Isaías 4

1 E sete mulheres naquele dia lançarão mão dum homem, dizendo: Nós comeremos do nosso pão, e nos vestiremos de nossos vestidos: tão somente que sejamos chamadas pelo teu nome; tira o nosso opróbrio.

In that day shall seven women lay hold of one man saying: We will eat our own bread, And wear our own garments, Only let us be called by thy name, And take away our reproach!

2 Naquele dia o Renovo do Senhor será um ornamento e uma glória; e o fruto da terra excelente e formoso para os que escaparem de Israel.

In that day shall the increase of Jehovah be glorious and honorable, And the fruit of the land excellent and beautiful, For them that have escaped of Israel.

3 E será que aquele que ficar de resto em Sião, e o que ficar em Jerusalém, será chamado santo: todo aquele que em Jerusalém está escrito para vida;

All that remain in Zion, And all that are left in Jerusalem, Shall be called holy; Every one that is written down for life in Jerusalem.

4 Quando o Senhor lavar a imundícia das filhas de Sião, e limpar o sangue de Jerusalém do meio dela, com o espírito de juízo, e com o espírito de ardor.

When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, And have removed the blood of Jerusalem from the midst of her, By a spirit of judgment and a spirit of destruction,

5 E criará o Senhor sobre toda a habitação do monte de Sião, e sobre as suas congregações, uma nuvem de dia, e um fumo, e um resplandor de fogo chamejante de noite; porque sobre toda a glória haverá proteção.

Then shall Jehovah create upon the whole extent of mount Zion, and upon her places of assembly, A cloud and smoke by day, And the brightness of a flaming fire by night; Yea, for all that is glorious there shall be a shelter;

6 E haverá um tabernáculo para sombra com o calor do dia: e para refúgio e esconderijo contra o alagamento e contra a chuva.

There shall be a tent by day for a shadow from the heat, And for a refuge and shelter from the storm and rain.
