Ezequiel 28
1 E veio a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:
The word of the Lord came againe vnto me, saying,
2 Filho do homem, dize ao príncipe de Tiro: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Porquanto se eleva o teu coração, e dizes: Eu sou Deus, na cadeira de Deus me assento no meio dos mares (sendo tu homem, e não Deus), e estimas o teu coração como se fôra o coração de Deus
Sonne of man, say vnto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saieth the Lord God, Because thine heart is exalted, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God in ye mids of the sea, yet thou art but a man and not God, and though thou didest thinke in thine heart, that thou wast equall with God,
3 Eis que mais sábio és que Daniel: nada há de oculto que se possa esconder de ti.
Behold, thou art wiser then Daniel: there is no secrete, that they can hide from thee.
4 Pela tua sabedoria e pelo teu entendimento alcançaste o teu poder, e adquiriste ouro e prata nos teus tesouros.
With thy wisedome and thine vnderstanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten golde and siluer into thy treasures.
5 Pela extensão da tua sabedoria no teu comércio aumentaste o teu poder; e eleva-se o teu coração por causa do teu poder;
By thy great wisedome and by thine occupying hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted vp because of thy riches.
6 Portanto, assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Porquanto estimas o teu coração, como se fôra o coração de Deus
Therefore thus sayeth the Lord God, Because thou didest thinke in thine heart, that thou wast equall with God,
7 Por isso eis que eu trarei sobre ti estranhos, os mais formidáveis dentre as nações, os quais desembainharão as suas espadas contra a formosura da tua sabedoria, e mancharão o teu resplandor.
Behold, therefore I wil bring strangers vpon thee, euen the terrible nations: and they shall drawe their swordes against the beautie of thy wisedome, and they shall defile thy brightnes.
8 Á cova te farão descer, e morrerás da morte dos traspassados no meio dos mares.
They shall cast thee downe to the pit, and thou shalt die the death of them, that are slaine in the middes of the sea.
9 Porventura pois de alguma maneira dirás diante daquele que te matar: Eu sou Deus; sendo tu homem, e não Deus, na mão do que te traspassa?
Wilt thou say then before him, that slayeth thee, I am a god? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hands of him that slayeth thee.
10 Da morte dos incircuncisos morrerás, por mão dos estranhos; porque eu o falei, diz o Senhor Jehovah.
Thou shalt die the death of the vncircumcised by the hands of stragers: for I haue spoken it, sayth the Lord God.
11 Veio mais a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:
Moreouer the word of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
12 Filho do homem, levanta uma lamentação sobre o rei de Tiro, e dize-lhe: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Tu és o selador da soma, cheio de sabedoria e perfeito em formosura.
Sonne of man, take vp a lamentation vpon the King of Tyrus, and say vnto him, Thus sayeth the Lord God, Thou sealest vp the summe, and art full of wisedome and perfite in beautie.
13 Estavas no Éden, jardim de Deus, toda a pedra preciosa era a tua cobertura, sardônia, topázio, diamante, turqueza, onyx, jaspe, safira, carbúnculo, esmeralda e ouro: a obra dos teus tambores e dos teus pifaros estava em ti; no dia em que foste criado foram preparados.
Thou hast ben in Eden the garden of God: euery precious stone was in thy garment, the rubie, the topaze and the diamonde, the chrysolite, the onix, and the iasper, the saphir, emeraude, and the carbuncle and golde: the woorkemanship of thy timbrels, and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
14 Tu eras o cherubim, ungido para cobridor, e te estabeleci: no monte Santo de Deus estavas, no meio das pedras afogueadas andavas.
Thou art the anointed Cherub, that couereth, and I haue set thee in honour: thou wast vpon the holy mountaine of God: thou hast walked in the middes of the stones of fire.
15 Perfeito eras nos teus caminhos, desde o dia em que foste criado, até que se achou iniquidade em ti.
Thou wast perfite in thy wayes from the day that thou wast created, till iniquitie was found in thee.
16 Na multiplicação do teu comércio encheram o teu interior de violência, e pecaste; pelo que te lançarei profanado do monte de Deus, e te farei perecer, ó cherubim cobridor, do meio das pedras afogueadas.
By the multitude of thy marchandise, they haue filled the middes of thee with crueltie, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as prophane out of the mountaine of God: and I will destroy thee, O couering Cherub from the mids of the stones of fire.
17 Elevou-se o teu coração por causa da tua formosura, corrompeste a tua sabedoria por causa do teu resplandor; por terra te lancei, diante dos reis te pus, para que olhem para ti.
Thine heart was lifted vp because of thy beautie, and thou hast corrupted thy wisedome by reason of thy brightnes: I wil cast thee to ye grounde: I will lay thee before Kinges that they may beholde thee.
18 Pela multidão das tuas iniquidades, pela injustiça do teu comércio profanaste os teus santuários: eu pois fiz sair do meio de ti um fogo, que te consumiu a ti, e te tornei em cinza sobre a terra, aos olhos de todos os que te veem.
Thou hast defiled thy sanctification by the multitude of thine iniquities, and by the iniquitie of thy marchandise: therefore wil I bring forth a fire from the mids of thee, which shall deuoure thee: and I wil bring thee to ashes vpon the earth, in the sight of all them that beholde thee.
19 Todos os que te conhecem entre os povos estão espantados de ti; em grande espanto te tornaste, e nunca mais serás para sempre.
All they that knowe thee among the people, shalbe astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terrour, and neuer shalt thou be any more.
20 E veio a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:
Againe, the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
21 Filho do homem, dirige o teu rosto contra Sidon, e profetiza contra ela,
Sonne of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesie against it,
22 E dize: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Eis-me contra ti, ó Sidon, e serei glorificado no meio de ti; e saberão que eu sou o Senhor, quando nela executar juízos e nela me santificar.
And say, Thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I come against thee, O Zidon, and I will be glorified in the mids of thee: and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall haue executed iudgements in her, and shalbe sanctified in her.
23 Porque enviarei contra ela a peste, e o sangue nas suas ruas, e os traspassados cairão no meio dela, à espada, estando em roda contra ela; e saberão que eu sou o Senhor.
For I wil send into her pestilence, and blood into her streetes, and the slaine shall fall in the middes of her: the enemie shall come against her with the sword on euery side, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
24 E a casa de Israel nunca mais terá espinho que a roce, nem espinho que cause dor, de todos os que de ao redor deles os roubam; e saberão que eu sou o Senhor Jehovah.
And they shalbe no more a pricking thorne vnto the house of Israel, nor any grieuous thorne of all that are round about them, and despised them, and they shall knowe that I am the Lord God.
25 Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Quando eu congregar a casa de Israel dentre os povos entre os quais estão espalhados, e eu me santificar entre eles, perante os olhos das nações, então habitarão na sua terra que dei a meu servo, a Jacob.
Thus saith the Lord God, When I shall haue gathered the house of Israel from the people where they are scattered, and shalbe sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwel in the land, that I haue giuen to my seruant Iaakob.
26 E habitarão nela seguros, e edificarão casas, e plantarão vinhas, e habitarão seguros, quando eu executar juízos contra todos os que roubam nos seus contornos; e saberão que eu sou o Senhor seu Deus
And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall builde houses, and plant vineyards: yea, they shall dwell safely, when I haue executed iudgements vpon al round about them that despise them, and they shall knowe that I am the Lord their God.
