Colossenses 3
1 Portanto, se já resuscitastes com Cristo, buscai as coisas que são de cima, onde Cristo está assentado à dextra de Deus.
If, then, you were raised with the Christ, seek the things above, where the Christ is, seated on the right hand of God;
2 Pensai nas coisas que são de cima, e não nas que são da terra;
mind the things above, not the things on the earth,
3 Porque já estais mortos, e a vossa vida está escondida com Cristo em Deus.
for you died, and your life has been hid with the Christ in God;
4 Quando Cristo, que é a nossa vida, se manifestar, então também vós vos manifestareis com ele em glória.
when the Christ—our life—may have appeared, then we will also appear with Him in glory.
5 Mortificai pois os vossos membros, que estão sobre a terra: a fornicação, a imundícia, o apetite desordenado, a vil concupiscência e a avareza, que é idolatria;
Put to death, then, your members that [are] on the earth—whoredom, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and the covetousness, which is idolatry—
6 Pelas quais coisas vem a ira de Deus sobre os filhos da desobediência:
because of which things comes the anger of God on the sons of the disobedience,
7 Nas quais também de antes andastes, quando vivieis nelas.
in which you also—you once walked, when you lived in them;
8 Mas agora despojai-vos também de todas estas coisas, a saber, da ira, da colera, da malícia, da maledicência, das palavras torpes da vossa boca.
but now put off, even you, the whole—anger, wrath, malice, slander, filthy talking—out of your mouth.
9 Não mintais uns aos outros, pois que já vos despistes do velho homem com os seus feitos,
Do not lie to one another, having put off the old man with his practices,
10 E vos vestistes do novo, que se renova para o conhecimento, segundo a imagem daquele que o criou:
and having put on the new, which is renewed in regard to knowledge, after the image of Him who created him,
11 Onde não há grego nem judeu, circuncisão nem incircuncisão, bárbaro, scytha, servo, ou livre; mas Cristo é tudo em todos.
where there is not Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, foreigner, Scythian, servant, freeman, but Christ [is] all and in all.
12 Revesti-vos pois, como eleitos de Deus, santos, e amados, de entranhas de misericórdia, da benignidade, humildade, mansidão, longanimidade:
Put on, therefore, as chosen ones of God, holy and beloved, yearnings of mercies, kindness, humble-mindedness, meekness, long-suffering,
13 Suportando-vos uns aos outros, e perdoando-vos uns aos outros, se algum tiver queixa contra outro: assim como Cristo vos perdoou, assim o fazei vós também.
bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if anyone may have a quarrel with anyone, as the Christ also forgave you—so also you;
14 E, sobre tudo isto, revesti-vos de caridade, que é o vínculo da perfeição.
and above all these things, [have] love, which is a bond of the perfection,
15 E a paz de Deus domine em vossos corações para a qual também fostes chamados em um corpo, e sede agradecidos.
and let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which you were also called in one body, and become thankful.
16 A palavra de Cristo habite em vós abundantemente, em toda a sabedoria, ensinando-vos e admoestando-vos uns aos outros, com palavras, hinos e cânticos espirituais, cantando ao Senhor com graça em vosso coração.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing each other, in psalms, and hymns, and spiritual songs, in grace singing in your hearts to the LORD;
17 E, quanto fizerdes por palavras ou por obras, fazei tudo em nome do Senhor Jesus, dando por ele graças a Deus e ao Pai.
and all, whatever you may do in word or in work, [do] all things in the Name of the Lord Jesus—giving thanks to the God and Father, through Him.
18 Vós, mulheres, estai sujeitas a vossos próprios maridos, como convém no Senhor.
The wives: be subject to your own husbands, as is fit in the LORD;
19 Vós, maridos, amai a vossas mulheres, e não vos irriteis contra elas.
the husbands: love your wives, and do not be bitter with them;
20 Vós, filhos, obedecei em tudo a vossos pais; porque isto é agradável ao Senhor.
the children: obey the parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing to the LORD;
21 Vós, pais, não irriteis a vossos filhos, para que não percam o ânimo.
the fathers: do not distress your children, lest they be discouraged;
22 Vós, servos, obedecei em tudo a vossos senhores segundo a carne, não servindo só na aparência, como para agradar aos homens, mas com simplicidade de coração, temendo a Deus
the servants: obey those who are masters in all things according to the flesh, not in eye-service as men-pleasers, but in simplicity of heart, fearing God;
23 E, tudo quanto fizerdes, fazei-o do coração, como ao Senhor, e não aos homens:
and all, whatever you may do—out of soul work—as to the LORD, and not to men,
24 Sabendo que recebereis do Senhor o galardão da herança, porque a Cristo, o Senhor, servis.
having known that you will receive the repayment of the inheritance from the LORD—for you serve the LORD Christ;
25 Porém quem fizer agravo receberá o agravo que fizer: pois não há acepção de pessoas.
and he who is doing unrighteously will receive what he did unrighteously, and there is no favor by appearance.
