Marcos 10
1 E, levantando-se dali, foi para os termos da Judeia, além do Jordão, e a multidão se reuniu em torno dele; e tornou a ensina-los, como tinha por costume.
And He arose from thence and came into the coasts of Judea, through the country beyond Jordan: and the people resorted to Him again; and, as He was wont, He taught them again.
2 E, aproximando-se dele os fariseus, perguntaram-lhe, tentando-o: É lícito ao homem repudiar sua mulher?
And the pharisees came to Him and asked Him, "if it were lawful for a man to put away his wife," tempting Him.
3 Mas ele, respondendo, disse-lhes: Que vos mandou Moisés?
And he answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you?
4 E eles disseram: Moisés permitiu escrever-lhe carta de divórcio, e repudia-la.
And they said, Moses permitted a man to write a bill of divorce, and to put her away.
5 E Jesus, respondendo, disse-lhes: Pela dureza dos vossos corações vos escreveu ele esse mandamento;
And Jesus replied, He wrote this precept on account of your cruel tempers:
6 Porém, desde o princípio da criação, Deus os fez macho e fêmea.
but from the beginning of the world, God created them male and female.
7 Por isso deixará o homem a seu pai e a sua mãe, e unir-se-a a sua mulher,
For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother,
8 E serão os dois uma só carne: assim que já não serão dois, mas uma só carne
and be joined to his wife, and they two shall be one flesh: so that they are no longer two, but one flesh.
9 Portanto o que Deus ajuntou não o separe o homem.
Therefore let not man separate what God hath joined together.
10 E em casa tornaram os discípulos a interrogá-lo acerca disto mesmo.
And when they were in the house his disciples asked Him again about it:
11 E ele lhes disse: Qualquer que deixar a sua mulher e casar com outra adultera contra ela.
and He told them, Whoever putteth away his wife and marrieth another, committeth adultery against her.
12 E, se a mulher deixar a seu marido, e casar com outro, adultera.
And if a woman be divorced from her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.
13 E traziam-lhe meninos para que os tocasse, mas os discípulos repreendiam aos que lhos traziam.
And they brought to Him little children that He might touch them: and the disciples rebuked those that brought them.
14 Jesus, porém, vendo isto, indignou-se, e disse-lhes: deixai vir os meninos a mim, e não os impeçais; porque dos tais é o reino de Deus.
Which Jesus observing, was much displeased, and said to them, Let the children come to me; and hinder them not; for of such is the kingdom of God.
15 Em verdade vos digo que qualquer que não receber o reino de Deus como menino de maneira nenhuma entrará nele.
Verily I tell you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, shall by no means enter into it.
16 E, tomando-os nos seus braços, e impondo-lhes as mãos, os abençoou.
And He took them in his arms, and put his hands upon them, and blessed them.
17 E, saindo para o caminho, correu para ele um, e, pondo-se de joelhos diante dele, perguntou-lhe: Bom Mestre, que farei para herdar a vida eterna? (aiōnios g166)
And as he went out into the way, there came one running and kneeling to Him, and asked Him, Good master, what shall I do, that I may inherit eternal life? (aiōnios g166)
18 E Jesus lhe disse: Porque me chamas bom? ninguém há bom senão um, que é Deus.
And Jesus said unto him, Why dost thou call me good? there is none good, but one, that is God.
19 Tu sabes os mandamentos: Não adulterarás; não matarás; não furtarás; não darás falsos testemunhos; não defraudarás alguém: honra a teu pai e a tua mãe
Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Do not defraud, Honour thy father and thy mother.
20 Ele, porém, respondendo, lhe disse: Mestre, tudo isso guardei desde a minha mocidade.
And he answered and said unto Him, Master, all these have I kept from my youth.
21 E Jesus, olhando para ele, o amou e lhe disse: Falta-te uma coisa: vai, vende tudo quanto tens, e dá-o aos pobres, e terás um tesouro no céu; e vem, segue-me.
Then Jesus looked upon him with affection, and said to him, One thing thou wantest; go, sell all that thou hast, and give it to the poor; and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross and follow me.
22 Mas ele, pezaroso desta palavra, retirou-se triste; porque possuia muitas propriedades.
But he was sad at that saying, and went away sorrowful; for he had great possessions.
23 Então Jesus, olhando em redor, disse aos seus discípulos: Quão dificilmente entrarão no reino de Deus os que tem riquezas!
And Jesus looking round about saith to his disciples, How difficultly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
24 E os discípulos se admiraram destas suas palavras; mas Jesus, tornando a falar, disse-lhes: Filhos, quão difícil é, para os que confiam nas riquezas, entrar no reino de Deus!
And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus repeating it, saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them, that trust in riches, to enter into the kingdom of God!
25 É mais fácil passar um camelo pelo fundo de uma agulha, do que entrar um rico no reino de Deus.
It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
26 E eles se admiravam ainda mais, dizendo entre si: Quem poderá pois salvar-se?
And they were exceedingly amazed, saying one to another, Who then can be saved?
27 Jesus, porém, olhando para eles, disse: Para os homens é impossível, mas não para Deus, porque para Deus todas as coisas são possíveis.
But Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.
28 E Pedro começou a dizer-lhe: Eis que nós tudo deixamos, e te seguimos.
Then Peter said to Him, Behold we have left all, and followed thee.
