Jó 37
1 Sobre isto também treme o meu coração, e salta do seu lugar.
“Also, my heart trembles at this, And it moves from its place.
2 Atentamente ouvi o movimento da sua voz, e o sonido que sai da sua boca.
Listen diligently to the trembling of His voice, Indeed, the sound goes forth from His mouth.
3 Ele o envia por debaixo de todos os céus, e a sua luz até aos confins da terra.
He directs it under the whole heavens, And its light [is] over the skirts of the earth.
4 Depois disto brama com grande voz, troveja com a sua alta voz; e, ouvida a sua voz, não tarda com estas coisas.
A voice roars after it—He thunders with the voice of His excellence, And He does not hold them back, When His voice is heard.
5 Com a sua voz troveja Deus maravilhosamente: faz grandes coisas, e nós as não compreendemos.
God thunders with His voice wonderfully, Doing great things and we do not know.
6 Porque à neve diz: Está sobre a terra: como também ao aguaceiro e à sua forte chuva.
For He says to snow: Be [on] the earth. And the small rain and great rain of His power.
7 Ele sela as mãos de todo o homem, para que conheça todos os homens de sua obra.
Into the hand of every man he seals, For the knowledge by all men of His work.
8 E as bestas entram nos seus esconderijos e ficam nas suas cavernas.
And the beast enters into [its] lair, And it continues in its habitations.
9 Da recâmara sai o pé de vento, e dos ventos dispersivos o frio.
From the inner chamber comes a windstorm, And from scatterings winds—cold,
10 Pelo assopro de Deus se dá a geada, e as largas águas se endurecem.
From the breath of God is frost given, And the breadth of waters is constricted,
11 Também com a umidade carrega as grossas nuvens, e esparge a nuvem da sua luz.
Indeed, by filling He presses out a cloud, [and] His light scatters a cloud.
12 Então elas, segundo o seu prudente conselho, se tornam pelas esferas, para que façam tudo quanto lhes ordena sobre a superfície do mundo habitável,
And it is turning itself around by His counsels, For their doing all He commands them, On the face of the habitable earth.
13 Seja que por vara, ou para a sua terra, ou por beneficência as faça vir.
Whether for a rod, or for His land, Or for kindness—He causes it to come.
14 A isto, ó Job, inclina os teus ouvidos: põe-te em pé, e considera as maravilhas de Deus.
Hear this, O Job, Stand and consider the wonders of God.
15 Porventura sabes tu quando Deus considera nelas, e faz resplandecer a lua da sua nuvem?
Do you know when God places them, And caused the light of His cloud to shine?
16 Tens tu notícia do equilíbrio das grossas nuvens e das maravilhas de aquele que é perfeito nos conhecimentos,
Do you know the balancings of a cloud? The wonders of the Perfect in knowledge?
17 Ou de como os teus vestidos aquecem, quando do sul há calma sobre a terra?
How your garments [are] warm, In the quieting of the earth from the south?
18 Ou estendeste com ele os céus, que estão firmes como espelho fundido?
You have made an expanse with Him For the clouds—strong as a hard mirror!
19 Ensina-nos o que lhe diremos; porque nós nada poderemos pôr em boa ordem, por causa das trevas.
Let us know what we say to Him, We do not set in array because of darkness.
20 Ou ser-lhe-ia contado, quando eu assim falasse? dir-lhe-á alguém isso? pois será devorado.
Is it declared to Him that I speak? If a man has spoken, surely he is swallowed up.
21 E agora se não pode olhar para o sol, quando resplandece nos céus; passando e purificando-os o vento.
And now, they have not seen the light, It [is] bright in the clouds, And the wind has passed by and cleanses them.
22 O esplendor de ouro vem do norte: pois em Deus há uma tremenda magestade.
It comes from the golden north, Fearful splendor [is] beside God.
23 Ao Todo-poderoso não podemos alcançar; grande é em potência; porém a ninguém oprime em juízo e grandeza de justiça.
The Mighty! We have not found Him out, High in power and judgment, He does not answer! And abundant in righteousness,
24 Por isso o temem os homens: ele não respeita aos sábios de coração.
Therefore men fear Him, He does not see any of the wise of heart.”
