Neemias 11
1 E os príncipes do povo habitaram em Jerusalém, porém o resto do povo lançou sortes, para tirar um de dez, que habitasse na santa cidade de Jerusalém, e as nove partes nas outras cidades.
Now the leaders of the people settled in Jerusalem, and the rest of the people cast lots to bring one out of ten to live in the holy city of Jerusalem, while the remaining nine were to dwell in their own towns.
2 E o povo bendisse a todos os homens que voluntariamente se ofereciam para habitarem em Jerusalém.
And the people blessed all the men who volunteered to live in Jerusalem.
3 E estes são os chefes da província, que habitaram em Jerusalém (porém nas cidades de Judá habitou cada um na sua possessão, nas suas cidades, Israel, os sacerdotes, e os levitas, e os nethineos, e os filhos dos servos de Salomão):
These are the heads of the provinces who settled in Jerusalem. (In the villages of Judah, however, each lived on his own property in their towns—the Israelites, priests, Levites, temple servants, and descendants of Solomon’s servants—
4 Habitaram pois em Jerusalém alguns dos filhos de Judá e dos filhos de Benjamin: dos filhos de Judá, Athaias, filho d'Uzias, filho de Zacarias, filho de Amarias, filho de Sephatias, filho de Mahalaleel, dos filhos de Peres;
while some of the descendants of Judah and Benjamin settled in Jerusalem.) From the descendants of Judah: Athaiah son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalalel, a descendant of Perez;
5 E Maaseias, filho de Baruch, filho de Col-hose, filho de Hazaias, filho d'Adaias, filho de Joiarib, filho de Zacarias, filho de Siloni.
and Maaseiah son of Baruch, the son of Col-hozeh, the son of Hazaiah, the son of Adaiah, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zechariah, a descendant of Shelah.
6 Todos os filhos de Peres, que habitaram em Jerusalém, foram quatrocentos e sessenta e oito homens valentes.
The descendants of Perez who settled in Jerusalem totaled 468 men of valor.

and their associates who did the work at the temple—822 men; Adaiah son of Jeroham, the son of Pelaliah, the son of Amzi, the son of Zechariah, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah;
13 E seus irmãos, cabeças dos pais, duzentos e quarenta e dois; e Amasai, filho de Azareel, filho de Ahazai, filho de Mesillemoth, filho de Immer.
and his associates, the leaders of families—242 men; Amashai son of Azarel, the son of Ahzai, the son of Meshillemoth, the son of Immer;
14 E os irmãos deles, varões valentes, cento e vinte e oito, e superintendente sobre eles Zabdiel, filho de Gedolim.
and his associates —128 mighty men of valor. Zabdiel son of Haggedolim was their overseer.
15 E dos levitas: Semaias, filho de Hassub, filho de Azrikam, filho de Hasabias, filho de Buni;
From the Levites: Shemaiah son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni;
16 E Sabbethai, e Jozabad, dos cabeças dos levitas, presidiam sobre a obra de fora da casa de Deus;
Shabbethai and Jozabad, two leaders of the Levites, who supervised the work outside the house of God;

18 Todos os levitas na santa cidade, foram duzentos e oitenta e quatro.
The Levites in the holy city totaled 284.
19 E os porteiros, Akkub, Talmon, com seus irmãos, os guardas das portas, cento e setenta e dois.
And the gatekeepers: Akkub, Talmon, and their associates, who kept watch at the gates—172 men.
20 E o resto de Israel, dos sacerdotes e levitas, esteve em todas as cidades de Judá, cada um na sua herdade.
The rest of the Israelites, with the priests and Levites, were in all the villages of Judah, each on his own inheritance.
21 E os nethineos habitaram em Ophel; e Ziha e Gispa presidiam sobre os nethineos.
The temple servants lived on the hill of Ophel, with Ziha and Gishpa over them.
22 E o superintendente dos levitas em Jerusalém foi Uzzi, filho de Bani, filho de Hasabias, filho de Matthanias, filho de Micha: dos filhos d'Asaph os cantores, no serviço da casa de Deus.
Now the overseer of the Levites in Jerusalem was Uzzi son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Mica. He was one of Asaph’s descendants, who were the singers in charge of the service of the house of God.
23 Porque havia um mandado do rei acerca deles: a saber, uma certa porção para os cantores, cada qual no seu dia.
For there was a command from the king concerning the singers, an ordinance regulating their daily activities.

Pethahiah son of Meshezabel, a descendant of Zerah son of Judah, was the king’s agent in every matter concerning the people.

As for the villages with their fields, some of the people of Judah lived in Kiriath-arba, Dibon, Jekabzeel, and their villages;
26 E em Jesua, e em Molada, e em Beth-pelet,
in Jeshua, Moladah, and Beth-pelet;
27 E em Hasar-sual, e em Berseba, e nos lugares da sua jurisdição,
in Hazar-shual; in Beersheba and its villages;
28 E em Siclag, e em Mechona, e nos lugares da sua jurisdição,
in Ziklag; in Meconah and its villages;
29 E em En-rimmon, e em Zora, e em Jarmuth;
in En-rimmon, Zorah, Jarmuth,
30 Em Zanoah, Adullam, e nas suas aldeias; em Lachis, e nas suas terras; em Azaka, e nos lugares da sua jurisdição: acamparam-se desde Berseba até ao vale de Hinnom.
Zanoah, Adullam, and their villages; in Lachish and its fields; and in Azekah and its villages. So they settled from Beersheba all the way to the Valley of Hinnom.
31 E os filhos de Benjamin, de Geba, habitaram em Michmas, e Aia, e bethel, e nos lugares da sua jurisdição,
The descendants of Benjamin from Geba lived in Michmash, Aija, and Bethel with its villages;
32 E em Anathoth, em Nob, em Anania,
in Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,
33 Em Hasor, em Rama, em Gitthaim,
Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,
34 Em Hadid, em Zeboim, em Neballat,
Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,
35 Em Lod, e em Ono, no vale dos artífices.
