João 6
1 Depois disto Jesus partiu para a outra banda do mar da Galiléia, que é o de Tiberiades.
After these things Jesus went away beyond the Sea of Galilee (of Tiberias),
2 E uma grande multidão o seguia; porque via os sinais que operava sobre os enfermos.
and there was following Him a great multitude, because they were seeing His signs that He was doing on the ailing;
3 E Jesus subiu ao monte, e assentou-se ali com os seus discípulos.
and Jesus went up to the mountain, and He was sitting with His disciples there,
4 E a pascoa, a festa dos judeus, estava próxima.
and the Passover was near, the celebration of the Jews.
5 Então Jesus, levantando os olhos, e vendo que uma grande multidão vinha ter com ele, disse a Felipe: de onde compraremos pão, para estes comerem?
Jesus then having lifted up [His] eyes and having seen that a great multitude comes to Him, says to Philip, “From where will we buy loaves, that these may eat?”
6 Mas dizia isto para o experimentar; porque ele bem sabia o que havia de fazer.
And this He said, trying him, for He Himself had known what He was about to do.
7 Felipe respondeu-lhe: Duzentos dinheiros de pão não lhes bastarão, para que cada um deles tome um pouco.
Philip answered Him, “Two hundred denarii worth of loaves are not sufficient to them, that each of them may receive some little”;
8 E um dos seus discípulos, André, irmão de Simão Pedro, disse-lhe:
one of His disciples—Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter—says to Him,
9 Está aqui um rapaz que tem cinco pães de cevada e dois peixinhos: mas que é isto para tantos?
“There is one little boy here who has five barley loaves and two fishes, but these—what are they to so many?”
10 E disse Jesus: Fazei assentar os homens. E havia muita erva naquele lugar. Assentaram-se pois os homens em número de quase cinco mil.
And Jesus said, “Make the men to sit down”; and there was much grass in the place, the men then sat down, in number, as it were, five thousand,
11 E Jesus tomou os pães e, havendo dado graças, repartiu-os pelos discípulos, e os discípulos pelos que estavam assentados; e igualmente também dos peixes, quanto queriam.
and Jesus took the loaves, and having given thanks He distributed [them] to the disciples, and the disciples to those reclining, in like manner, also of the little fishes as much as they wished.
12 E, quando já estavam saciados, disse aos seus discípulos: Recolhei os pedaços que sobejaram, para que nada se perca.
And when they were filled, He says to His disciples, “Gather together the broken pieces that are left over, that nothing may be lost”;
13 Recolheram-nos pois, e encheram doze cestos de pedaços dos cinco pães de cevada, que sobejaram aos que haviam comido.
they gathered together, therefore, and filled twelve hand-baskets with broken pieces, from the five barley loaves that were over to those having eaten.
14 Vendo pois aqueles homens o sinal que Jesus tinha feito, diziam: Este é verdadeiramente o profeta que devia vir ao mundo.
The men, then, having seen the sign that Jesus did, said, “This is truly the Prophet who is coming into the world”;
15 Sabendo pois Jesus que haviam de vir arrebata-lo, para o fazerem rei, tornou a retirar-se, ele só, para o monte.
Jesus, therefore, having known that they are about to come, and to seize Him by force that they may make Him king, retired again to the mountain Himself alone.
16 E, quando veio a tarde, os seus discípulos desceram para o mar.
And when evening came, His disciples went down to the sea,
17 E, entrando no barco, passaram da outra banda do mar para Cafarnaum, e era já escuro, e ainda Jesus não tinha chegado ao pé deles.
and having entered into the boat, they were going over the sea to Capernaum, and darkness had already come, and Jesus had not come to them,
18 E o mar se levantou, porquanto um grande vento assoprava.
the sea also—a great wind blowing—was being raised,
19 E, tendo navegado uns vinte e cinco ou trinta estádios, viram a Jesus, andando sobre o mar e aproximando-se do barco; e temeram.
having pushed onward, therefore, about twenty-five or thirty stadia, they behold Jesus walking on the sea, and coming near to the boat, and they were afraid;
20 Porém ele lhes disse: Sou eu, não temais.
and He says to them, “I AM; do not be afraid”;
21 Então eles de boamente o receberam no barco; e logo o barco chegou à terra para onde iam.
they were willing then to receive Him into the boat, and immediately the boat came to the land to which they were going.
22 No dia seguinte, a multidão, que estava da outra banda do mar, vendo que não havia ali mais do que um barquinho, e que Jesus não entrara com seus discípulos naquele barquinho, mas que os seus discípulos tinham ido sós.
