1 Samuel 26
1 E vieram os zipheus a Saul, a Gibeah, dizendo: Não está David escondido no outeiro de Hachila, à entrada de Jesimon?
And Zipheis camen to Saul in to Gabaa, and seiden, Lo! Dauid is hidde in the hille of Achille, which is `euene ayens the wildirnesse.
2 Então Saul se levantou, e desceu ao deserto de Ziph, e com ele três mil homens escolhidos de Israel, a buscar a David no deserto de Ziph.
And Saul roos, and yede doun in to deseert of Ziph, and with hym thre thousynde of men of the chosun of Israel, that he schulde seke Dauid in the desert of Ziph.
3 E acampou-se Saul no outeiro de Hachila, que está à entrada de Jesimon, junto ao caminho: porém David ficou no deserto, e viu que Saul vinha após dele ao deserto.
And Saul settide tentis in Gabaa of Achille, that was euen ayens the wildirnesse in the weie. Sotheli Dauid dwellide in deseert. Forsothe Dauid siy that Saul hadde come aftir hym in to deseert;
4 Pois David enviou espias, e soube que Saul vinha decerto.
and Dauid sente aspieris, and lernede moost certeynli, that Saul hadde come thidur.
5 E David se levantou, e veio ao lugar onde Saul se tinha acampado; viu David o lugar onde se tinha deitado Saul, e Abner, filho de Ner, chefe do seu exército: e Saul estava deitado dentro do lugar dos carros, e o povo estava acampado ao redor dele.
And Dauid roos priueli, and cam to the place where Saul was. And whanne Dauid hadde seyn the place, wher ynne Saul slepte, and Abner, the sone of Ner, the prince of his chyualrye, and Saul slepynge in the tente, and the tother comyn puple bi his cumpas, Dauid seide to Achymelech,
6 E respondeu David, e falou a Achimelech, o hetheu, e a Abisai, filho de Zeruia, irmão de Jacob, dizendo: Quem descerá comigo a Saul ao arraial? E disse Abisai: Eu descerei contigo.
Ethey, and to Abisai, sone of Saruye, the brother of Joab, `and seide, Who schal go doun with me to Saul in to `the castels? And Abisai seide, Y schal go doun with thee.
7 Vieram pois David e Abisai de noite ao povo, e eis que Saul estava deitado dormindo dentro do lugar dos carros, e a sua lança estava pregada na terra à sua cabeceira: e Abner e o povo deitavam-se ao redor dele.
Therfor Dauid and Abisai camen to the puple in the nyyt, and thei founden Saul lyggynge and slepynge in `the tente, and a spere sette faste in the erthe at his heed; `forsothe thei founden Abner and the puple slepynge in his cumpas.
8 Então disse Abisai a David: Deus te entregou hoje nas mãos a teu inimigo; deixa-mo pois agora encravar com a lança de uma vez com a terra, e não o ferirei segunda vez
And Abisay seide to Dauid, God hath closid to dai thin enemy in to thin hondis; now therfor Y schal peerse hym with a spere onys in the erthe, and `no nede schal be the secounde tyme.
9 E disse David a Abisai: Nenhum dano lhe faças: porque quem estendeu a sua mão contra o ungido do Senhor, e ficou inocente?
And Dauid seide to Abysai, Sle thou not hym, for who schal holde forth his hond into the crist of the Lord, and schal be innocent?
10 Disse mais David: Vive o Senhor, que o Senhor o ferirá, ou o seu dia chegará em que morra, ou descerá para a batalha e perecerá;
And Dauid seide, The Lord lyueth, for no but the Lord smyte hym, ether his dai come that he die, ether he go doun in to batel and perische;
11 O Senhor me guarde, de que eu estenda a mão contra o ungido do Senhor: agora porém toma lá a lança que está à sua cabeceira e a bilha da água, e vamo-nos.
the Lord be merciful to me, that Y holde not forth myn hond in to the crist of the Lord; now therfor take thou the spere, which is at his heed, and `take thou the cuppe of watir, and go we awei.
12 Tomou pois David a lança e a bilha da água, da cabeceira de Saul, e foram-se: e ninguém houve que o visse, nem que o advertisse, nem que acordasse; porque todos estavam dormindo, porque havia caído sobre eles um profundo sono do Senhor.
Dauid took the spere, and the cuppe of watir, that was at the heed of Saul, and thei yeden forth, and no man was that siy, and vndirstood, and wakide, but alle men slepten; for the sleep of the Lord `hadde feld on hem.
