João 3
1 E havia entre os fariseus um homem, chamado Nicodemos, príncipe dos judeus.
And there was a man of the Pharisees, his name Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews;
2 Este foi ter de noite com Jesus, e disse-lhe: rabi, bem sabemos que és Mestre, vindo de Deus: porque ninguém pode fazer estes sinais que tu fazes, se Deus não for com ele.
this one came to Him by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we have known that You have come from God—a teacher, for no one is able to do these signs that You do, if God may not be with him.”
3 Jesus respondeu, e disse-lhe: Na verdade, na verdade te digo que aquele que não nascer de novo, não pode ver o reino de Deus.
Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone may not be born from above, he is not able to see the Kingdom of God”;
4 Disse-lhe Nicodemos: Como pode um homem nascer, sendo velho? porventura pode tornar a entrar no ventre de sua mãe, e nascer?
Nicodemus says to Him, “How is a man able to be born, being old? Is he able to enter into the womb of his mother a second time, and to be born?”
5 Jesus respondeu: Na verdade, na verdade, te digo que aquele que não nascer da água e do espírito não pode entrar no reino de Deus,
Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone may not be born of water and the Spirit, he is not able to enter into the Kingdom of God;
6 O que é nascido da carne é carne, e o que é nascido do espírito é espírito.
that which has been born of the flesh is flesh, and that which has been born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Não te maravilhes de te ter dito: necessário vos é nascer de novo.
You may not wonder that I said to you, It is required for you to be born from above;
8 O vento assopra onde quer, e ouves a sua voz; porém não sabes de onde vem, nem para onde vai; assim é todo aquele que é nascido do espírito.
the Spirit blows where [that] One wills, and you hear [that] One’s voice, but you have not known from where [that] One comes, and to where [that] One goes; thus is everyone who has been born of the Spirit.”
9 Nicodemos respondeu, e disse-lhe: Como se pode fazer isto?
Nicodemus answered and said to Him, “How are these things able to happen?”
10 Jesus respondeu, e disse-lhe: Tu és mestre de Israel, e não sabes isto?
Jesus answered and said to him, “You are the teacher of Israel and you do not know these things?
11 Na verdade, na verdade te digo que dizemos o que sabemos e testificamos o que vimos; e não aceitais o nosso testemunho.
Truly, truly, I say to you, what We have known We speak, and what We have seen We testify, and you do not receive Our testimony;
12 Se vos falei de coisas terrestres, e não crestes, como crereis, se vos falar das celestiais?
if I spoke to you of the earthly things, and you do not believe, how, if I will speak to you of the heavenly things, will you believe?
13 E ninguém subiu ao céu, senão o que desceu do céu, a saber, o Filho do homem, que está no céu
And no one has gone up to Heaven, except He who came down out of Heaven—the Son of Man who is in Heaven.
14 E, como Moisés levantou a serpente no deserto, assim importa que o Filho do homem seja levantado;
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so it is necessary for the Son of Man to be lifted up,
that everyone who is believing in Him may not perish, but may have continuous life, (aiōnios g166)
16 Porque Deus amou o mundo de tal maneira, que deu o seu Filho unigênito, para que todo aquele que nele crê não pereça, mas tenha a vida eterna. (aiōnios g166)
for God so loved the world that He gave the only begotten Son, that everyone who is believing in Him may not perish, but may have continuous life. (aiōnios g166)
17 Porque Deus enviou o seu Filho ao mundo, não para que condenasse o mundo, mas para que o mundo fosse salvo por ele.
For God did not send His Son into the world that He may judge the world, but that the world may be saved through Him;
18 Quem crê nele não é condenado; mas quem não crê já está condenado; porquanto não crê no nome do unigênito Filho de Deus.
he who is believing in Him is not judged, but he who is not believing has been judged already, because he has not believed in the Name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 E a condenação é esta: Que a luz veio ao mundo, e os homens amaram mais as trevas do que a luz, porque as suas obras eram más.
And this is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light, for their works were evil;
20 Porque todo aquele que faz o mal aborrece a luz, e não vem para a luz, para que as suas obras não sejam arguidas.
for everyone who is doing wicked things hates the light, and does not come into the light, that his works may not be detected;
21 Mas quem obra a verdade vem para a luz, afim de que as suas obras sejam manifestas, porque são feitas em Deus.
but he who is doing the truth comes into the light, that his works may be revealed, that in God they are having been worked.”
22 Depois disto foi Jesus com os seus discípulos para a terra da Judeia; e estava ali com eles, e batizava.
After these things Jesus and His disciples came into the land of Judea, and there He tarried with them, and was immersing;
23 Ora João batizava também em Enon, junto a Salim, porquanto havia ali muitas águas; e vinham ali, e eram batizados.
and John was also immersing in Aenon, near to Salem, because there were many waters there, and they were coming and were being immersed—
24 Porque ainda João não tinha sido lançado na prisão.
for John was not yet cast into the prison—
25 Houve pois uma questão entre os discípulos de João e os judeus, acerca da purificação.
there arose then a question from the disciples of John with [some] Jews about purifying,
26 E foram ter com João, e disseram-lhe: rabi, aquele que estava contigo além do Jordão, do qual tu deste testemunho, eis que batiza, e todos vão ter com ele
and they came to John and said to him, “Rabbi, He who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you testified, behold, this One is immersing, and all are coming to Him.”
27 João respondeu, e disse: O homem não pode receber coisa alguma, se lhe não for dada do céu
John answered and said, “A man is not able to receive anything if it may not have been given him from Heaven;
28 Vós mesmos me sois testemunhas de que disse: Eu não sou o Cristo, mas sou enviado adiante dele.
you yourselves testify to me that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am having been sent before Him;
29 Aquele que tem a esposa é o esposo; mas o amigo do esposo, que lhe assiste e o ouve, alegra-se muito com a voz do esposo. Assim pois já este meu gozo está cumprido.
He who is having the bride is bridegroom, and the friend of the bridegroom, who is standing and hearing Him, rejoices with joy because of the voice of the bridegroom; this, then, my joy has been fulfilled.
30 A ele convém crescer, porém a mim diminuir.
It is necessary [for] Him to increase, and me to become less;
31 Aquele que vem de cima é sobre todos: aquele que vem da terra é da terra e fala da terra. aquele que vem do céu é sobre todos.
He who is coming from above is above all; he who is from the earth, from the earth he is, and from the earth he speaks; He who is coming from Heaven is above all.
32 E aquilo que viu e ouviu isso testifica; e ninguém aceita o seu testemunho.
And what He has seen and heard—this He testifies, and none receives His testimony;
33 Aquele que aceitou o seu testemunho, esse selou que Deus é verdadeiro.
he who is receiving His testimony sealed that God is true;
34 Porque aquele que Deus enviou fala as palavras de Deus; porque não lhe dá Deus o espírito por medida.
for He whom God sent, He speaks the sayings of God; for God does not give the Spirit by measure;
35 O Pai ama o Filho, e todas as coisas entregou nas suas mãos.
the Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand;
36 Aquele que crê no Filho tem a vida eterna; porém aquele que não crê no Filho não verá a vida; mas a ira de Deus sobre ele permanece. (aiōnios g166)
he who is believing in the Son has continuous life; and he who is not believing the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.” (aiōnios g166)
