Marcos 3
1 E outra vez entrou na sinagoga, e estava ali um homem que tinha uma das mãos mirrada.
Again he went into a synagogue where there was a man with his hand withered.
2 E estavam observando-o se curaria no sábado, para o acusarem.
And they kept watching Jesus to see whether he would cure him on the Sabbath; so as to have some charge to bring against him.
3 E disse ao homem que tinha a mão seca: Levanta-te para o meio.
"Stand up," Jesus said to the man with the withered hand, "and come forward."
4 E disse-lhes: É lícito no sábado fazer bem, ou fazer mal? salvar a vida, ou matar? E eles calavam-se.
Then he asked them. "Is it lawful to do good on the Sabbath Day, or to do harm? to save a life, or to destroy it?"
5 E, olhando para eles em redor com indignação, condoendo-se da dureza do seu coração, disse ao homem: Estende a tua mão. E ele a estendeu, e foi-lhe restituida a sua mão, sã como a outra.
They were silent. Then looking around upon them with anger, and deeply grieved by the hardening of their hearts, he said to the man, "Stretch out your hand!" He stretched it out, and the hand was at once completely restored.
6 E, tendo saído os fariseus, tomaram logo conselho com os herodianos contra ele, como o matariam.
As soon as they came out, the Pharisees plotted against him with the Herodians, in order to destroy him.
7 E retirou-se Jesus com os seus discípulos para o mar, e seguia-o uma grande multidão da Galiléia e da Judeia,
Then Jesus withdrew to the sea with his disciples; and a great crowd of people from Galilee followed.
8 E de Jerusalém, e da Idumea, e de além do Jordão; e de perto de Tiro e Sidon uma grande multidão, ouvindo quão grandes coisas fazia, veem ter com ele.
From Judea, too, and Jerusalem, and Idumea, and from beyond Jordan, and from the district of Tyre and Sidon, they came to him a vast multitude, because they heard what he was doing.
9 E disse aos seus discípulos que lhe tivessem sempre pronto um barquinho junto dele, por causa da multidão, para que o não oprimisse,
So he directed his disciples to keep a little boat in readiness for him, because of the crowd, to prevent their crushing him.
10 Porque tinha curado a muitos, de tal maneira que todos quantos tinham algum mal se arrojavam sobre ele, para o tocarem.
For he had healed so many that all the people who had ailments pressed upon him so as to touch him.
11 E os espíritos imundos, vendo-o, prostravam-se diante dele, e clamavam, dizendo: Tu és o Filho de Deus.
And whenever the unclean spirits beheld him, they threw themselves down at his feet, screaming out, "You are the Son of God."
12 E ele os ameaçava muito, para que não o manifestassem.
But over and over, he strictly forbade them to make him known.
13 E subiu ao monte, e chamou para si os que ele quis; e vieram a ele.
Then he went up the hillside and called to him those whom he chose, and they came to him.
14 E ordenou aos doze que estivessem com ele, para que os mandasse a pregar,
Twelve of them whom he also called "Apostles," he appointed to be with him, and also that he might send them out to preach,
15 E para que tivessem o poder de curar as enfermidades e expulsar os demônios:
and to have authority to cast out demons.
16 A Simão, a quem pôs o nome de Pedro,
There was Simon, whom he surnamed Peter,
17 E a Thiago, filho de Zebedeo, e a João, irmão de Thiago, aos quais pôs o nome de Boanerges, que significa: Filhos do trovão;
and James(them he surnamed Boanerges, that is, Sons of Thunder),
18 E a André, e a Felipe, e a bartolomeo, e a Mateus, e a Tomé, e a Thiago, filho de Alfeo, e a Thadeo, e a Simão, o Cananeo,
and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and Jamesthe son of Alphaeus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Zealot,
19 E a Judas Iscariotes, o que o entregou.
and Judas Iscariot who betrayed him.
20 E foram para casa. E ajuntou-se outra vez a multidão, de tal maneira que nem sequer podiam comer pão.
Then he went into a house, but again such a multitude assembled that they could not get their food.
21 E, quando os seus ouviram isto, sairam para o prender; porque diziam: Está fora de si.
When his relatives heard of it, they came to take possession of him, for they said, "He is out of his mind."
22 E os escribas, que tinham descido de Jerusalém, diziam: Tem Beelzebu, e pelo príncipe dos demônios expulsa os demônios.
The Scribes also who had come down from Jerusalem, said, "He is Beelzebub," and, "He casts out demons by the power of the Prince of the demons."
23 E, chamando-os a si, disse-lhes por parábolas: Como pode Satanás expulsar Satanás?
So when he had called them to him he spoke to them in parables. "How," said he, "can Satan cast out Satan?
24 E, se um reino se dividir contra si mesmo, tal reino não pode subsistir.
If a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand;
25 E, se uma casa se dividir contra si mesma, tal casa não pode subsistir.
if a household be divided against itself, that household cannot stand;
26 E, se Satanás se levantar contra si mesmo, e for dividido, não pode subsistir; antes tem fim.
and if Satan has revolted against himself, and is divided, he cannot stand. Nay, he meets his end!
27 Ninguém pode roubar as alfaias do valente, entrando-lhe em sua casa, se primeiro não manietar o valente; e então roubará a sua casa.
"Indeed, no one can enter the strong man’s house and carry off his property without first binding the strong man; then he can plunder his house.
28 Na verdade vos digo que todos os pecados serão perdoados aos filhos dos homens, e toda a sorte de blasfêmias, com que blasfemarem;
In solemn truth I tell you that the sons of men shall be forgiven all their sins and all the blasphemies they may utter,
30 (Porque diziam: Tem espírito immundo.)
Because they kept saying, "He has an unclean spirit."
31 Chegaram então seus irmãos e sua mãe, e, estando de fora, enviaram a ele, chamando-o.
Then his mother and his brothers came up, and standing outside, they sent a messenger to him to call him.
32 E a multidão estava assentada ao redor dele, e disseram-lhe: Eis que tua mãe e teus irmãos te buscam lá fora.
Now a crowd was sitting round him and they told him, "See! your mother and your brothers and sisters are outside, wanting to see you."
33 E ele lhes respondeu, dizendo: Quem é minha mãe e meus irmãos?
"Who are my mother and my brothers?" he replied.
34 E, olhando em redor para os que estavam assentados junto dele, disse: Eis aqui minha mãe e meus irmãos.
Then, with a glance at those who were in the circle sitting around him, he added.
35 Porque qualquer que fizer a vontade de Deus esse é meu irmão, e minha irmã, e minha mãe.
"Here are my mother and my brothers! Whoever does the will of God, that one is my brother and sister and mother."