13 E David, passando à outra banda, pôs-se no cume do monte ao longe, de maneira que entre eles havia grande distância.
And whanne Dauid hadde passid euene ayens, and hadde stonde on the cop of the hil afer, and a greet space was bitwixe hem,
14 E David bradou ao povo, e a Abner, filho de Ner, dizendo: Não responderás, Abner? Então Abner respondeu e disse: Quem és tu, que bradas ao rei
Dauid criede to the puple, and to Abner, the sone of Ner, and seide, Abner, whether thou schalt not answere? And Abner answeride, and seide, Who art thou, that criest, and disesist the kyng?
15 Então disse David a Abner: Porventura não és varão? e quem há em Israel como tu, porque, pois, não guardaste tu o rei teu senhor? porque um do povo veio para destruir o rei teu senhor.
And Dauith seide to Abner, Whether thou art not a man, and what other man is lijk thee in Israel? whi therfor `kepist thou not thi lord the kyng? `For o man of the cumpanye entride, that he schulde sle thi lord the kyng;
16 Não é bom isto, que fizeste; vive o Senhor, que sois dignos de morte, vós que não guardastes a vosso senhor, o ungido do Senhor: vede pois agora onde está a lança do rei, e a bilha da água, que tinha à sua cabeceira.
this that thou hast doon, is not good; the Lord lyueth, for ye ben sones of deeth, that kepten not youre lord, the crist of the Lord. Now therfor se thou, where is the spere of the kyng, and where is the cuppe of watir, that weren at his heed.
17 Então conheceu Saul a voz de David, e disse: Não é esta a tua voz, meu filho David? E disse David: Minha voz é, ó rei meu senhor.
Forsothe Saul knew the vois of Dauid, and seide, Whether this vois is thin, my sone Dauid? And Dauid seide, My lord the kyng, it is my vois.
18 Disse mais: Porque persegue o meu senhor assim o seu servo? porque, que fiz eu? e que maldade se acha nas minhas mãos?
And Dauid seide, For what cause pursueth my lord his seruaunt? What haue Y do, ether what yuel is in myn hond? Now therfor,
19 Ouve pois agora, te rogo, rei meu senhor, as palavras de teu servo: Se o Senhor te incita contra mim, cheire ele a oferta de manjares; porém se os filhos dos homens, malditos sejam perante o Senhor: pois eles me tem expelido hoje para que eu não fique apegado à herança do Senhor, dizendo: vai, serve a outros deuses.
my lord the kyng, Y preye, here the wordis of thi seruaunt; if the Lord stirith thee ayens me, the sacrifice be smellid; forsothe if sones of men stiren thee, thei ben cursid in the siyt of the Lord, whiche han cast me out `to dai, that Y dwelle not in the erytage of the Lord, and seien, Go thou, serue thou alien goddis.
20 Agora pois não se derrame o meu sangue na terra diante do Senhor: pois saiu o rei de Israel em busca de uma pulga; como quem persegue uma perdiz nos montes.
And now my blood be not sched out in the erthe bifor the Lord; for the kyng of Israel yede out, that he seke a quike fle, as a partrich is pursuede in hillis.
21 Então disse Saul: Pequei; volta, meu filho David, porque não ordenarei a fazer-te mal; porque foi hoje preciosa a minha vida aos teus olhos: eis que fiz loucamente, e errei grandissimamente.
And Saul seide, Y synnede; turne ayen, my sone Dauid, for Y schal no more do yuel to thee, for my lijf was precious to day in thin iyen; for it semeth, that Y dide folili, and Y vnknew ful many thingis.
22 David então respondeu, e disse: Eis aqui a lança do rei; passe cá um dos mancebos, e leve-a.
And Dauid answeride and seide, Lo! the spere of the kyng, oon of the `children of the kyng passe, and take it; forsothe the Lord schal yelde to ech man bi his riytfulnesse and feith;
23 O Senhor porém pague a cada um a sua justiça e a sua lealdade; pois o Senhor te tinha dado hoje na minha mão, porém não quis estender a minha mão contra o ungido do Senhor.
for the Lord bitook thee to dai in to myn hond, and Y nolde holde forth myn hond in to the crist of the Lord;
24 E eis que assim como foi a tua vida hoje de tanta estima aos meus olhos, doutra tanta estima seja a minha vida aos olhos do Senhor, e ele me livre de toda a tribulação.
and as thi lijf is magnified to dai in myn iyen, so my lijf be magnyfied in the iyen of the Lord, and delyuere he me fro al angwisch.
25 Então Saul disse a David: bendito sejas tu, meu filho David; pois grandes coisas farás e também prevalecerás. Então David se foi pelo seu caminho e Saul voltou para o seu lugar.
Therfor Saul seide to Dauid, Blessid be thou, my sone Dauid; and sotheli thou doynge schalt do, and thou myyti schalt be myyti. Therfor Dauid yede in to his weie, and Saul turnede ayen in to his place.
