Judas 1
1 Judas, servo de Jesus Cristo, e irmão de Thiago, aos chamados, santificados pelo Deus Pai, e conservados por Jesus Cristo:
JUDE a servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to those who are sanctified in God the Father, and preserved by Jesus Christ, the called:
2 Misericórdia, e paz, e caridade vos sejam multiplicadas.
mercy unto you, and peace and love be multiplied.
3 Amados, procurando eu escrever-vos com toda a diligência acerca da salvação comum, tive por necessidade escrever-vos, e exhortar-vos a batalhar pela fé que uma vez foi entregue aos santos.
Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you concerning the common salvation, I held it necessary to write unto you, exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith once delivered unto the saints.
4 Porque se introduziram alguns, que já de antes estavam escritos para este mesmo juízo, homens ímpios, que convertem em dissolução a graça de Deus, e negam a Deus, único dominador e Senhor nosso, Jesus Cristo.
For certain men have craftily introduced themselves, who were from of old proscribed for this condemnation, ungodly men, changing the grace of God into impurity, and denying our only sovereign God and Lord, Jesus Christ.
5 Porém quero lembrar-vos, como a quem já uma vez soube isto, que, havendo o Senhor salvo um povo, tirando-o da terra do Egito, destruiu depois os que não creram;
But I would remind you, though ye once knew this, that the Lord, though he delivered the people out of the land of Egypt, afterwards destroyed those who believed not.
6 E aos anjos que não guardaram a sua origem, mas deixaram a sua própria habitação, reservou debaixo da escuridão, e em prisões eternas até ao juízo daquele grande dia; (aïdios g126)
And the angels who preserved not their own primitive state, but deserted their proper abode, hath he reserved in everlasting chains under darkness, unto the judgment of the great day. (aïdios g126)
7 Como Sodoma e Gomorra, e as cidades circunvizinhas, que, havendo fornicado como aqueles, e ido após outra carne, foram postas por exemplo, sofrendo a pena do fogo eterno. (aiōnios g166)
As Sodom and Gomorrha and the surrounding cities, in like manner with them abandoned to whoredom, and going after other flesh, are set forth an example, suffering the judicial punishment of eternal fire. (aiōnios g166)
8 E contudo também estes, semelhantemente adormecidos, contaminam a carne, e rejeitam a dominação, e vituperam as dignidades.
In like manner also do these men, even when they dream, defile indeed the flesh, despise sovereignty, and revile dignities.
9 Porém o arcanjo Miguel, quando contendia com o diabo, e disputava a respeito do corpo de Moisés, não ousou pronunciar juízo de maldição contra ele; porém disse: O Senhor te repreenda.
Though Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil, he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not to produce a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
10 Porém estes dizem mal do que não sabem; e o que naturalmente conhecem, como animais irracionais, nisso se corrompem.
But these men speak evil even of the things of which they have no knowledge: but such things as they know naturally, as the brute beasts, in these they corrupt themselves.
11 Ai deles! porque entraram pelo caminho de Caim, e foram levados pelo engano do galardão de Balaão, e pereceram pela contradição de Coré.
Wo unto them! for they have walked in the way of Cain, and have eagerly run in Balaam’s erroneous path of hire, and have perished in opposition, like Corah.
12 Estes são manchas em vossas festas de caridade, banqueteando convosco, e apascentando-se a si mesmos sem temor: são nuvens sem água, levadas dos ventos de uma a outra parte: são como árvores murchas, infrutíferas, duas vezes mortas, desarreigadas;
These are in your feasts of love, as sunken rocks; though joining in your banquet, they feed themselves fearlessly; clouds without water carried about by the winds; trees untimely withering, fruitless, twice dead, rooted up;
13 Ondas impetuosas do mar, que escumam as suas mesmas abominações: estrelas errantes, para os quais está eternamente reservada a escuridão das trevas. (aiōn g165)
raging billows of the sea foaming out their own infamies; stars wandering from their courses, for whom the blackness of darkness for ever is reserved. (aiōn g165)
14 E destes profetizou também Enoch, o sétimo depois de Adão, dizendo: Eis que é vindo o Senhor com milhares de seus santos;
Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied also of these men, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with myriads of his saints,
15 Para fazer juízo contra todos e castigar dentre eles todos os ímpios, por todas as suas obras de impiedade, que impiamente cometeram, e por todas as duras palavras que os ímpios pecadores disseram contra ele.
to execute judgment against all men, and to convict all the ungodly of all their deeds of ungodliness which they have impiously committed, and of all the bitter words which impious offenders have spoken against him.
16 Estes são murmuradores, queixosos da sua sorte, andando segundo as suas concupiscências, e cuja boca fala coisas mui arrogantes, admirando as pessoas por causa do proveito.
These men are murmurers, complainers at their lot in life, walking after their own corrupt passions; and their mouth utters hyperbolically pompous expressions, pretending high personal admiration, in order to make their advantage.
17 Mas vós, amados, lembrai-vos das palavras que vos foram preditas pelos apóstolos de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo:
But ye, beloved, remember the words which have been spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ,
18 Como vos diziam que no último tempo haveria escarnecedores que andariam segundo as suas ímpias concupiscências.
how they told you that in the last time there will be scoffers, walking after their own ungodly passions.
19 Estes são os que se separam a si mesmos, sensuais, que não tem o espírito.
These are the men who separate themselves, sensual, destitute of the Spirit.
20 Mas vós, amados, edificando-vos a vós mesmos sobre a vossa santíssima fé, orando no Espírito Santo,
But ye, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying by the Holy Ghost,
21 Conservai-vos a vós mesmos na caridade de Deus, esperando a misericórdia de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo para a vida eterna. (aiōnios g166)
preserve yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
22 E apiedai-vos de alguns que estão duvidosos;
And of some have compassion, distinguishing their case;
23 Mas salvai os outros por temor, e arrebatai-os do fogo, aborrecendo até a roupa manchada da carne.
and others save with trembling, snatching them out of the fire; though hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
24 Ora, àquele que é poderoso para vos guardar de tropeçar, e apresentar-vos irrepreensíveis, com alegria, perante a sua glória,
Now to him who is able to guard you from stumbling, and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with exultation,
25 Ao único Deus, Salvador nosso, por Jesus Cristo, nosso Senhor, seja glória e magestade, domínio e poder, antes de todos os séculos, agora, e para todo o sempre. amém. (aiōn g165)
to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, might and dominion, both now and unto all eternity. Amen. (aiōn g165)
