Josué 21
1 Então os Cabeças dos pais dos levitas se achegaram a Eleazar o sacerdote, e a Josué, filho de Nun, e aos Cabeças dos pais das tribos dos filhos de Israel;
Then came near the heads of fathers’ [houses] of the Levites unto Eleazar the priest, and unto Joshua the son of Nun, and unto the heads of fathers’ [houses] of the tribes of the children of Israel;
2 E falaram-lhes em Silo na terra de Canaan, dizendo: O Senhor ordenou, pelo ministério de Moisés, que se nos dessem cidades para habitar, e os seus arrabaldes para os nossos animais.
and they spake unto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, Jehovah commanded by Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with the suburbs thereof for our cattle.
3 Pelo que os filhos de Israel deram aos levitas da sua herança, conforme ao dito do Senhor, estas cidades e os seus arrabaldes.
And the children of Israel gave unto the Levites out of their inheritance, according to the commandment of Jehovah, these cities with their suburbs.
4 E saiu a sorte pelas famílias dos kohathitas: e aos filhos de Aarão, o sacerdote, dentre os levitas, cairam por sorte da tribo de Judá, e da tribo de Simeão, e da tribo de Benjamin, treze cidades;
And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of Aaron the priest, who were of the Levites, had by lot out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of the Simeonites, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, thirteen cities.
5 E aos outros filhos de Kohath cairam por sorte das famílias da tribo de Ephraim, e da tribo de Dan, e da meia tribo de Manasseh, dez cidades;
And the rest of the children of Kohath had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, ten cities.
6 E aos filhos de Gerson cairam por sorte das famílias da tribo de issacar, e da tribo de Aser, e da tribo de Naphtali, e da meia tribo de Manasseh em Basan, treze cidades;
And the children of Gershon had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.
7 Aos filhos de Merari, segundo as suas famílias, da tribo de Ruben, e da tribo de Gad, e da tribo de Zebulon, doze cidades.
The children of Merari according to their families had out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.
8 E deram os filhos de Israel aos levitas estas cidades e os seus arrabaldes por sorte, como o Senhor ordenara pelo ministério de Moisés.
And the children of Israel gave by lot unto the Levites these cities with their suburbs, as Jehovah commanded by Moses.
9 Deram mais da tribo dos filhos de Judá e da tribo dos filhos de Simeão estas cidades, que por nome foram nomeadas:
And they gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, these cities which are [here] mentioned by name:
10 Para que fossem dos filhos de Aarão, das famílias dos kohathitas, dos filhos de Levi: porquanto a primeira sorte foi sua.
and they were for the children of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the children of Levi; for theirs was the first lot.
11 Assim lhes deram a cidade de Arba, do pai de Anok (esta é Hebron), no monte de Judá, e os seus arrabaldes em redor dela.
And they gave them Kiriath-arba, [which Arba was] the father of Anak (the same is Hebron), in the hill-country of Judah, with the suburbs thereof round about it.
12 Porém o campo da cidade, e as suas aldeias, deram a Caleb, filho de Jefoné, por sua possessão.
But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, gave they to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession.
13 Assim aos filhos de Aarão, o sacerdote, deram a cidade do refúgio do homicida, Hebron, e os seus arrabaldes, e Libna, e os seus arrabaldes;
And unto the children of Aaron the priest they gave Hebron with its suburbs, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Libnah with its suburbs,
14 E Jatthir, e os seus arrabaldes, e Estmoa, e os seus arrabaldes;
and Jattir with its suburbs, and Eshtemoa with its suburbs,
15 E Cholon, e os seus arrabaldes, e Debir, e os seus arrabaldes,
and Holon with its suburbs, and Debir with its suburbs,
16 E Ain, e os seus arrabaldes, e Jutta, e os seus arrabaldes, e Bethsemes, e os seus arrabaldes: nove cidades destas duas tribos.
and Ain with its suburbs, and Juttah with its suburbs, [and] Beth-shemesh with its suburbs; nine cities out of those two tribes.
17 E da tribo de Benjamin, Gibeon, e os seus arrabaldes, Geba, e os seus arrabaldes;
And out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with its suburbs, Geba with its suburbs,
18 Anathoth, e os seus arrabaldes, e Almon, e os seus arrabaldes; quatro cidades.
Anathoth with its suburbs, and Almon with its suburbs; four cities.
19 Todas as cidades dos sacerdotes, filhos de Aarão, foram treze cidades e os seus arrabaldes.
All the cities of the children of Aaron, the priests, were thirteen cities with their suburbs.
20 E as famílias dos filhos de Kohath, levitas, que ficaram dos filhos de Kohath, tiveram as cidades da sua sorte da tribo de Ephraim.
And the families of the children of Kohath, the Levites, even the rest of the children of Kohath, they had the cities of their lot out of the tribe of Ephraim.
21 E deram-lhes Sichem, cidade do refúgio do homicida, e os seus arrabaldes, no monte de Ephraim, e Gezer, e os seus arrabaldes;
And they gave them Shechem with its suburbs in the hill-country of Ephraim, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Gezer with its suburbs,
22 E Kibsaim, e os seus arrabaldes, e Beth-horon, e os seus arrabaldes: quatro cidades.
and Kibzaim with its suburbs, and Beth-horon with its suburbs; four cities.
