Gênesis 28
1 E Isaac chamou a Jacob, e abençoou-o, e ordenou-lhe, e disse-lhe: Não tomes mulher de entre as filhas de Canaan:
And he summoned Isaac Jacob and he blessed him and he commanded him and he said to him not you must take a wife from [the] daughters of Canaan.
2 Levanta-te, vai a Paddan-aram, à casa de Bethuel, pai de tua mãe, e toma de lá uma mulher das filhas de Labão, irmão de tua mãe;
Arise go Paddan towards Aram [the] house of towards Bethuel [the] father of mother your and take for yourself from there a wife one of [the] daughters of Laban [the] brother of mother your.
3 E Deus Todo-poderoso te abençoe, e te faça frutificar, e te multiplique, para que sejas uma multidão de povos;
And God Almighty may he bless you and may he make fruitful you and may he multiply you and you will become a company of peoples.
4 E te dê abenção de Abraão, a ti e à tua semente contigo, para que em herança possuas a terra de tuas peregrinações, que Deus deu a Abraão
And may he give to you [the] blessing of Abraham to you and to offspring your with you to take possession of you [the] land of sojournings your which he gave God to Abraham.
5 Assim enviou Isaac a Jacob, o qual se foi a Paddan-aram, a Labão, filho de Bethuel arameu, irmão de Rebeca, mãe de Jacob e de Esaú.
And he sent off Isaac Jacob and he went Paddan towards Aram to Laban [the] son of Bethuel the Aramean [the] brother of Rebekah [the] mother of Jacob and Esau.
6 Vendo pois Esaú que Isaac abençoara a Jacob, e o enviara a Paddan-aram, para tomar mulher para si dali, e que, abençoando-o, lhe ordenara, dizendo: Não tomes mulher das filhas de Canaan;
And he saw Esau that he had blessed Isaac Jacob and he had sent off him Paddan towards Aram to take for himself from there a wife when blessed he him and he had commanded to him saying not you must take a wife from [the] daughters of Canaan.
7 E que Jacob obedecera a seu pai e a sua mãe, e se fôra a Paddan-aram;
And he had listened Jacob to father his and to mother his and he had gone Paddan towards Aram.
8 Vendo também Esaú que as filhas de Canaan eram más aos olhos de Isaac seu pai,
And he saw Esau that [were] displeasing [the] daughters of Canaan in [the] eyes of Isaac father his.
9 Foi-se Esaú a Ishmael, e tomou para si por mulher, além das suas mulheres, a Mahalath filha de Ishmael, filho de Abraão, irmã de Nebajoth.
And he went Esau to Ishmael and he took Mahalath - [the] daughter of Ishmael [the] son of Abraham [the] sister of Nebaioth to wives his for himself to a wife.
10 Partiu pois Jacob de Berseba, e foi-se a Haran;
And he went out Jacob from Beer Sheba and he went Haran towards.
11 E chegou a um lugar onde passou a noite, porque já o sol era posto; e tomou uma das pedras daquele lugar, e a pôs por sua cabeceira, e deitou-se naquele lugar,
And he reached the place and he stayed [the] night there for it had gone the sun and he took one of [the] stones of the place and he put [it] [the] place of head his and he lay down in the place that.
12 E sonhou: e eis uma escada era posta na terra, cujo topo tocava nos céus: e eis que os anjos de Deus subiam e desciam por ela;
And he dreamed and there! a stairway [was] placed [the] earth towards and top its [was] reaching the heavens towards and there! [the] angels of God [were] going up and [were] going down on it.
13 E eis que o Senhor estava em cima dela, e disse: Eu sou o Senhor, o Deus de Abraão teu pai, e o Deus de Isaac: esta terra, em que estás deitado, t'a darei a ti e à tua semente:
And there! Yahweh [was] standing on it and he said I [am] Yahweh [the] God of Abraham father your and [the] God of Isaac the land which you [are] lying on it to you I will give it and to offspring your.
14 E a tua semente será como o pó da terra, e estender-se-á ao ocidente, e ao oriente, e ao norte, e ao sul, e em ti e na tua semente serão benditas todas as famílias da terra:
And it will be offspring your like [the] dust of the earth and you will spread out west-ward and east-ward and north-ward and south-ward and they will be blessed by you all [the] clans of the earth and by offspring your.
15 E eis que estou contigo, e te guardarei por onde quer que fores, e te farei tornar a esta terra: porque te não deixarei, até que te haja feito o que te tenho dito.
And here! I [am] with you and I will protect you in every where you will go and I will bring back you to the land this for not I will abandon you until that I have done [that] which I have spoken to you.
16 Acordado pois Jacob do seu sono, disse: Na verdade o Senhor está neste lugar; e eu não o sabia.
And he awoke Jacob from sleep his and he said truly there [is] Yahweh in the place this and I not I realized.
17 E temeu, e disse: Quão terrível é este lugar! Este não é outro lugar senão a casa de Deus; e este é a porta dos céus.
And he was afraid and he said how! awesome [is] the place this [is] not this that except [the] house of God and this [is] [the] gate of the heavens.
18 Então levantou-se Jacob pela manhã de madrugada, e tomou a pedra que tinha posto por sua cabeceira, e a pôs por coluna, e derramou azeite em cima dela.
And he rose early Jacob in the morning and he took the stone which he had put [the] place of head his and he set up it a pillar and he poured oil on top its.
19 E chamou o nome daquele lugar Bethel: o nome porém daquela cidade de antes era Luz.
And he called [the] name of the place that Beth-el and but [was] Luz [the] name of the city to the former [time].
20 E Jacob votou um voto, dizendo: Se Deus for comigo, e me guardar nesta viagem que faço, e me der pão para comer, e vestidos para vestir;
And he vowed Jacob a vow saying if he will be God with me and he will protect me on the journey this which I [am] going and he will give to me food to eat and clothing to wear.
21 E eu em paz tornar à casa de meu pai, o Senhor me será por Deus;
And I will return in peace to [the] house of father my and he will become Yahweh for me God.
22 E esta pedra que tenho posto por coluna será casa de Deus; e de tudo quanto me deres, certamente te darei o dízimo.
And the stone this which I have set up a pillar it will be [the] house of God and all that you will give to me fully I will tithe it to you.