On the next day, the multitude that was standing on the other side of the sea, having seen that there was no other little boat there except one—that into which His disciples entered—and that Jesus did not go in with His disciples into the little boat, but His disciples went away alone
23 (contudo, outros barquinhos vieram de Tiberiades, perto do lugar onde comeram o pão, havendo o Senhor dado graças):
(and other little boats came from Tiberias, near the place where they ate the bread, the LORD having given thanks),
24 Vendo pois a multidão que Jesus não estava ali nem os seus discípulos, entraram eles também nos barcos, e foram a Cafarnaum, em busca de Jesus.
when therefore the multitude saw that Jesus is not there, nor His disciples, they also entered into the boats themselves, and came to Capernaum seeking Jesus;
25 E, achando-o na outra banda do mar, disseram-lhe: rabi, quando chegaste aqui?
and having found Him on the other side of the sea, they said to Him, “Rabbi, when have You come here?”
26 Jesus respondeu-lhes, e disse: Na verdade, na verdade vos digo que me buscais, não pelos sinais que vistes, mas porque comestes do pão e vos saciastes.
Jesus answered them and said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate of the loaves, and were satisfied;
27 Trabalhai, não pela comida que perece, mas pela comida que permanece para a vida eterna, a qual o Filho do homem vos dará; porque a este selou o Pai, Deus. (aiōnios g166)
do not work for the food that is perishing, but for the food that is remaining to continuous life, which the Son of Man will give to you, for the Father sealed Him—[even] God.” (aiōnios g166)
28 Disseram-lhe pois: Que faremos, para obrarmos as obras de Deus?
Therefore they said to Him, “What may we do that we may work the works of God?”
29 Jesus respondeu, e disse-lhes: A obra de Deus é esta: Que creiais naquele que ele enviou.
Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you may believe in Him whom He sent.”
30 Disseram-lhe pois: Que sinal pois fazes tu, para que o vejamos, e creiamos em ti? Que obras tu?
Therefore they said to Him, “What sign, then, do You do, that we may see and may believe You? What do You work?
31 Nossos pais comeram o maná no deserto, como está escrito: Deu-lhes a comer o pão do céu.
Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, according as it is having been written: He gave them bread out of Heaven to eat.”
32 Disse-lhes pois Jesus: Na verdade, na verdade vos digo: Moisés não vos deu o pão do céu; mas meu Pai vos dá o verdadeiro pão do céu.
Jesus, therefore, said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread out of Heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread out of Heaven;
33 Porque o pão de Deus é aquele que desce do céu, e que dá vida ao mundo.
for the bread of God is Him coming down out of Heaven, and giving life to the world.”
34 Disseram-lhe pois: Senhor, dá-nos sempre desse pão.
Therefore they said to Him, “Lord, always give us this bread.”
35 E Jesus lhes disse: Eu sou o pão da vida; aquele que vem a mim não terá fome, e quem crê em mim nunca terá sede
And Jesus said to them, “I AM the bread of life; he who is coming to Me may not hunger, and he who is believing in Me may not thirst—at any time;
36 Mas já vos disse que também vós me vistes, e não credes.
but I said to you that you also have seen Me, and you do not believe;
37 Tudo o que o Pai me dá virá a mim; e o que vem a mim de maneira nenhuma o lançarei fora.
all that the Father gives to Me will come to Me; and him who is coming to Me, I will never cast outside,
38 Porque eu desci do céu, não para fazer a minha vontade, mas a vontade daquele que me enviou.
because I have come down out of Heaven, not that I may do My will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
39 E a vontade do Pai que me enviou é esta: que de tudo quanto me deu nada perca, mas que o resuscite no último dia.
And this is the will of the Father who sent Me, that all that He has given to Me, I may lose none of it, but may raise it up in the last day;
40 E a vontade daquele que me enviou é esta: que todo aquele que vê o Filho, e crê nele, tenha a vida eterna; e eu o resuscitarei no último dia. (aiōnios g166)
and this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who is beholding the Son, and is believing in Him, may have continuous life, and I will raise him up in the last day.” (aiōnios g166)
41 Murmuravam pois dele os judeus, porque dissera: Eu sou o pão que desceu do céu.
The Jews, therefore, were murmuring at Him, because He said, “I AM the bread that came down out of Heaven”;
42 E diziam: Não é este Jesus, o filho de José, cujo Pai e mãe nós conhecemos? Como pois diz ele: Desci do céu?
and they said, “Is this not Jesus, the Son of Joseph, whose father and mother we have known? How then does this One say, I have come down out of Heaven?”
43 Respondeu pois Jesus, e disse-lhes: Não murmureis entre vós.
Jesus answered, therefore, and said to them, “Do not murmur with one another;
44 Ninguém pode vir a mim, se o Pai que me enviou o não trouxer: e eu o resuscitarei no último dia.
no one is able to come to Me if the Father who sent Me may not draw him, and I will raise him up in the last day;
45 Está escrito nos profetas: E serão todos ensinados por Deus. Assim que todo aquele que do Pai ouviu e aprendeu vem a mim.
it is having been written in the Prophets: And they will all be taught of God; everyone, therefore, who heard from the Father, and learned, comes to Me;
46 Não que alguém visse ao Pai, senão aquele que é de Deus: este tem visto ao Pai.
not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God, He has seen the Father.
