Isaías 52
1 Desperta desperta, veste-te da tua fortaleza, ó Sião: veste-te dos teus vestidos formosos, ó Jerusalém, cidade santa; porque nunca mais entrará em ti nem incircunciso nem imundo.
Awake, awake! Put on your strength, Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking]. Put on your beautiful garments, Jerusalem [City of peace], the holy city: for from now on the uncircumcised and the unclean will no more come into you.
2 Sacode-te do pó, levanta-te, e assenta-te, ó Jerusalém: solta-te das ataduras de teu pescoço, ó cativa filha de Sião.
Shake yourself from the dust! Arise, sit up, Jerusalem [City of peace]! Release yourself from the bonds of your neck, captive daughter of Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking]!
3 Porque assim diz o Senhor: Por nada fostes vendidos: também sem dinheiro sereis resgatados.
For Adonai says, “You were sold for nothing; and you will be redeemed without money.”
4 Porque assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: O meu povo em tempos passados desceu ao Egito, para peregrinar lá, e a Assyria sem razão o oprimiu.
For thus says 'Adonay Adonai [Lord Yahweh]: “My people went down at the first into Egypt [Abode of slavery] to live there: and the Assyrian has oppressed them without cause.
5 E agora, que tenho eu aqui que fazer? diz o Senhor; pois o meu povo foi tomado sem nenhuma razão: e os que dominam sobre ele o fazem uivar, diz o Senhor; e o meu nome é blasfemado incessantemente todo o dia.
“Now therefore, what do I do here,” says Adonai, “seeing that my people are taken away for nothing? Those who rule over them mock,” says Adonai, “and my name is blasphemed continually all the day.
6 Portanto o meu povo saberá o meu nome, por esta causa, naquele dia; porque eu mesmo sou o que digo: Eis-me aqui.
Therefore my people shall know my name. Therefore they shall know in that day that I am he who speaks. Behold, it is I.”
7 Quão suaves são sobre os montes os pés do que anuncia as boas novas, o que faz ouvir a paz; do que anuncia o bem, que faz ouvir a salvação: do que diz a Sião: O teu Deus reina
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who sh'ma ·hear obey, declares· peace, who brings good news, who sh'ma ·hear obey, proclaims· yishu'ah ·salvation·, who says to Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking], “Your God reigns!”
8 Uma voz dos teus atalaias se ouve, alçam a voz, juntamente exultam; porque olho a olho verão, quando o Senhor tornar a trazer a Sião.
Your watchmen lift up their voice, together they sing; for they shall see eye to eye, when Adonai makes teshuvah ·complete return· to Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking].
9 Clamai cantando, exultai juntamente, desertos de Jerusalém; porque o Senhor consolou o seu povo, remiu a Jerusalém.
Break out into joy, sing together, you waste places of Jerusalem [City of peace]; for Adonai has comforted his people. He has redeemed Jerusalem [City of peace].
10 O Senhor desnudou o seu santo braço perante os olhos de todas as nações; e todos os confins da terra verão a salvação do nosso Deus.
Adonai has made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth have seen the את yishu'ah ·salvation· of our God.
11 Retirai-vos, retirai-vos, saí daí, não toqueis coisa imunda: saí do meio dela, purificai-vos, os que levais os vasos do Senhor.
Depart, depart, go out from there; touch no unclean thing! Go out from among her! Cleanse yourselves, you who carry Adonai’s temple equipment.
12 Porque não sairieis apressadamente, nem vos ireis fugindo; porque o Senhor irá diante de vós, e o Deus de Israel será a vossa retaguarda.
For you shall not go out in haste, neither shall you go by flight: for Adonai will go before you; and the God of Israel [God prevails] will be your rear guard.
13 Eis que o meu servo obrará com prudência: será exaltado, e elevado, e mui sublime.
Behold, my servant will deal wisely. He will be exalted and lifted up, and will be very high.
14 Como pasmaram muitos à vista de ti, de que o seu parecer estava tão desfigurado mais do que o de outro qualquer, e a sua figura mais do que a dos outros filhos dos homens,
Just as many were astonished at you (his appearance was marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men),
15 Assim borrifará muitas nações, e os reis fecharão as suas bocas por causa dele; porque aquilo que não lhes foi anunciado o verão, e aquilo que eles não ouviram o entenderão.
so he will cleanse many nations. Kings will shut their mouths at him: for they will see that which had not been told them; and that which they did not sh'ma ·hear obey· they will consider and understand.