23 E da tribo de Dan, Elteke, e os seus arrabaldes, Gibbethon, e os seus arrabaldes;
And out of the tribe of Dan, Elteke with its suburbs, Gibbethon with its suburbs,
24 Ajalon, e os seus arrabaldes, Gath-rimmon, e os seus arrabaldes: quatro cidades.
Aijalon with its suburbs, Gath-rimmon with its suburbs; four cities.
25 E da meia tribo de Manasseh, Taanach, e os seus arrabaldes, e Gath-rimmon, e os seus arrabaldes: duas cidades.
And out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Taanach with its suburbs, and Gath-rimmon with its suburbs; two cities.
26 Todas as cidades para as famílias dos filhos de Kohath que ficavam, foram dez, e os seus arrabaldes.
All the cities of the families of the rest of the children of Kohath were ten with their suburbs.
27 E aos filhos de Gerson, das famílias dos levitas, Golan da meia tribo de Manasseh, cidade do refúgio do homicida, em Basan, e os seus arrabaldes, e Be-estra, e os seus arrabaldes: duas cidades.
And unto the children of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the half-tribe of Manasseh [they gave] Golan in Bashan with its suburbs, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Be-eshterah with its suburbs; two cities.
28 E da tribo de Issacar, Kisjon, e os seus arrabaldes: Daberath, e os seus arrabaldes;
And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishion with its suburbs, Daberath with its suburbs,
29 Jarmuth, e os seus arrabaldes, En-Gannim, e os seus arrabaldes: quatro cidades.
Jarmuth with its suburbs, En-gannim with its suburbs; four cities.
30 E da tribo de Aser, Misal, e os seus arrabaldes, Abdon, e os seus arrabaldes;
And out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with its suburbs, Abdon with its suburbs,
31 Helkath, e os seus arrabaldes, e Rohob, e os seus arrabaldes: quatro cidades.
Helkath with its suburbs, and Rehob with its suburbs; four cities.
32 E da tribo de Naphtali, Kedes, cidade do refúgio do homicida, em Galiléia, e os seus arrabaldes, e hamoth-dor, e os seus arrabaldes; e Cartan, e os seus arrabaldes: três cidades.
And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with its suburbs, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Hammoth-dor with its suburbs, and Kartan with its suburbs; three cities.
33 Todas as cidades dos gersonitas, segundo as suas famílias, foram treze cidades e os seus arrabaldes.
All the cities of the Gershonites according to their families were thirteen cities with their suburbs.
34 E às famílias dos filhos de Merari, dos levitas que ficavam, foram dadas da tribo de Zebulon, Jokneam e os seus arrabaldes, Carta e os seus arrabaldes,
And unto the families of the children of Merari, the rest of the Levites, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam with its suburbs, and Kartah with its suburbs,
35 Dimna e os seus arrabaldes, Nahalal e os seus arrabaldes: quatro cidades.
Dimnah with its suburbs, Nahalal with its suburbs; four cities.
36 E da tribo de Ruben, Beser, e os seus arrabaldes, e Jahaz, e os seus arrabaldes;
And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer with its suburbs, and Jahaz with its suburbs,
37 Kedemoth, e os seus arrabaldes, e Mephaath, e os seus arrabaldes: quatro cidades.
Kedemoth with its suburbs, and Mephaath with its suburbs; four cities.
38 E da tribo de Gad, Ramoth, cidade do refúgio do homicida, em Gilead, e os seus arrabaldes, e Mahanaim, e os seus arrabaldes;
And out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with its suburbs, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Mahanaim with its suburbs,
39 Hesbon, e os seus arrabaldes, Jaezer e os seus arrabaldes: por todas, quatro cidades.
Heshbon with its suburbs, Jazer with its suburbs; four cities in all.
40 Todas estas cidades foram dos filhos de Merari, segundo as suas famílias, que ainda restavam das famílias dos levitas; e foi a sua sorte doze cidades.
All [these were] the cities of the children of Merari according to their families, even the rest of the families of the Levites; and their lot was twelve cities.
41 Todas as cidades dos levitas, no meio da herança dos filhos de Israel, foram quarenta e oito cidades e os seus arrabaldes.
All the cities of the Levites in the midst of the possession of the children of Israel were forty and eight cities with their suburbs.
42 Estavam estas cidades cada qual com os seus arrabaldes em redor delas: assim estavam todas estas cidades.
These cities were every one with their suburbs round about them: thus it was with all these cities.
43 Desta sorte deu o Senhor a Israel toda a terra que jurara dar a seus pais: e a possuiram e habitaram nela.
So Jehovah gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.
44 E o Senhor lhes deu repouso em redor, conforme a tudo quanto jurara a seus pais; e nenhum de todos os seus inimigos ficou em pé diante deles; todos os seus inimigos o Senhor deu na sua mão.
And Jehovah gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; Jehovah delivered all their enemies into their hand.
45 Palavra alguma falhou de todas as boas palavras que o Senhor falara à casa de Israel: tudo se cumpriu.
There failed not aught of any good thing which Jehovah had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.
