Êxodo 6

1 Então disse o Senhor a Moisés: Agora verás o que hei de fazer a faraó: porque por uma mão poderosa os deixará ir, sim, por uma mão poderosa os lançará de sua terra.

And the Lord said to Moses, Now you will see what I am about to do to Pharaoh; for by a strong hand he will be forced to let them go, driving them out of his land because of my outstretched arm.

2 Falou mais Deus a Moisés, e disse: Eu sou o Senhor,

And God said to Moses, I am Yahweh:

3 E eu apareci a Abraão, a Isaac, e a Jacob, como Deus o Todo-poderoso: mas pelo meu nome, o Senhor, não lhes fui perfeitamente conhecido.

I let myself be seen by Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, as God, the Ruler of all; but they had no knowledge of my name Yahweh.

4 E também estabeleci o meu concerto com eles, para dar-lhes a terra de Canaan, a terra de suas peregrinações, na qual foram peregrinos.

And I made an agreement with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their wanderings.

5 E também tenho ouvido o gemido dos filhos de Israel, aos quais os egípcios fazem servir, e me lembrei do meu concerto.

And truly my ears are open to the cry of the children of Israel whom the Egyptians keep under their yoke; and I have kept in mind my agreement.

6 Portanto dize aos filhos de Israel: Eu sou o Senhor, e vos tirarei de debaixo das cargas dos egípcios, e vos resgatarei com braço estendido e com juízos grandes.

Say then to the children of Israel, I am Yahweh, and I will take you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians, and make you safe from their power, and will make you free by the strength of my arm after great punishments.

7 E eu vos tomarei por meu povo, e serei vosso Deus; e sabereis que eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus, que vos tiro de debaixo das cargas dos egípcios;

And I will take you to be my people and I will be your God; and you will be certain that I am the Lord your God, who takes you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians.

8 E eu vos levarei à terra, acerca da qual levantei minha mão, que a daria a Abraão, a Isaac, e a Jacob, e vo-la darei por herança, eu o Senhor.

And I will be your guide into the land which I made an oath to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it to you for your heritage: I am Yahweh.

9 Deste modo falou Moisés aos filhos de Israel, mas eles não ouviram a Moisés, por causa da ancia do espírito e da dura servidão.

And Moses said these words to the children of Israel, but they gave no attention to him, because of the grief of their spirit and the cruel weight of their work.

10 Falou mais o Senhor a Moisés, dizendo:

And the Lord said to Moses,

11 Entra, e fala a faraó rei do Egito, que deixe sair os filhos de Israel da sua terra.

Go in and say to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, that he is to let the children of Israel go out of his land.

12 Moisés, porém, falou perante o Senhor, dizendo: Eis que os filhos de Israel me não tem ouvido; como pois faraó me ouvirá? também eu sou incircunciso dos lábios.

And Moses, answering the Lord, said, See, the children of Israel will not give ear to me; how then will Pharaoh give ear to me, whose lips are unclean?

13 Todavia o Senhor falou a Moisés e a Aarão, e deu-lhes mandamento para os filhos de Israel, e para faraó rei do Egito, para que tirassem os filhos de Israel da terra do Egito.

And the word of the Lord came to Moses and Aaron, with orders for the children of Israel and for Pharaoh, king of Egypt, to take the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.

14 Estas são as cabeças das casas de seus pais: Os filhos de Ruben, o primogênito de Israel: Hanoch e palu, Hezron e Carmi; estas são as famílias de Ruben.

These are the heads of their fathers' families: the sons of Reuben the oldest son of Israel: Hanoch and Pallu, Hezron and Carmi: these are the families of Reuben.

15 E os filhos de Simeão: Jemuel, e Jamin, e Ohad, e Jachin, e Zohar, e Shaul, filho de uma Cananeia; estas são as famílias de Simeão.

And the sons of Simeon: Jemuel and Jamin and Ohad and Jachin and Zohar and Shaul, the son of a woman of Canaan: these are the families of Simeon.

16 E estes são os nomes dos filhos de Levi, segundo as suas gerações: Gerson, e Koath, e Merari: e os anos da vida de Levi foram cento e trinta e sete anos.

And these are the names of the sons of Levi in the order of their generations: Gershon and Kohath and Merari: and the years of Levi's life were a hundred and thirty-seven.

17 Os filhos de Gerson: Libni e Simei, segundo as suas famílias;

The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei, in the order of their families.

18 E os filhos de Kohath: Amram, e Izhar, e Hebron, e Uzziel: e os anos da vida de Kohath foram cento e trinta e três anos.

And the sons of Kohath: Amram and Izhar and Hebron and Uzziel: and the years of Kohath's life were a hundred and thirty-three.

19 E os filhos de Merari: Mahali e Musi: estas são as famílias de Levi, segundo as suas gerações.

And the sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi: these are the families of the Levites, in the order of their generations.

20 E Amram tomou por mulher a Jochebed, sua tia, e ela pariu-lhe a Aarão e a Moisés: e os anos da vida de Amram foram cento e trinta e sete anos.

And Amram took Jochebed, his father's sister, as wife; and she gave birth to Aaron and Moses: and the years of Amram's life were a hundred and thirty-seven.

21 E os filhos de Izhar: Korah, e Nepheg, e Zichri.

And the sons of Izhar: Korah and Nepheg and Zichri.

22 E os filhos de Uzziel: Misael, e Elzaphan e Sithri.

And the sons of Uzziel: Mishael and Elzaphan and Sithri.

23 E Aarão tomou por mulher a Eliseba, filha de Amminadab, irmã de Nahasson; e ela pariu-lhe a Nadab, e Abihu, Eleazar e Ithamar.

And Aaron took as his wife Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab, the sister of Nahshon; and she gave birth to Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

24 E os filhos de Korah: Assir, e Elkana, e Abiasaph: estas são as famílias dos Korithas.

And the sons of Korah: Assir and Elkanah and Abiasaph: these are the families of the Korahites.

25 E Eleazar, filho de Aarão, tomou para si por mulher uma das filhas de Putiel, e ela pariu-lhe a Phineas: estas são as cabeças dos pais dos levitas, segundo as suas famílias.

And Eleazar, Aaron's son, took as his wife one of the daughters of Putiel; and she gave birth to Phinehas. These are the heads of the families of the Levites, in the order of their families.

26 Estes são Aarão e Moisés, aos quais o Senhor disse: tirai os filhos de Israel da terra do Egito, segundo os seus exércitos.

These are the same Aaron and Moses to whom the Lord said, Take the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt in their armies.

27 Estes são os que falaram a faraó, rei do Egito, para que tirasse do Egito os filhos de Israel: estes são Moisés e Aarão.

These are the men who gave orders to Pharaoh to let the children of Israel go out of Egypt: these are the same Moses and Aaron.

28 E aconteceu que naquele dia, quando o Senhor falou a Moisés na terra do Egito,

And on the day when the word of the Lord came to Moses in the land of Egypt,

29 Falou o Senhor a Moisés, dizendo: Eu sou o Senhor; fala a faraó, rei do Egito, tudo quanto eu te digo a ti.

The Lord said to Moses, I am the Lord: say to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, everything I am saying to you.

30 Então disse Moisés perante o Senhor: Eis que eu sou incircunciso dos lábios; como pois faraó me ouvirá?

And Moses said to the Lord, My lips are unclean; how is it possible that Pharaoh will give me a hearing?
