Mateus 24
1 E, quando Jesus ia saindo do templo, aproximaram-se dele os seus discípulos para lhe mostrarem a estrutura do templo.
And having gone forth, Jesus departed from the temple, and His disciples came near to show Him the buildings of the temple,
2 Jesus, porém, lhes disse: Não vedes tudo isto? Em verdade vos digo que não ficará aqui pedra sobre pedra que não seja derribada.
and Jesus said to them, “Do you not see all these? Truly I say to you, there may not be left here a stone on a stone that will not be thrown down.”
3 E, estando assentado no monte das Oliveiras, chegaram-se a ele os seus discípulos em particular, dizendo: Dize-nos quando serão essas coisas, e que sinal haverá da tua vinda e do fim do mundo? (aiōn g165)
And when He is sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came near to Him by Himself, saying, “Tell us, when will these be? And what [is] the sign of Your coming, and of the full end of the age?” (aiōn g165)
4 E Jesus, respondendo, disse-lhes: acautelai-vos, que ninguém vos engane;
And Jesus answering said to them, “Take heed that no one may lead you astray,
5 Porque muitos virão em meu nome, dizendo: Eu sou o Cristo; e seduzirão muitos.
for many will come in My Name, saying, I am the Christ, and they will lead many astray,
6 E ouvireis de guerras e de rumores de guerras; olhai não vos assusteis, porque é míster que isso tudo aconteça, mas ainda não é o fim.
and you will begin to hear of wars, and reports of wars; see, do not be troubled, for it is necessary for all [these] to come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 Porque se levantará nação contra nação, e reino contra reino, e haverá fomes, e pestes, e terremotos, em vários lugares.
For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in various places;
8 Mas todas estas coisas são o princípio de dores.
and all these [are the] beginning of travails;
9 Então vos hão de entregar para serdes atormentados, e matar-vos-ão: e sereis odiados de todas as gentes por causa do meu nome.
then they will deliver you up to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all the nations because of My Name;
10 Então muitos serão escandalizados, e trair-se-ão uns aos outros, e uns aos outros se aborrecerão,
and then will many be stumbled, and they will deliver up one another, and will hate one another.
11 E surgirão muitos falsos profetas, e enganarão muitos.
And many false prophets will arise, and will lead many astray;
12 E, por se multiplicar a iniquidade, o amor de muitos esfriará.
and because of the abounding of the lawlessness, the love of the many will become cold;
13 Mas aquele que perseverar até ao fim será salvo.
but he who endured to the end, he will be saved;
14 E este evangelho do reino será pregado em todo o mundo, em testemunho a todas as gentes, e então virá o fim
and this good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed in all the world, for a testimony to all the nations, and then will the end arrive.
15 Quando pois virdes que a abominação da desolação, de que falou o profeta Daniel, está no lugar santo; quem lê, atenda;
Whenever, therefore, you may see the abomination of the desolation, that was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (whoever is reading let him observe)
16 Então, os que estiverem na Judeia, fujam para os montes;
then those in Judea—let them flee to the mountains;
17 E quem estiver sobre o telhado não desça a tirar alguma coisa da sua casa;
he on the housetop—do not let him come down to take up anything out of his house;
18 E quem estiver no campo não volte atráz a buscar os seus vestidos.
and he in the field—do not let him turn back to take his garments.
19 Mas ai das grávidas e das que amamentarem naqueles dias!
And woe to those with child, and to those giving suck in those days;
20 E orai para que a vossa fuga não aconteça no inverno nem em sábado;
and pray that your flight may not be in winter, nor on a Sabbath;
21 Porque haverá então grande aflição, como nunca houve desde o princípio do mundo até agora, nem tão pouco há de haver
for there will then be great tribulation, such as was not from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor may be.
22 E, se aqueles dias não fossem abreviados, nenhuma carne se salvaria; mas por causa dos escolhidos serão abreviados aqueles dias.
And if those days were not shortened, no flesh would have been saved; but because of the chosen will those days be shortened.
23 Então, se alguém vos disser: Eis que o Cristo está aqui, ou ali, não deis crédito;
Then if anyone may say to you, Behold, here [is] the Christ! Or, Here! You may not believe;
24 Porque surgirão falsos Cristos e falsos profetas, e farão tão grandes sinais e prodígios que, se possível fôra, enganariam até os escolhidos.
for there will arise false Christs, and false prophets, and they will give great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, also the chosen.
25 Eis que eu vo-lo tenho predito.
Behold, I told you beforehand.
