Oséias 9
1 Não te alegres, ó Israel, até saltar, como os povos; porque pela fornicação abandonaste o teu Deus: amaste a paga de meretriz sobre todas as eiras de trigo.
Israel, nyle thou be glad, nyle thou make ful out ioie as puplis; for thou hast do fornicacioun fro thi God. Thou louedist meede on alle the cornflooris of wheete.
2 A eira e o lagar não os manterão; e o mosto lhe faltará.
The cornfloor and pressour schal not feede hem, and wyn schal lie to hem.
3 Na terra do Senhor não permanecerão; mas Ephraim tornará ao Egito, e na Assyria comerão o imundo.
Thei schulen not dwelle in the lond of the Lord. Effraym turnede ayen in to Egipt, and eet defoulid thing among Assiriens.
4 Não derramarão vinho ao Senhor, nem lhe serão suaves: os seus sacrifícios lhes serão como pão de pranto; todos os que dele comerem serão imundos, porque o seu pão é por sua alma; não entrará na casa do Senhor
Thei schulen not offre wyn to the Lord, and thei schulen not plese hym. The sacrificis of hem ben as breed of mourneris; alle that schulen ete it schulen be defoulid. For the breed of hem is to the lijf of hem; thei schulen not entre in to the hous of the Lord.
5 Que fareis vós no dia da solenidade, e no dia da festa do Senhor?
What schulen ye do in the solempne dai, in the dai of the feeste of the Lord?
6 Porque, eis que eles se foram por causa da destruição: o Egito os recolherá, Memphis os sepultará: o desejável da sua prata as ortigas o possuirão por herança, espinhos haverá nas suas moradas.
For lo! thei ben goon out fro distriyng. Egipt schal gadere hem togidere, Memphis schal birie hem. A nettle schal enherite the desirable siluer of hem, a clote schal be in the tabernaclis of hem.
7 Já chegaram os dias da visitação, já chegaram os dias da retribuição; os de Israel o saberão: o profeta é louco, o homem de espírito é furioso; por causa da abundância da tua iniquidade também abundará o ódio.
Daies of visitacioun ben comun, daies of yeldyng ben comun. Knowe ye, that Israel is a fool, a wood profete, a spiritual man, for the multitude of thi wickidnesse is also the multitude of woodnesse.
8 Ephraim era o vigia com o meu Deus, mas o profeta é como um laço de caçador de aves em todos os seus caminhos, ódio na casa do seu Deus.
The biholdere of Effraym with my God is a profete; a snare of fallyng is maad now on alle the weies of hym, woodnesse is in the hous of his God.
9 Mui profundamente se corromperam, como nos dias de Gibeah: lembrar-se-á das suas injustiças, visitará os pecados deles.
Thei synneden deepli, as in the daies of Gabaa. The Lord schal haue mynde on the wickidnesse of hem, and schal visite the synnes of hem.
10 Achei a Israel como uvas no deserto, vi a vossos pais como a fruta temporã da figueira no seu princípio; porém entraram a Baalpeor, e se apartaram para essa vergonha, e se tornaram abomináveis como aquilo que amaram.

11 Quanto a Ephraim, a sua glória como ave voará desde o nascimento, e desde o ventre, e desde o concebimento.
Effraym as a brid fley awei; the glorye of hem is of childberyng, and of the wombe, and of conseyuyng.
12 Ainda que venham a criar seus filhos, contudo os privarei deles dentre os homens, porque também, ai deles! quando me apartar deles.

13 Ephraim, assim como vi a Tiro, plantada está num lugar deleitoso; mas Ephraim tirará para fora seus filhos para o matador.
Y siy that Effraym was as Tire, foundid in fairnesse; and Effraym schal lede out hise sones to the sleere.
14 Dá-lhes, ó Senhor; que pois lhes darás? dá-lhes uma madre que aborte e seios secos.
Lord, yyue thou to hem; what schalt thou yyue to hem? yyue thou to hem a wombe with out children, and drie tetis.
15 Toda a sua malícia se acha em Gilgal, porque ali os aborreci pela malícia das suas obras: lança-los-ei para fora de minha casa; não os amarei mais: todos os seus príncipes são rebeldes.
Alle the wickidnessis of hem ben in Galgal, for there Y hadde hem hateful; for the malice of her fyndyngis. Y schal caste hem out of myn hous; Y schal not leie to, that Y loue hem. Alle the princes of hem goen awei.
16 Ephraim foi ferido, secou-se a sua raiz; não darão fruto: e, ainda que gerem, todavia matarei os desejáveis do seu ventre.
Effraym is smyten, the roote of hem is dried vp; thei schulen not make fruyt. That thouy thei gendren, Y schal sle the moost louyd thingis of her wombe.
17 O meu Deus os rejeitará, porque não o ouvem, e vagabundos andarão entre as nações.
My God schal caste hem awey, for thei herden not hym; and thei schulen be of vnstable dwellyng among naciouns.