29 E Jesus, respondendo, disse: Em verdade vos digo que ninguém há, que tenha deixado casa, ou irmãos, ou irmãs, ou pai, ou mãe, ou mulher, ou filhos, ou campos, por amor de mim e do Evangelho,
And Jesus answered and said, Verily I tell you, there is no one that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children,
31 Porém muitos primeiros serão derradeiros, e muitos derradeiros serão primeiros.
But many that are first shall be last, and the last first.
32 E iam no caminho, subindo a Jerusalém: e Jesus ia adiante deles. E eles maravilhavam-se, e seguiam-no atemorizados. E, tornando a tomar consigo os doze, começou a dizer-lhes as coisas que lhe deviam sobrevir,
And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus went before them: and they were amazed at it, and afraid to follow Him. And again taking the twelve aside, He began to tell them what things should befal Him,
33 Dizendo: Eis que nós subimos a Jerusalém, e o Filho do homem será entregue aos príncipes dos sacerdotes, e aos escribas, e o condenarão à morte, e o entregarão aos gentios.
saying, Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of man shall be delivered to the chief priests, and the scribes, and they will condemn Him to death, and deliver Him to the Gentiles;
34 E o escarnecerão, e açoitarão, e cuspirão nele, e o matarão; e ao terceiro dia resuscitará.
and they will insult Him, and scourge Him, and spit upon Him, and put Him to death: but on the third day He shall rise again.
35 E aproximaram-se dele Thiago e João, filhos de Zebedeo, dizendo: Mestre, quizeramos que nos fizesses o que pedirmos.
Then come to Him James and John, the sons of Zebedee, saying, Master, we desire that thou wouldest do for us what we shall request:
36 E ele lhes disse: Que quereis que vos faça?
and He said to them, What do ye desire me to do for you?
37 E eles lhe disseram: Concede-nos que na tua glória nos assentemos, um à tua direita, e outro à tua esquerda.
they said unto Him, Grant that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left, in thy glory.
38 Mas Jesus lhes disse: Não sabeis o que pedis: podeis vós beber o cálice que eu bebo, e ser batizados com o batismo com que eu sou batizado?
But Jesus said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask. Can ye drink of the cup, that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?
39 E eles lhe disseram: Podemos. Jesus, porém, disse-lhes: Em verdade, vós bebereis o cálice que eu beber, e sereia batizados com o batismo com que eu sou batizado;
And they said, We can. And Jesus said unto them, The cup indeed which I drink, ye shall drink of; and with the baptism, that I am baptized with, shall ye be baptized:
40 Mas o assentar-se à minha direita, ou à minha esquerda, não me pertence a mim concedê-lo, senão àqueles para quem está preparado.
but to sit on my right hand and on my left, is not mine to give, but for whom it is prepared.
41 E os dez, tendo ouvido isto, começaram a indignar-se contra Thiago e João.
And when the other ten heard it, they were provoked at James and John.
42 Mas Jesus, chamando-os a si, disse-lhes: Sabeis que os que julgam ser príncipes das gentes delas se assenhoream, e os seus grandes usam de autoridade sobre elas;
But Jesus called them to Him, and said unto them, Ye know that those who rule among the Gentiles, lord it over them, and their grandees exercise authority upon them.
43 Mas entre vós não será assim; antes, qualquer que entre vós quizer ser grande, será vosso servo;
But it shall not be so among you: but whoever would be great among you shall be your minister;
44 E qualquer que dentre vós quizer ser o primeiro será servo de todos.
and whoever of you would be first shall be servant of all.
45 Porque o Filho do homem também não veio para ser servido, mas para servir e dar a sua vida em resgate por muitos.
For the Son of man came not to be ministred unto, but to minister and to give his life a ransom for many.
46 Depois foram para Jericó. E, saindo ele de Jericó com seus discípulos, e uma grande multidão, Bartimeo, o cego, filho de Timeo, estava assentado junto do caminho, mendigando.
And they came to Jericho: and as He was going out of Jericho, with his disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimeus, the son of Timeus, sat by the way-side begging.
47 E, ouvindo que era Jesus de Nazareth, começou a clamar, e a dizer: Jesus, filho de David! tem misericórdia de mim.
And hearing that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.
48 E muitos o repreendiam, para que se calasse; mas ele clamava cada vez mais: Filho de David! tem misericórdia de mim.
And many rebuked him, that he might hold his peace: but he cried out so much the more, Thou son of David, have pity on me.
49 E Jesus, parando, disse que o chamassem; e chamaram o cego, dizendo-lhe: Tem bom ânimo; levanta-te, que ele te chama.
And Jesus stopt, and ordered him to be called: so they called the blind man, and said to him, Be of good courage, rise up, He calleth thee.
50 E ele, lançando de si a sua capa, levantou-se, e foi ter com Jesus.
And he threw off his outer garment, and arose, and came to Jesus.
51 E Jesus, falando, disse-lhe: Que queres que te faça? E o cego lhe disse: Mestre, que recupere a vista.
And Jesus said to him, What dost thou desire that I should do for thee? And the blind man said to Him, Lord, that I may recover my sight.
52 E Jesus lhe disse: vai, a tua fé te salvou. E logo viu, e seguiu a Jesus pelo caminho.
And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way, thy faith has cured thee. And he immediately recovered his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.