26 Portanto, se vos disserem: Eis que ele está no deserto, não saiais; Eis que ele está nas câmaras; não acrediteis.
If therefore they may say to you, Behold, He is in the wilderness, you may not go forth; Behold, in the inner chambers, you may not believe;
27 Porque, como o relâmpago sai do oriente e aparece até ao ocidente, assim será também a vinda do Filho do homem.
for as the lightning comes forth from the east, and appears to the west, so will also be the coming of the Son of Man;
28 Pois onde estiver o cadáver, ai se ajuntarão as águias.
for wherever the carcass may be, there the eagles will be gathered together.
29 E, logo depois da aflição daqueles dias, o sol escurecerá, e a lua não dará o seu resplendor, e as estrelas cairão do céu, e as potências dos céus serão abaladas
And immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give her light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken;
30 Então aparecerá no céu o sinal do Filho do homem; e todas as tribos da terra se lamentarão, e verão o Filho do homem, vindo sobre as nuvens do céu, com poder e grande glória.
and then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in the sky; and then will all the tribes of the earth strike the breast, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of Heaven, with power and much glory;
31 E enviará os seus anjos com rijo clamor de trombeta, e ajuntarão os seus escolhidos desde os quatro ventos, de uma à outra extremidade dos céus.
and He will send His messengers with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His chosen from the four winds, from the ends of the heavens to the ends thereof.
32 Aprendei pois esta parábola da figueira: Quando já o seu ramo se torna tenro e brota folhas, sabeis que está próximo o verão.
And from the fig tree learn the allegory: when its branch may have already become tender, and it may put forth the leaves, you know that summer [is] near,
33 Igualmente, quando virdes todas estas coisas, sabei que está próximo às portas.
so also you, when you may see all these, you know that it is near—at the doors.
34 Em verdade vos digo que não passará esta geração sem que todas estas coisas aconteçam.
Truly I say to you, this generation may not pass away until all these may come to pass.
35 O céu e a terra passarão, mas as minhas palavras não hão de passar.
The heaven and the earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.
36 Porém daquele dia e hora ninguém sabe, nem os anjos do céu, mas unicamente meu Pai.
And concerning that day and the hour no one has known—not even the messengers of the heavens—except My Father only;
37 E, como foi nos dias de Noé, assim será também a vinda do Filho do homem.
and as the days of Noah—so will also be the coming of the Son of Man;
38 Porque como, nos dias anteriores ao dilúvio, comiam, bebiam, casavam e davam-se em casamento, até ao dia em que Noé entrou na arca,
for as they were, in the days before the flood, eating, and drinking, marrying, and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered into the Ark,
39 E não o conheceram, até que veio o dilúvio, e os levou a todos, --assim será também a vinda do Filho do homem.
and they did not know until the flood came and took all away, so will also be the coming of the Son of Man.
40 Então, dois estarão no campo; será levado um, e deixado outro.
Then two [men] will be in the field: one is received, and one is left;
41 Duas estarão moendo no moinho; será levada uma, e deixada outra.
two [women] will be grinding in the mill: one is received, and one is left.
42 Vigiai, pois, porque não sabeis a que hora há de vir o vosso Senhor:
Watch therefore, because you have not known in what hour your Lord comes;
43 Mas considerai isto: se o pai de família soubesse a que vigília da noite havia de vir o ladrão, vigiaria e não deixaria minar a sua casa.
and know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch the thief comes, he had watched, and did not permit his house to be broken through;
44 Por isso, estai vós apercebidos também; porque o Filho do homem há de vir à hora em que não penseis.
because of this also you, become ready, because in what hour you do not think, the Son of Man comes.
45 Quem é pois o servo fiel e prudente, que o Senhor constituiu sobre os seus servos, para lhes dar o sustento a seu tempo?
Who, then, is the servant, faithful and wise, whom his lord set over his household, to give them the nourishment in season?
46 Bem-aventurado aquele servo que o Senhor, quando vier, achar fazendo assim.
Blessed that servant, whom his lord, having come, will find doing so;
47 Em verdade vos digo que o porá sobre todos os seus bens.
truly I say to you that he will set him over all his substance.
48 Porém, se aquele mau servo disser consigo: O meu senhor tarde virá;
And if that evil servant may say in his heart, My lord delays to come,
49 E começar a espancar os seus conservos, e a comer e beber com os temulentos,
and may begin to beat the fellow-servants, and to eat and to drink with the drunken,
50 Virá o senhor daquele servo num dia em que o não espera, e à hora em que ele não sabe,
the lord of that servant will arrive in a day when he does not expect, and in an hour of which he does not know,
51 E separá-lo-a, e porá a sua parte com os hipócritas: ali haverá pranto e ranger de dentes.
and will cut him off, and will appoint his portion with the hypocrites; there will be the weeping and the gnashing of the teeth.”
