Gênesis 9
1 E abençoou Deus a Noé e a seus filhos, e disse-lhes: frutificai e multiplicai-vos, e enchei a terra.
And God blesses Noah and his sons, and says to them, “Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth;
2 E será o vosso temor e o vosso pavor sobre todo o animal da terra, e sobre toda a ave dos céus: tudo o que se move sobre a terra, e todos os peixes do mar, na vossa mão são entregues.
and your fear and your dread is on every beast of the earth, and on every bird of the heavens, on all that creeps on the ground, and on all fishes of the sea—into your hand they have been given.
3 Tudo quanto se move, que é vivente, será para vosso mantimento: tudo vos tenho dado como erva verde.
Every creeping thing that is alive, to you it is for food; as the green herb I have given to you the whole;
4 A carne, porém, com sua vida, isto é, com seu sangue, não comereis.
only flesh in its life—its blood—you do not eat.
5 E certamente requererei o vosso sangue, o sangue das vossas vidas; da mão de todo o animal o requererei: como também da mão do homem, e da mão do irmão de cada um requererei a vida do homem.
And only your blood for your lives do I require; from the hand of every living thing I require it, and from the hand of man, from the hand of every man’s brother I require the life of man;
6 Quem derramar o sangue do homem, pelo homem o seu sangue será derramado: porque Deus fez o homem conforme à sua imagem.
whoever sheds man’s blood, by man is his blood shed: for in the image of God has He made man.
7 Mas vós frutificai e multiplicai-vos: povoai abundantemente a terra, e multiplicai-vos nela.
And you, be fruitful and multiply, teem in the earth, and multiply in it.”
8 E falou Deus a Noé, e a seus filhos com ele, dizendo:
And God speaks to Noah, and to his sons with him, saying,
9 E eu, eis que estabeleço o meu concerto convosco e com a vossa semente depois de vós,
“And I, behold, I am establishing My covenant with you, and with your seed after you,
10 E com toda a alma vivente, que convosco está, de aves, de rezes, e de todo o animal da terra convosco: desde todos que sairam da arca, até todo o animal da terra.
and with every living creature which [is] with you, among bird, among livestock, and among every beast of the earth with you, from all who are going out of the Ark—to every beast of the earth.
11 E eu convosco estabeleço o meu concerto, que não será mais destruída toda a carne pelas águas do dilúvio: e que não haverá mais dilúvio, para destruir a terra.
And I have established My covenant with you, and all flesh is not cut off anymore by waters of a flood, and there is not a flood to destroy the earth anymore.”
12 E disse Deus: Este é o sinal do concerto que ponho entre mim e vós, e entre toda a alma vivente, que está convosco, por gerações eternas.
And God says, “This is a token of the covenant which I am giving between Me and you, and every living creature that [is] with you, to continuous generations;
13 O meu arco tenho posto na nuvem: este será por sinal do concerto entre mim e a terra.
My bow I have given in the cloud, and it has been for a token of a covenant between Me and the earth;
14 E acontecerá que, quando eu trouxer nuvens sobre a terra, aparecerá o arco nas nuvens:
and it has come to pass (in My sending a cloud over the earth) that the bow has been seen in the cloud,
15 Então me lembrarei do meu concerto, que está entre mim e vós, e entre toda a alma vivente de toda a carne: e as águas não se tornarão mais em dilúvio, para destruir toda a carne.
and I have remembered My covenant which is between Me and you, and every living creature among all flesh, and the waters no longer become a flood to destroy all flesh;
16 E estará o arco nas nuvens, e eu o verei, para me lembrar do concerto eterno entre Deus e toda a alma vivente de toda a carne, que está sobre a terra.
and the bow has been in the cloud, and I have seen it—to remember the perpetual covenant between God and every living creature among all flesh which [is] on the earth.”
17 E disse Deus a Noé: Este é o sinal do concerto que tenho estabelecido entre mim e entre toda a carne, que está sobre a terra.
And God says to Noah, “This [is] a token of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that [is] on the earth.”
18 E os filhos de Noé, que da arca sairam, foram Sem, e Cão, e Japhet; e Cão, é o pai de Canaan.
And the sons of Noah who are going out of the Ark are Shem, and Ham, and Japheth; and Ham is father of Canaan.
19 Estes três foram os filhos de Noé; e destes se povoou toda a terra.
These three [are] sons of Noah, and from these has all the earth been overspread.
20 E começou Noé a ser lavrador da terra, e plantou uma vinha:
And Noah remains a man of the ground, and plants a vineyard,
21 E bebeu do vinho, e embebedou-se; e descobriu-se no meio de sua tenda.
and drinks of the wine, and is drunken, and uncovers himself in the midst of the tent.
22 E viu Cão, o pai de Canaan, a nudez do seu pai, e fê-lo saber a ambos seus irmãos fora.
And Ham, father of Canaan, sees the nakedness of his father, and declares to his two brothers outside.
23 Então tomaram Sem e Japhet uma capa, e puseram-na sobre ambos os seus ombros, e indo virados para traz, cobriram a nudez do seu pai, e os seus rostos eram virados, de maneira que não viram a nudez do seu pai.
And Shem takes—Japheth also—the garment, and they place on the shoulder of them both, and go backward, and cover the nakedness of their father; and their faces [are] backward, and their father’s nakedness they have not seen.
24 E despertou Noé do seu vinho, e soube o que seu filho menor lhe fizera.
And Noah awakens from his wine, and knows that which his young son has done to him,
25 E disse: Maldito seja Canaan: servo dos servos seja aos seus irmãos.
and says: “Cursed [is] Canaan, Servant of servants he is to his brothers.”
26 E disse: bendito seja o Senhor Deus de Sem: e seja-lhe Canaan por servo.
And he says: “Blessed of my God YHWH [is] Shem, And Canaan is servant to him.
27 Alargue Deus a Japhet, e habite nas tendas de Sem: e seja-lhe Canaan por servo.
God gives beauty to Japheth, And he dwells in tents of Shem, And Canaan is servant to him.”
28 E viveu Noé, depois do dilúvio, trezentos e cincoênta anos.
And Noah lives after the flood three hundred and fifty years;
29 E foram todos os dias de Noé novecentos e cincoênta anos, e morreu.
and all the days of Noah are nine hundred and fifty years, and he dies.
