1 Este é o livro das gerações de Adão. No dia em que Deus criou o homem, à semelhança de Deus o fez
Thys is the boke of the generacion of man In the daye when God created man and made hym after the symilytude of god
2 Macho e fêmea os criou; e os abençoou, e chamou o seu nome Adão, no dia em que foram criados.
Male and female made he the and called their names man in the daye when they were created.
3 E Adão viveu cento e trinta anos, e gerou um filho à sua semelhança, conforme à sua imagem e chamou o seu nome Seth.
And when Adam was an hundred and thyrty yere old he begat a sonne after hys lycknesse and symilytude: and called hys name Seth.
4 E foram os dias de Adão, depois que gerou a Seth, oitocentos anos: e gerou filhos e filhas.
And the dayes of Adam after he begat Seth were eyght hundred yere and begat sonnes and doughters.
5 E foram todos os dias que Adão viveu, novecentos e trinta anos; e morreu.
and all the dayes of Adam which he lyved were. ix. hundred and. xxx. yere and then he dyed.
6 E viveu Seth cento e cinco anos, e gerou a Enos.
And Seth lyved an hundred and. v. yeres and begat Enos.
7 E viveu Seth, depois que gerou a Enos, oitocentos e sete anos, e gerou filhos e filhas.
And after he had begot Enos he lyved. viij. hundred and. vij. yere and begat sonnes and doughters.
8 E foram todos os dias de Seth novecentos e doze anos; e morreu.
And all the dayes of Seth were. ix. hundred and. xij. yere and dyed.
9 E viveu Enos noventa anos; e gerou a Cainan.
And Enos lyved. lxxxx. yere and begat kenan.
10 E viveu Enos, depois que gerou a Cainan, oitocentos e quinze anos; e gerou filhos e filhas.
And Enos after he begat kenan lyved viij. hundred and. xv. yere and begat sonnes and doughters:
11 E foram todos os dias de Enos novecentos e cinco anos; e morreu.
and all the dayes of Enos were. ix hundred and. v. yere and than he dyed.
12 E viveu Cainan, setenta anos; e gerou a Mahalalel.
And kenan lyued. lxx. yere and begat Mahalaliel.
13 E viveu Cainan, depois que gerou a Mahalalel, oitocentos e quarenta anos; e gerou filhos e filhas.
And kenan after he had begot Mahalaliel lyved. viij. hundred and. xl. yere and begat sonnes and doughters:
14 E foram todos os dias de Cainan novecentos e dez anos; e morreu.
and al the dayes of kenan were. ix. hundred and. x. yere and than he dyed.
15 E viveu Mahalalel sessenta e cinco anos; e gerou a Jared.
And Mahalaliel lyued. lxv. yere and begat Iared.
16 E viveu Mahalalel, depois que gerou a Jared, oitocentos e trinta anos; e gerou filhos e filhas.
And Mahalaliel after he had begot Iared lyved. viij. hundred and. xxx. yere and begat sonnes and doughters:
17 E foram todos os dias de Mahalalel oitocentos e noventa e cinco anos; e morreu.
and all the dayes of Mahalalyell were. viij. hundred nynetye and. v. yeare and than he dyed
18 E viveu Jared cento e sessenta e dois anos; e gerou a Enoch.
And Iared lyved an hundred and. lxij. yere and begat Henoch:
19 E viveu Jared, depois que gerou a Enoch, oitocentos anos; e gerou filhos e filhas.
and Iared lyved after he begat Henoch. viij. hundred yere and begat sonnes and doughters.
20 E foram todos os dias de Jared novecentos e sessenta e dois anos; e morreu.
And all the dayes of Iared were. ix. hundred and. lxij. yere and than he dyed.
21 E viveu Enoch sessenta e cinco anos; e gerou a Methusala.
And Henoch lyved. lxv. yere ad begat Mathusala.
22 E andou Enoch com Deus, depois que gerou a Methusala, trezentos anos; e gerou filhos e filhas.
And Henoch walked wyth god after he had begot Mathusala. iij. hundred yere and begat sonnes and doughters.
23 E foram todos os dias de Enoch trezentos e sessenta e cinco anos.
And all the dayes of Henoch were. iij. hundred and. lxv. yere.
24 E andou Enoch com Deus; e não estava mais; porquanto Deus para si o tomou.
and than Henoch lyved a godly lyfe and was nomore sene for God toke hym away.
25 E viveu Methusala cento e oitenta e sete anos; e gerou a Lamech.
And Mathusala lyved an hundred and lxxxvij. yere and begat Lamech:
26 E viveu Methusala, depois que gerou a Lamech, setecentos e oitenta e dois anos; e gerou filhos e filhas.
and Mathusala after he had begot Lamech lyved. vij. hundred and. lxxxij. yere ad begat sonnes and doughters.
27 E foram todos os dias de Methusala novecentos e sessenta e nove anos; e morreu.
And all the dayes of Methusala were. ix. hundred. lxix yere and than he dyed.
28 E viveu Lamech cento e oitenta e dois anos; e gerou um filho,
And Lamech lyved an hundred. lxxxij. yere and begat a sonne
29 E chamou o seu nome Noé, dizendo: Este nos consolará acerca de nossas obras, e do trabalho de nossas mãos, por causa da terra que o Senhor amaldiçoou.
and called hym Noe sayng. This same shall comforte vs: as concernynge oure worke and sorowe of oure handes which we haue aboute the erthe that the LORde hath cursed.
30 E viveu Lamech, depois que gerou a Noé, quinhentos e noventa e cinco anos; e gerou filhos e filhas.
And Lamech lyved after he had begot Noe v. hundred nynetie and. v. yere and begat sonnes and doughters.
31 E foram todos os dias de Lamech setecentos e setenta e sete anos; e morreu.
And all the dayes of Lamech were. vij. hundred. lxxvij. yere and than he dyed.
32 E era Noé da idade de quinhentos anos; e gerou Noé a Sem, Cão, e Japhet.
And when Noe was. v. hundred yere olde he begat Sem Ham and Iaphet.
