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them, out of the fields of the cities, the portions assigned by the law for the priests and the Levites; for Judah rejoiced over the priests, and over the Levites that waited.
45 E faziam a guarda do seu Deus, e a guarda da purificação; como também os cantores e porteiros, conforme ao mandado de David e de seu filho Salomão.
And, with the singers and the doorkeepers, they kept the ward of their God, and the ward of the purification, according to the commandment of David [and] of Solomon his son.
46 Porque já nos dias de David e Asaph, desde a antiguidade, havia cabeças dos cantores, e dos cânticos de louvores, e de ação de graças a Deus
For of old, in the days of David and Asaph, there were the chiefs of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgivings to God.
47 Pelo que todo o Israel, já nos dias de Zorobabel, nos dias de Nehemias, dava as partes dos cantores e dos porteiros a cada um no seu dia; e santificavam as porções aos levitas, e os levitas santificavam aos filhos de Aarão.
And all Israel, in the days of Zerubbabel and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the doorkeepers, every day what was needed, and they consecrated things for the Levites; and the Levites consecrated for the children of Aaron.
