Jeremias 40
1 A palavra que veio a Jeremias da parte do Senhor, depois que Nebuzaradan, capitão dos da guarda, o deixara ir de Rama, quando o tomou, estando ele atado com cadeias no meio de todos os do cativeiro de Jerusalém e de Judá, que foram levados cativos para Babilônia;
The word which it came to Jeremiah from with Yahweh after - set free him Nebuzaradan [the] chief of [the] bodyguards from Ramah when took he him and he [was] bound with chains in among all [the] exile[s] of Jerusalem and Judah who were being taken into exile Babylon towards.
2 Porque o capitão da guarda tomou a Jeremias, e lhe disse: O Senhor teu Deus falou este mal contra este lugar:
And he took [the] chief of [the] bodyguards Jeremiah and he said to him Yahweh God your he spoke the harm this against the place this.
3 E o Senhor o trouxe, e fez como havia dito: porque pecastes contra o Senhor, e não obedecestes à sua voz; pelo que vos sucedeu esta coisa.
And he has brought [it] and he has done Yahweh just as he said for you sinned to Yahweh and not you listened to voice his and it has happened to you (the thing *Q(K)*) this.
4 Agora pois, eis que te soltei hoje das cadeias que estavam sobre as tuas mãos; se for bem aos teus olhos vir comigo para Babilônia, vem, e porei sobre ti os meus olhos; porém, se for mal aos teus olhos vir comigo para Babilônia, deixa de vir. Olha, toda a terra está diante de ti; para onde quer que for bom e reto aos teus olhos que vás, para ali vai.
And now here! I have set free you this day from the chains which [are] on hand your if it is good in view your to come with me Babylon come so I may set eye my on you and if [is] displeasing in view your to come with me Babylon refrain see all the land [is] before you to [the place] good and to the [place] right in view your to go there towards go.
5 Mas, porquanto ele ainda não tinha voltado, disse-lhe: Volta a Gedalias, filho de Ahicam, filho de Saphan, a quem o rei de Babilônia pôs sobre as cidades de Judá, e habita com ele no meio do povo; ou para qualquer parte aonde quer que for reto aos teus olhos que vás, para ali vai. E deu-lhe o capitão da guarda sustento para o caminho, e um presente, e o deixou ir.
And still he not he will return and return! to Gedaliah [the] son of Ahikam [the] son of Shaphan whom he has appointed [the] king of Babylon over [the] cities of Judah and remain with him in among the people or to any [place] right in view your to go go and he gave to him [the] chief of [the] bodyguards a food allowance and a present and he let go him.
6 Assim veio Jeremias a Gedalias, filho de Ahicam, a Mizpah; e habitou com ele no meio do povo que havia ficado na terra.
And he went Jeremiah to Gedaliah [the] son of Ahikam Mizpah towards and he remained with him in among the people who remained in the land.
7 Ouvindo pois todos os príncipes dos exércitos, que estavam no campo, eles e os seus homens, que o rei de Babilônia tinha posto sobre a terra a Gedalias, filho de Ahicam, e que lhe havia encarregado a ele os homens, e as mulheres, e os meninos, e os mais pobres da terra, os quais não foram levados cativos a Babilônia,
And they heard all [the] commanders of the armies which [were] in the open country they and men their that he had appointed [the] king of Babylon Gedaliah [the] son of Ahikam over the land and that - he had appointed with him men and women and little one[s] and some of [the] poor people of the land from [those] who not they had been taken into exile Babylon towards.
8 Vieram a Gedalias, a Mizpah: a saber: Ishmael, filho de Nethanias, e Johanan e Jonathan, filhos de Careah, e Seraias, filho de Tanhumeth, e os filhos de Ephai, o netophatita, e Jezanias, filho dum maachatita, eles e os seus homens.
And they came to Gedaliah Mizpah towards and Ishmael [the] son Nethaniah and Johanan and Jonathan [the] sons of Kareah and Seraiah [the] son of Tanhumeth and [the] sons of - (Ephai *Q(K)*) the Netophathite and Jezaniah [the] son of the Maacathite they and men their.
9 E jurou Gedalias, filho de Ahicam, filho de Saphan, a eles e aos seus homens, dizendo: Não temais servir aos caldeus: ficai na terra, e servi o rei de Babilônia, e bem vos irá.
And he swore an oath to them Gedaliah [the] son of Ahikam [the] son of Shaphan and to men their saying may not you be afraid from serving the Chaldeans remain in the land and serve [the] king of Babylon so it may go well for you.
10 Eu, porém, eis que habito em Mizpah, para estar às ordens dos caldeus que vierem a nós; e vós recolhei o vinho, e as frutas de verão, e o azeite, e metei-os nos vossos vasos, e habitai nas vossas cidades, que já tomastes.
And I here I [will be] dwelling at Mizpah to stand before the Chaldeans who they will come to us and you gather wine and summer fruit and oil and put [them] in vessels your and dwell in cities your which you have taken hold of.
11 Como também todos os judeus que estavam em Moab, e entre os filhos de Ammon, e em Edom, e os que havia em todas aquelas terras, ouviram que o rei de Babilônia havia deixado um resto em Judá, e que havia posto sobre eles a Gedalias, filho de Ahicam, filho de Saphan.
And also all the Jews who [were] in Moab - and among [the] people of Ammon and in Edom and who [were] in all the lands they heard that he had given [the] king of Babylon a remnant to Judah and that he had appointed over them Gedaliah [the] son of Ahikam [the] son of Shaphan.
12 E tornaram todos os judeus de todos os lugares, para onde foram lançados, e vieram à terra de Judá, a Gedalias, a Mizpah; e recolheram vinho e frutas do verão mui abundantes.
And they returned all the Jews from all the places where they had been driven away there and they came [the] land of Judah to Gedaliah Mizpah towards and they gathered wine and summer fruit much exceedingly.
13 Johanan, filho de Careah, e todos os príncipes dos exércitos, que estavam no campo, vieram a Gedalias, a Mizpah.
And Johanan [the] son of Kareah and all [the] commanders of the armies which [were] in the open country they came to Gedaliah Mizpah towards.
14 E disseram-lhe: Porventura bem sabes que Baalis, rei dos filhos de Ammon, enviou a Ishmael, filho de Nethanias, para te tirar a vida. Porém não lhes deu crédito Gedalias, filho de Ahicam.
And they said to him ¿ really do you know that Baalis - [the] king of [the] people of Ammon he has sent Ishmael [the] son of Nethaniah to strike you life and not he believed them Gedaliah [the] son of Ahikam.
15 Todavia Johanan, filho de Careah, falou a Gedalias em segredo, em Mizpah, dizendo: Irei agora, e ferirei a Ishmael, filho de Nethanias, sem que ninguém o saiba: por que razão te tiraria ele a vida, e todo o Judá que se tem congregado a ti seria disperso, e pereceria o resto de Judá?
And Johanan [the] son of Kareah he said to Gedaliah in secrecy at Mizpah saying let me go please and let me strike down Ishmael [the] son of Nethaniah and anyone not he will know why? will he strike you life and will they be scattered all Jews who have gathered to you and will it perish [the] remnant of Judah.
16 Porém disse Gedalias, filho de Ahicam, a Johanan, filho de Careah: Não faças tal coisa; porque falas falso contra Ishmael.
And he said Gedaliah [the] son of Ahikam to Johanan [the] son of Kareah may not (you do *Q(k)*) the thing this for falsehood you [are] speaking concerning Ishmael.
