Esdras 2
1 Estes são os filhos da província, que subiram do cativeiro, dos transportados, que Nabucodonosor, rei de Babilônia, tinha transportado a Babilônia, e tornaram a Jerusalém e a Judá, cada um para a sua casa;
And these [are] sons of the province who are going up—of the captives of the expulsion that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon removed to Babylon, and they return to Jerusalem and Judah, each to his city—
2 Os quais vieram com Zorobabel, Josué, Nehemias, Seraias, Reelaias, mardocheu, Bilsan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum e Baana. O número dos homens do povo de Israel:
who have come in with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:
3 Os filhos de Paros, dois mil, cento e setenta e dois.
sons of Parosh, two thousand one hundred seventy-two;
4 Os filhos de Sephtias, trezentos e setenta e dois.
sons of Shephatiah, three hundred seventy-two;
5 Os filhos de Arah, setecentos e setenta e cinco.
sons of Arah, seven hundred seventy-five;
6 Os filhos de Pahath-moab, dos filhos de Jesua-joab, dois mil, oitocentos e doze.
sons of Pahath-Moab, of the sons of Jeshua [and] Joab, two thousand eight hundred and twelve;
7 Os filhos de Elam, mil, duzentos e cincoênta e quatro.
sons of Elam, one thousand two hundred fifty-four;
8 Os filhos de Zatthu, novecentos e quarenta e cinco.
sons of Zattu, nine hundred and forty-five;
9 Os filhos de Zaccai, setecentos e sessenta.

10 Os filhos de Bani, seiscentos e quarenta e dois.

11 Os filhos de Bebai, seiscentos e vinte e três.

28 Os homens de Bethel e Ai, duzentos e vinte e três.

29 Os filhos de Nebo, cincoênta e dois.

30 Os filhos de Magbis, cento e cincoênta e seis.
sons of Magbish, one hundred fifty-six;
31 Os filhos do outro Elam, mil, duzentos e cincoênta e quatro.
sons of another Elam, one thousand two hundred fifty-four;
32 Os filhos de Harim, trezentos e vinte.
sons of Harim, three hundred and twenty;
33 Os filhos de Lod, Hadid e Ono, setecentos e vinte e cinco.

34 Os filhos de Jericó, trezentos e quarenta e cinco.

35 Os filhos de Senaa, três mil, seiscentos e trinta.

36 Os sacerdotes: os filhos de Jedaias, da casa de Jesua, novecentos e setenta e três.
The priests: sons of Jedaiah, of the house of Jeshua, nine hundred seventy-three;
37 Os filhos de Immer, mil e cincoênta e dois.
sons of Immer, one thousand fifty-two;
38 Os filhos de Pashur, mil, duzentos e quarenta e sete.
sons of Pashhur, one thousand two hundred forty-seven;
39 Os filhos de Harim, mil e dezesete.
sons of Harim, one thousand and seventeen.
40 Os levitas: os filhos de Jesua e Kadmiel, dos filhos de Hodavias, setenta e quatro.
The Levites: sons of Jeshua and Kadmiel, of the sons of Hodaviah, seventy-four.
41 Os cantores: os filhos de Asaph, cento e vinte e oito.
The singers: sons of Asaph, one hundred twenty-eight.
42 Os filhos dos porteiros: os filhos de Sallum, os filhos de Ater, os filhos de Talmon, os filhos de Akkub, os filhos de Hatita, os filhos de Sobai: por todos, cento e trinta e nove.
Sons of the gatekeepers: sons of Shallum, sons of Ater, sons of Talmon, sons of Akkub, sons of Hatita, sons of Shobai, the whole [are] one hundred thirty-nine.

Sons of the servants of Solomon: sons of Sotai, sons of Sophereth, sons of Peruda,
56 Os filhos de Jaala, os filhos de Darkon, os filhos de Giddel,
sons of Jaalah, sons of Darkon, sons of Giddel,
57 Os filhos de Sephatias, os filhos de Hattil, os filhos de Pochereth-hat-sebaim, os filhos de Ami.
sons of Shephatiah, sons of Hattil, sons of Pochereth of Zebaim, sons of Ami.
58 Todos os nethineos, e os filhos dos servos de Salomão, trezentos e noventa e dois.
All the Nethinim, and the sons of the servants of Solomon [are] three hundred ninety-two.
59 Também estes subiram de Tel-melah e Tel-harsa, Cherub, Addan e Immer: porém não puderam mostrar a casa de seus pais, e sua linhagem, se de Israel eram.
And these [are] those going up from Tel-Melah, Tel-Harsa, Cherub, Addan, Immer, and they have not been able to declare the house of their fathers, and their seed, whether they [are] of Israel:
60 Os filhos de Dalaias, os filhos de Tobias, os filhos de Nekoda, seiscentos e cincoênta e dois.
sons of Delaiah, sons of Tobiah, sons of Nekoda, six hundred fifty-two.
61 E dos filhos dos sacerdotes: os filhos de Habaias, os filhos de Kos, os filhos de Barzillai, que tomou mulher das filhas de Barzillai, o gileadita, e que foi chamado do seu nome.
And of the sons of the priests: sons of Habaiah, sons of Koz, sons of Barzillai (who took a wife from the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and is called by their name);
62 Estes buscaram o seu registro entre os que estavam registrados nas genealogias, mas não se acharam nelas; pelo que por imundos foram rejeitados do sacerdócio.
these have sought their register among those reckoning themselves by genealogy, and they have not been found, and they are redeemed from the priesthood,
63 E o tirsatha lhes disse que não comessem das coisas sagradas, até que houvesse sacerdote com Urim e com tumim.
and the Tirshatha says to them that they do not eat of the most holy things until the standing up of a priest with [the] Lights and with [the] Perfections.
64 Toda esta congregação junta foi, quarenta e dois mil trezentos e sessenta,
All the assembly together [is] forty-two thousand three hundred sixty,
65 A fora os seus servos e as suas servas, que foram sete mil, trezentos e trinta e sete: também tinha duzentos cantores e cantoras.
apart from their servants and their handmaids; these [are] seven thousand three hundred thirty-seven: and of them [are] two hundred male and female singers.
66 Os seus cavalos, setecentos e trinta e seis: os seus mulos, duzentos e quarenta e cinco;
Their horses [are] seven hundred thirty-six, their mules, two hundred forty-five,
67 Os seus camelos, quatrocentos e trinta e cinco: os jumentos, seis mil, setecentos e vinte.
their camels, four hundred thirty-five, donkeys, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
68 E alguns dos chefes dos pais, vindo à casa do Senhor, que habita em Jerusalém, deram voluntárias ofertas para a casa de Deus, para a fundarem no seu lugar.
And some of the heads of the fathers in their coming to the house of YHWH that [is] in Jerusalem, have offered willingly for the house of God, to establish it on its base;
69 Conforme ao seu poder, deram para o tesouro da obra, em ouro, sessenta e um mil dracmas, e em prata cinco mil libras, e cem vestes sacerdotais.
according to their power they have given to the treasure of the work; of gold, sixty-one thousand drams, and of silver, five thousand pounds, and of priests’ coats, one hundred.
70 E habitaram os sacerdotes e os levitas, e alguns do povo, tanto os cantores, como os porteiros, e os nethineos, nas suas cidades; como também todo o Israel nas suas cidades.
And the priests dwell, and the Levites, and of the people, and the singers, and the gatekeepers, and the Nethinim, in their cities; even all Israel in their cities.
