Ezequiel 7
1 Depois veio a palavra do Senhor a mim, dizendo:
Moreover, the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:
2 E tu, ó filho do homem, assim diz o Senhor Jehovah acerca da terra de Israel: Vem o fim, o fim vem sobre os quatro cantos da terra.
Thou son of man, thus saith the Lord Jehovah concerning the land of Israel: —
3 Agora vem o fim sobre ti, porque enviarei sobre ti a minha ira, e te julgarei conforme os teus caminhos, e trarei sobre ti todas as tuas abominações.
The end cometh, the end cometh, Upon the four corners of the land! Now cometh the end upon thee! For I will send my anger upon thee, And will judge thee according to thy ways, And will recompense upon thee all thine abominations.
4 E não te poupará o meu olho, nem me apiedarei de ti, mas porei sobre ti os teus caminhos, e as tuas abominações estarão no meio de ti: e sabereis que eu sou o Senhor.
And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity; But I will recompense thy ways upon thee, And thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee; And ye shall know that I am Jehovah.
5 Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Um mal, eis que um só mal vem.
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: An evil, an unheard-of evil, behold, it cometh!
6 Vem o fim, o fim vem, despertou-se contra ti; eis que vem.
The end cometh, the end cometh! It awaketh against thee, behold, it cometh!
7 Vem a manhã a ti, ó habitador da terra. Vem o tempo; chegado é o dia da turbação, e não há echo nos montes.
Thy fate cometh upon thee, thou that dwellest in the land! The time is come, The day of tumult is near, When no sound of joy shall be upon the mountains.
8 Agora depressa derramarei o meu furor sobre ti, e cumprirei a minha ira contra ti, e te julgarei conforme os teus caminhos, e porei sobre ti todas as tuas abominações.
Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon thee, And accomplish mine anger against thee; And I will judge thee according to thy ways, And recompense upon thee all thine abominations.
9 E não te poupará o meu olho, nem me apiedarei de ti; conforme os teus caminhos carregarei sobre ti, e as tuas abominações estarão no meio de ti; e sabereis que eu sou o Senhor, que firo
And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity; I will recompense thee according to thy ways, And thine abominations shall come upon thee; And ye shall know that I, Jehovah, smite you.
10 Eis aqui o dia, eis que vem; já saiu a manhã, já floresceu a vara, já reverdeceu a soberba.
Behold, the day, behold, it cometh! The destiny draweth near; The rod hath blossomed, pride hath flourished.
11 A violência se levantou para vara de impiedade: nada restará deles, nem da sua multidão, nem do seu arroido, nem haverá lamentação por eles.
Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness; None of them shall remain, none of their multitude, none of their crowd; Nor shall there be wailing for them.
12 Vem o tempo, já é chegado o dia; o que compra não se alegre, e o que vende não se entristeça: porque a ira ardente está sobre toda a multidão deles.
The time cometh, the day draweth near! Let not the buyer rejoice, Nor the seller mourn; For wrath is against their whole multitude.
13 Porque o que vende não tornará a possuir o que vendeu, ainda que a vida deles estivesse entre os viventes; porque a visão não tornará para traz sobre toda a sua multidão; nem ninguém esforçará a sua vida com a sua iniquidade.
For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, Though he be yet alive; For the vision against their whole multitude shall not return void, And none that liveth in his iniquity shall strengthen himself
14 Já tocaram a trombeta, e tudo prepararam, porém não há quem vá à peleja, porque sobre toda a sua multidão está a minha ardente ira.
“Blow ye the trumpet, and let all be ready!” Yet none goeth to the battle; For mine anger is against their whole multitude.
15 Fora a espada, e dentro a peste e a fome: o que estiver no campo morrerá à espada, e o que estiver na cidade a fome e a peste o consumirão.
The sword is without, and pestilence and famine within; He that is in the field shall die by the sword; And he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.
16 E escaparão os que escaparem deles, porém estarão pelos montes, como pombas dos vales, todos gemendo, cada um por causa da sua maldade.
And those of them that escape shall be upon the mountains like doves of the valleys, All of them mourning, every one for his iniquity.
17 Todas as mãos se enfraquecerão, e todos os joelhos escorrerão em águas.
All hands shall be feeble, And all knees shall flow with water.
18 E se cingirão de sacos, e os cobrirá o tremor: e sobre todos os rostos haverá vergonha, e sobre todas as suas cabeças calva.
They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, And horror shall cover them. And upon all their faces shall be shame, And upon all their heads baldness.
19 A sua prata lançarão pelas ruas, e o seu ouro será como imundícia; nem a sua prata nem o seu ouro os poderá livrar no dia do furor do Senhor: não fartarão eles a sua alma, nem lhes encherão as entranhas, porque isto foi o tropeço da sua maldade
Their silver shall they cast into the streets, And their gold shall be as an unclean thing. Their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them In the day of the wrath of Jehovah; Their hunger shall not be satisfied, Nor their body filled with it; For it was the stumbling-block of their iniquity.
20 E a glória do seu ornamento ele a pôs em magnificência, porém fizeram nela imagens das suas abominações e coisas detestáveis: por isso eu lha tenho feito coisa imunda.
For the beauty of their ornaments they turned into pride, And the images of their abominations and of their detestable things they made with it; Therefore will I make it to them as an unclean thing.
21 E a entregarei na mão dos estranhos por preza, e aos ímpios da terra por despojo: e a profanarão.
And I will give it into the hands of strangers for a prey, And to the wicked of the earth for a spoil, And they shall pollute it.
22 E desviarei deles o meu rosto, e profanarão o meu lugar oculto; porque entrarão nele saqueadores, e o profanarão.
And I will turn my face from them, So that my secret place shall be polluted; Robbers shall enter into it, and pollute it.
23 Faze uma cadeia, porque a terra está cheia de juízo de sangue, e a cidade está cheia de violência.
Make a chain! For the land is full of blood-guiltiness, And the city is full of violence.
24 E farei vir os péssimos de entre as nações, e possuirão as suas casas: e farei cessar a arrogância dos valentes, e os que os santificam serão profanados.
Therefore will I bring the most cruel among the nations, And they shall possess your houses; I will also make the pride of the strong to cease, And their holy places shall be defiled.
25 Vem a destruição, e buscarão a paz, porém não a há
Destruction cometh; And they shall seek peace, and not find it.
26 Miséria sobre miséria virá, e se levantará rumor sobre rumor: então buscarão do profeta uma visão, porém do sacerdote perecerá a lei como também dos anciãos o conselho.
Calamity shall come upon calamity, And rumor shall be upon rumor; And they shall seek a vision from the prophet in vain; Instruction shall perish from the priests, And counsel from the elders.
27 O rei lamentará, e o príncipe se vestirá de assolação, e as mãos do povo da terra se conturbarão; conforme o seu caminho lhes farei, e com os seus juízos os julgarei; e saberão que eu sou o Senhor
The king shall mourn, And the prince shall be clothed with amazement; And the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled. I will do to them according to their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them, And they shall know that I am Jehovah.
