Hebreus 9
1 Ora também o primeiro tinha ordenanças de culto divino, e um santuário terrestre.
Now that first covenant did indeed have regulations for divine service and the earthly sanctuary.
2 Porque o tabernáculo foi preparado, o primeiro, em que estava o candieiro, e a mesa e os pães da proposição, o que se chama o santuário.
Yes, a tabernacle was set up: the first part, which is called the Holy Place, in which were the lamp stand, the table and the showbread;
3 Mas após o segundo véu estava o tabernáculo, que se chama o santo dos santos,
and behind the second curtain an area called the Holy of Holies,
4 Que tinha o incensário de ouro, e a arca do concerto, coberta de ouro toda em redor: em que estava a talha de ouro, que continha o maná, e a vara de Aarão, que tinha florescido, e as tábuas do concerto;
having a golden censer and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold—in it were a golden jar holding the manna, Aaron's rod that budded, and the stone tablets of the covenant;
5 E sobre a arca os cherubins da glória, que faziam sombra no propiciatório; das quais coisas não falaremos agora particularmente.
while above it were cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat (this is not the place to go into detail about them).
6 Ora, estando estas coisas assim preparadas, a todo o tempo entravam os sacerdotes no primeiro tabernáculo, para cumprir os serviços divinos;
Now when these things had been thus prepared, the priests continually went into the first part, performing the divine services,
7 Mas no segundo só o sumo sacerdote, uma vez no ano, não sem sangue, o qual oferecia por si mesmo e pelas culpas do povo:
but into the second one only the high priest could go, once a year and only with blood, which he offered for himself and for the people's sins of ignorance;
8 Dando nisto a entender o Espírito Santo que ainda o caminho do santuário não estava descoberto enquanto se conservava em pé o primeiro tabernáculo:
the Holy Spirit was making clear that the way into the Most Holy Place was not yet open to the public while the first tabernacle was still in existence.
9 O qual era figura para o tempo de então, em que se ofereciam presentes e sacrifícios, que, quanto à consciência, não podiam aperfeiçoar aquele que fazia o serviço.
It was a figure during the time then present, a time when both gifts and sacrifices were being offered that were incapable of clearing the conscience of the worshiper—
10 Pois consistiam somente em manjares, e bebidas, e várias abluções e justificações da carne, impostas até ao tempo da correção.
they were only about foods and drinks and various ceremonial washings and physical regulations, things imposed until the time of restructuring.
11 Mas, vindo Cristo, o sumo sacerdote dos bens futuros, por um maior e mais perfeito tabernáculo, não feito por mãos, isto é, não desta feitura,
But Christ entered once for all into the real Holy Places, having obtained eternal redemption—He had come as High Priest of the good things that are about to be, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation,
12 Nem por sangue de bodes e bezerros, mas por seu próprio sangue, uma vez entrou no santuário, havendo efetuado uma eterna redenção. (aiōnios g166)
and with His own blood, not that of goats and calves. (aiōnios g166)
13 Porque, se o sangue dos touros e bodes, e a cinza da novilha espargida sobre os imundos, os santifica, quanto à purificação da carne,
For if the blood of bulls and goats, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who had been ceremonially defiled, restored ceremonial purity to the body,
14 Quanto mais o sangue de Cristo, que pelo espírito eterno se ofereceu a si mesmo imaculado a Deus, purificará as vossas consciências das obras mortas para servirdes ao Deus vivo? (aiōnios g166)
how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the Holy Spirit offered Himself unblemished to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (aiōnios g166)
15 E por isso é Mediador do novo Testamento, para que, intervindo a morte para remissão das transgressões que havia debaixo do primeiro testamento, os chamados recebam a promessa da herança eterna. (aiōnios g166)
For this reason He is mediator of a new covenant, so that those who have been called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—since a death has occurred for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant. (aiōnios g166)
16 Porque onde há testamento necessário é que intervenha a morte do testador.
Now where there is a will, the death of the one who made it must be established;
17 Porque o testamento confirma-se nos mortos; porquanto não é válido enquanto vive o testador,
because a will is in force after men are dead, since it never takes effect while the one who made it lives.
18 Pelo que também o primeiro não foi consagrado sem sangue;
Therefore, not even the first covenant was inaugurated without blood;
19 Porque, havendo Moisés relatado a todo o povo todos os mandamentos segundo a lei, tomou o sangue dos bezerros e dos bodes, com água, lã púrpurea e hissope, e aspergiu tanto o mesmo livro como todo o povo,
because when every commandment of the Law had been proclaimed by Moses to all the people, he took the blood of calves and goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the scroll itself and all the people,
20 Dizendo: Este é o sangue do testamento que Deus vos tem mandado.
saying, “This is the blood of the covenant which God has decreed to you.”
21 E semelhantemente aspergiu com sangue o tabernáculo e todos os vasos do ministério.
Then he sprinkled both the tabernacle and all the vessels of the divine service with the blood in the same way.
22 E quase todas as coisas, segundo a lei, se purificam com sangue; e sem derramamento de sangue não se faz remissão.
In fact, according to the Law nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.
23 De sorte que era bem necessário que as figuras das coisas que estão no céu se purificassem com estas coisas; porém as próprias coisas celestiais com sacrifícios melhores do que estes.
So then, it was necessary for the copies of the things in the heavens to be cleansed with such, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than those.
24 Porque Cristo não entrou no santuário feito por mãos, figura do verdadeiro, porém no mesmo céu, para agora comparecer por nós perante a face de Deus
For Christ did not enter into Holy Places made by hands, mere copies of the true ones, but into Heaven itself, now to appear in God's presence on our behalf;
25 Nem também para a si mesmo se oferecer muitas vezes, como o sumo sacerdote cada ano entra no santuário com sangue alheio;
but not in order to offer Himself repeatedly, like the high priest who entered the Most Holy Place year by year with another's blood
26 Doutra maneira, necessário lhe fôra padecer muitas vezes desde a fundação do mundo: mas agora na consumação dos séculos uma vez se manifestou, para aniquilar o pecado pelo sacrifício de si mesmo. (aiōn g165)
—otherwise He would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world; but now, once for all at the end of the ages, He has been revealed to nullify sin by the sacrifice of Himself. (aiōn g165)
27 E, como aos homens está ordenado morrerem uma vez, vindo depois disso o juízo,
Also, inasmuch as men are destined to die but once, after which the judgment,
28 Assim também Cristo, oferecendo-se uma vez para tirar os pecados de muitos, aparecerá a segunda vez, sem pecado, aos que o esperam para salvação.
so the Christ also, having been offered once for all to bear the sins of many—He will appear a second time to those who are eagerly waiting for Him, apart from sin, into salvation.
