Ezequiel 32

1 E sucedeu que, no ano duodécimo, no mês duodécimo, ao primeiro do mes, veio a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:

And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, on the first day of the month, that the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:

2 Filho do homem, levanta uma lamentação sobre faraó, rei do Egito, e dize-lhe: semelhante eras a um filho de leão entre as nações, e tu foste como um dragão nos mares, e trasbordavas os teus rios, e turbavas as águas com os teus pés, e enlameavas os seus rios.

Son of man, take up a lamentation over Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, and say to him: —Thou art like a young lion among the nations; Thou art like a dragon in the seas; And thou camest forth into thy rivers, And troubledst the waters with thy feet, And didst disturb their rivers.

3 Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Portanto, estenderei sobre ti a minha rede com ajuntamento de muitos povos, e te farão subir na minha rede.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will therefore spread my net over thee, Amidst an assembly of many nations; And they shall draw thee up in my net.

4 Então te deixarei em terra; sobre a face do campo te lançarei, e farei morar sobre ti todas as aves do céu, e fartarei de ti os animais de toda a terra.

And I will throw thee upon the land, I will cast thee forth upon the open field, And I will cause all the birds of heaven to remain upon thee. And I will fill the beasts of the whole earth with thee;

5 E porei as tuas carnes sobre os montes, e encherei os vales da tua altura.

And I will lay thy flesh upon the mountains, And fill the valleys with thy heaps.

6 E a terra onde nadas regarei com o teu sangue até aos montes; e as correntes se encherão de ti.

And I will water the land in which thou swimmest with thy blood, even to the mountains, And the streams shall be full of thee.

7 E, apagando-te eu, cobrirei os céus, e enegrecerei as suas estrelas: ao sol encobrirei com uma nuvem, e a lua não deixará resplandecer a sua luz.

And I will cover the heavens, when I quench thee, And make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, And the moon shall not give her light.

8 Todas as brilhantes luzes do céu enegrecerei sobre ti, e trarei trevas sobre a tua terra, diz o Senhor Jehovah.

All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, And bring darkness upon thy land, Saith the Lord Jehovah.

9 E farei vexar o coração de muitos povos, quando eu levar a tua destruição entre as nações, às terras que não conheceste.

And I will grieve the hearts of many nations, When I bring thy destruction among the nations, In lands which thou knowest not.

10 E farei com que muitos povos fiquem pasmados de ti, e os seus reis tremam em grande maneira, quando eu brandir a minha espada ante os seus rostos; e estremecerão a cada momento, cada um pela sua vida, no dia da tua queda.

Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, And their kings shall shudder on account of thee, When I brandish my sword before them; And they shall tremble every moment, every one for his life, in the day of thy fall.

11 Porque assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: A espada do rei de Babilônia virá sobre ti.

For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee;

12 Farei cair a tua multidão com as espadas dos valentes, que são todos os mais formidáveis das gentes; e destruirão a soberba do Egito, e toda a sua multidão será perdida.

By the swords of the mighty will I cause thy multitude to fall, All of them the terrible of the nations. And they shall bring to nothing the pride of Egypt, And all her multitude shall be destroyed.

13 E destruirei todos os seus animais de sobre as muitas águas; nem as turbará mais pé de homem, nem as turbarão unhas de animais.

I will also destroy all her beasts From beside the great waters; Neither shall the foot of man trouble them any more, Nor shall the hoofs of beasts trouble them.

14 Então farei profundar as suas águas, e farei correr os seus rios como o azeite, diz o Senhor Jehovah.

Then will I make their waters clear, And cause their rivers to run like oil, Saith the Lord Jehovah,

15 Quando eu tornar a terra do Egito em assolação, e a terra for assolada em sua plenitude, e quando ferir a todos os que habitam nela, então saberão que eu sou o Senhor.

When I shall make the land of Egypt desolate, And the country shall be destitute of all that was therein, When I shall smite all that dwell therein, That they may know that I am Jehovah.

16 Esta é a lamentação, segundo a qual lamentarão; as filhas das nações assim lamentarão; sobre o Egito e sobre toda a sua multidão assim lamentarão, diz o Senhor Jehovah.

This is the lamentation which they shall utter; the daughters of the nations shall utter it. For Egypt and for all her multitude shall they utter it, saith the Lord Jehovah.

17 E sucedeu que, no ano duodécimo, aos quinze do mes, veio a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:

It came to pass also in the twelfth year, [[in the twelfth month, ]] on the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:

18 Filho do homem, pranteia sobre a multidão do Egito, e faze-a descer, a ela e às filhas das nações magníficas, à terra mais baixa, aos que descem à cova.

Son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and cast her down, even her and the daughters of the famous nations, to the lower parts of the earth, to them that have gone down to the pit.

19 A quem sobrepujas tu em ser aprazível? desce, e deita-te com os incircuncisos.

Art thou more beautiful than another? Come down and be laid with the uncircumcised!

