1 Tessalonicenses 3

1 Pelo que, não podendo esperar mais, de boamente quizemos deixar-nos ficar sós em Atenas;

Wherefore when we could no longer forbear, we thought it good to be left at Athens alone;

2 E enviamos Timotheo nosso irmão, e ministro de Deus, e nosso cooperador no evangelho de Cristo, para vos confortar e vos exortar acerca da vossa fé

And sent Timotheus, our brother, and minister of YHWH, and our fellowlabourer in the gospel of the Messiah, to establish you, and to comfort you concerning your faith:

3 Para que ninguém se comova por estas tribulações; porque vós mesmos sabeis que para isto fomos ordenados.

That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto.

4 Pois, estando ainda convosco, vos prediziamos que havíamos de ser afligidos, como também sucedeu, e vós o sabeis.

For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.

5 Portanto, não podendo eu também esperar mais, mandei-o saber da vossa fé, temendo que o tentador vos tentasse, e o nosso trabalho viesse a ser inútil.

For this cause, when I could no longer forbear, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter have tempted you, and our labour be in vain.

6 Vindo, porém, agora Timotheo de vós para nós, e trazendo-nos boas novas acerca da vossa fé e caridade, e de como sempre tendes boa lembrança de nós, desejando muito ver-nos, como nós também a vós;

But now when Timotheus came from you unto us, and brought us good tidings of your faith and charity, and that ye have good remembrance of us always, desiring greatly to see us, as we also to see you:

7 Pelo que, irmãos, nós ficamos consolados acerca de vós em toda a nossa aflição e necessidade, pela vossa fé,

Therefore, brethren, we were comforted over you in all our affliction and distress by your faith:

8 Porque agora vivemos, se estais firmes no Senhor.

For now we live, if ye stand fast in the Master.

9 Porque, que ação de graças poderemos dar a Deus por vós, por todo o gozo com que nos regozijamos por vossa causa diante do nosso Deus,

For what thanks can we render to YHWH again for you, for all the joy wherewith we joy for your sakes before our Elohim;

10 Orando abundantemente dia e noite, para que possamos ver o vosso rosto, e supramos o que falta à vossa fé?

Night and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face, and might perfect that which is lacking in your faith?

11 Ora o mesmo nosso Deus e Pai, e nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, encaminhe a nossa viagem para vós.

Now YHWH himself and our Father, and our Master Yahushua the Messiah, direct our way unto you.

12 E o Senhor vos aumente, e faça abundar em caridade uns para com os outros, e para com todos, como também abundamos para convosco;

And YHWH make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:

13 Para confortar os vossos corações, para que sejais irrepreensíveis em santificação diante de nosso Deus e Pai, na vinda de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo com todos os seus santos.

To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before YHWH, even our Father, at the coming of our Master Yahushua the Messiah with all his saints.