Truly, truly, I say to you, he who is believing in Me has continuous life; (aiōnios g166)
48 Eu sou o pão da vida.
I AM the bread of life;
49 Vossos pais comeram o maná no deserto, e morreram.
your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness and they died;
50 Este é o pão que desce do céu, para que o que dele comer não morra.
this is the bread that is coming down out of Heaven, that anyone may eat of it, and not die.
51 Eu sou o pão vivo que desceu do céu; se alguém comer deste pão, viverá para sempre: e o pão que eu der é a minha carne, que eu darei pela vida do mundo (aiōn g165)
I AM the living bread that came down out of Heaven; if anyone may eat of this bread he will live—throughout the age; and the bread also that I will give is My flesh, that I will give for the life of the world.” (aiōn g165)
52 Disputavam pois os judeus entre si, dizendo: Como nos pode dar este a sua carne a comer?
The Jews, therefore, were striving with one another, saying, “How is this One able to give us [His] flesh to eat?”
53 Jesus pois lhes disse: Na verdade, na verdade vos digo que, se não comerdes a carne do Filho do homem, e não beberdes o seu sangue, não tereis vida em vós mesmos.
Jesus, therefore, said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, if you may not eat the flesh of the Son of Man, and may not drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves;
54 Quem come a minha carne e bebe o meu sangue tem a vida eterna, e eu o resuscitarei no último dia. (aiōnios g166)
he who is eating My flesh, and is drinking My blood, has continuous life, and I will raise him up in the last day; (aiōnios g166)
55 Porque a minha carne verdadeiramente é comida, e o meu sangue verdadeiramente é bebida;
for My flesh is truly food, and My blood is truly drink;
56 Quem come a minha carne e bebe o meu sangue permanece em mim e eu nele.
he who is eating My flesh, and is drinking My blood, remains in Me, and I in him.
57 Como o Pai, que vive, me enviou, e eu vivo pelo Pai, assim, quem me come a mim, também viverá por mim.
According as the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, he also who is eating Me, even that one will live because of Me;
58 Este é o pão que desceu do céu: não como vossos pais, que comeram o maná, e morreram: quem comer este pão viverá para sempre (aiōn g165)
this is the bread that came down out of Heaven; not as your fathers ate the manna, and died; he who is eating this bread will live—throughout the age.” (aiōn g165)
59 Ele disse estas coisas na sinagoga, ensinando em Cafarnaum.
He said these things in a synagogue, teaching in Capernaum;
60 Muitos pois dos seus discípulos, ouvindo isto, disseram: Duro é este discurso; quem o pode ouvir?
many, therefore, of His disciples having heard, said, “This word is hard; who is able to hear it?”
61 Sabendo pois Jesus em si mesmo que os seus discípulos murmuravam disto, disse-lhes: Isto escandaliza-vos?
And Jesus having known in Himself that His disciples are murmuring about this, said to them, “Does this stumble you?
62 Que seria, pois, se visseis subir o Filho do homem para onde primeiro estava?
If then you may behold the Son of Man going up where He was before?
63 O espírito é o que vivifica, a carne para nada aproveita; as palavras que eu vos digo são espírito e vida.
It is the Spirit that is giving life; the flesh does not profit anything; the sayings that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life;
64 Mas há alguns de vós que não crêem. Porque bem sabia Jesus, desde o princípio, quem eram os que não criam, e quem era o que o havia de entregar.
but there are certain of you who do not believe”; for Jesus had known from the beginning who they are who are not believing, and who is he who will deliver Him up,
65 E dizia: Por isso eu vos tenho dito que ninguém pode vir a mim, se por meu Pai lhe não for concedido.
and He said, “Because of this I have said to you, No one is able to come to Me if it may not have been given him from My Father.”
66 Desde então muitos dos seus discípulos tornaram para traz, e já não andavam com ele.
From this [time] many of His disciples went away backward, and were no longer walking with Him,
67 Então disse Jesus aos doze: Quereis vós também retirar-vos?
Jesus, therefore, said to the Twelve, “Do you also wish to go away?”
68 Respondeu-lhe pois Simão Pedro: Senhor, para quem iremos nós? Tu tens as palavras da vida eterna. (aiōnios g166)
Simon Peter, therefore, answered Him, “Lord, to whom will we go? You have sayings of continuous life; (aiōnios g166)
69 E nós temos crido e conhecido que tu és o Cristo, o Filho de Deus.
and we have believed, and we have known, that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
70 Respondeu-lhe Jesus: Não vos escolhi a vós os doze? e um de vós é diabo.
Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you—the Twelve? And of you—one is a devil.”
71 E isto dizia ele de Judas Iscariotes, filho de Simão; porque este o havia de entregar, sendo um dos doze.
And He spoke of Judas, [son] of Simon Iscariot, for he was about to deliver Him up, being one of the Twelve.