20 No meio daqueles que foram traspassados à espada cairão; à espada está entregue; arrastai-a e a toda a sua multidão.

They shall fall in the midst of them that are slain by the sword. The sword is given; drag her away and all her multitudes!

21 Os mais poderosos dos valentes lhe falarão desde o meio do inferno, com os que a soccorrem: desceram, jazeram os incircuncisos traspassados à espada. (Sheol h7585)

The mightiest heroes from the midst of the pit shall speak to him and his helpers; For they are gone down, they lie uncircumcised, slain by the sword. (Sheol h7585)

22 Ali está Assur com todo o seu ajuntamento; em redor dele estão os seus sepulcros; todos eles foram traspassados e cairam à espada.

There is Assyria and all her company; Her graves are round about her; All of them are slain, fallen by the sword;

23 Cujos sepulcros foram postos nos lados da cova, e o seu ajuntamento está em redor do seu sepulcro: todos foram traspassados, e cairam à espada, os quais tinham causado espanto na terra dos viventes.

Her grave is made in the depths of the pit, And her company is round about her grave, All of them slain, fallen by the sword, They who caused terror in the land of the living.

24 Ali está Elam com toda a sua multidão em redor do seu sepulcro: todos eles foram traspassados, e cairam à espada, os quais desceram incircuncisos às mais baixas partes da terra, os quais causaram terror na terra dos viventes, e levaram a sua vergonha com os que desceram à cova

There is Elam and all her company round about her grave, All of them slain, fallen by the sword; They are gone down uncircumcised to the lower parts of the earth, Who caused terror in the land of the living; They bear their shame with them that have gone down to the pit.

25 No meio dos traspassados lhe puseram uma cama entre toda a sua multidão; ao redor dele estão os seus sepulcros: todos eles são incircuncisos, traspassados à espada; porque causaram terror na terra dos viventes, e levaram a sua vergonha com os que desceram à cova; no meio dos traspassados foi posto.

Among the slain have they set her a bed with all her multitude; Her graves are round about her, All of them slain, uncircumcised, by the sword. Though they caused terror in the land of the living, Yet they bear their shame with them that have gone down to the pit; They are laid in the midst of the slain.

26 Ali esta Mesech e Tubal com toda a sua multidão; ao redor deles estão os seus sepulcros: todos eles são incircuncisos, e traspassados à espada, porquanto causaram terror na terra dos viventes.

There is Meshech, Tubal, and all their multitude; Their graves are around them; All of them slain, uncircumcised, by the sword, Though they caused terror in the land of the living.

27 Porém não jazeram com os valentes que cairam dos incircuncisos, os quais desceram ao inferno com as suas armas de guerra e puseram as suas espadas debaixo das suas cabeças; e a sua iniquidade está sobre os seus ossos, porquanto eram o terror dos heroes na terra dos viventes. (Sheol h7585)

Shall they not lie with the mighty of the uncircumcised that are fallen, Who have gone down to the pit with their weapons of war, Having their swords laid under their heads, And their iniquity resting upon their bones, Though they were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living? (Sheol h7585)

28 Também tu serás quebrado no meio dos incircuncisos, e jazerás com os que foram traspassados à espada.

And thou also shalt be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, And shalt lie down with them that are slain by the sword.

29 Ali está Edom, os seus reis e todos os seus príncipes, que com o seu poder foram postos com os que foram traspassados à espada; estes jazem com os incircuncisos e com os que desceram à cova.

There is Edom, her kings and all her princes, Who in their might are laid with them that are slain by the sword; They lie down with the uncircumcised, With them that have gone down to the pit.

30 Ali estão os príncipes do norte, todos eles, e todos os sidônios, que desceram com os traspassados, envergonhados com o terror causado pelo seu poder; e jazem incircuncisos com os que foram traspassados à espada, e levam a sua vergonha com os que desceram à cova.

There are the princes of the North, All of them, and all the Sidonians, Who have gone down to the slain; In the midst of the terror of their might they are put to shame; They lie down uncircumcised with them that are slain by the sword, And bear their shame with them that have gone down to the pit.

31 Faraó os verá, e se consolará com toda a sua multidão, os traspassados à espada, faraó, e todo o seu exército, diz o Senhor Jehovah.

Pharaoh shall see them, And shall comfort himself over all his multitude; Even Pharaoh and all his army are slain by the sword, Saith the Lord Jehovah.

32 Porque também eu dei o meu espanto na terra dos viventes; pelo que jazerá no meio dos incircuncisos, com os traspassados à espada, faraó e toda a sua multidão, diz o Senhor Jehovah.

Though I suffered him to spread terror in the land of the living, Yet is he laid in the midst of the uncircumcised, With them that are slain by the sword, Even Pharaoh and all his multitude, Saith the Lord Jehovah.
