1 Samuel 16
1 Então disse o Senhor a Samuel: Até quando terás dó de Saul, havendo-o eu rejeitado, para que não reine sobre Israel? enche o teu vaso de azeite, e vem, enviar-te-ei a Jessé o beth-lehemita; porque dentre os seus filhos me tenho provido de um rei.
And he said Yahweh to Samuel until when? [are] you mourning to Saul and I I have rejected him from reigning over Israel fill horn your oil and go I will send you to Jesse [the] Beth-lehemite for I have seen among sons his for myself a king.
2 Porém disse Samuel: Como irei eu? pois, ouvindo-o Saul, me matará. Então disse o Senhor: Toma uma bezerra das vacas em tuas mãos, e dize: Vim para sacrificar ao Senhor.
And he said Samuel how? will I go and he will hear Saul and he will kill me. And he said Yahweh a heifer of cattle you will take in hand your and you will say to sacrifice to Yahweh I have come.
3 E convidarás a Jessé ao sacrifício: e eu te farei saber o que as de fazer, e ungir-me-ás a quem eu te disser.
And you will invite Jesse at the sacrifice and I I will make known to you [that] which you will do and you will anoint for me [the one] whom I will say to you.
4 Fez pois Samuel o que dissera o Senhor, e veio a Beth-lehem: então os anciãos da cidade sairam ao encontro, tremendo, e disseram: De paz é a tua vinda?
And he did Samuel [that] which he said Yahweh and he came Beth-lehem and they trembled [the] elders of the city to meet him and someone said [in] peace [are] coming? you.
5 E disse ele: É de paz, vim sacrificar ao Senhor; santificai-vos, e vinde comigo ao sacrifício. E santificou ele a Jessé e a seus filhos, e os convidou ao sacrifício.
And he said - peace to sacrifice to Yahweh I have come consecrate yourselves and you will come with me at the sacrifice and he consecrated Jesse and sons his and he invited them to the sacrifice.
6 E sucedeu que, entrando eles, viu a Eliah, e disse: Certamente está perante o Senhor o seu ungido.
And it was when came they and he saw Eliab and he said surely [is] before Yahweh anointed his.
7 Porém o Senhor disse a Samuel: Não atentes para a sua aparência, nem para a altura da sua estatura, porque o tenho rejeitado, porque o Senhor não vê como vê o homem, pois o homem vê o que está diante dos olhos, porém o Senhor olha para o coração
And he said Yahweh to Samuel may not you look to appearance his and to [the] height of stature his for I have rejected him for - not [that] which he sees man for man he sees to the eyes and Yahweh he sees to the heart.
8 Então chamou Jessé a Abinadab: e o fez passar diante de Samuel, o qual disse: Nem a este tem escolhido o Senhor.
And he called Jesse to Abinadab and he made pass by him before Samuel and he said also this one not he has chosen Yahweh.
9 Então Jessé fez passar a Samma: porém disse: Tão pouco a este tem escolhido o Senhor.
And he made pass by Jesse Shammah and he said also this one not he has chosen Yahweh.
10 Assim fez passar Jessé a seus sete filhos diante de Samuel: porém Samuel disse a Jessé: O Senhor não tem escolhido a estes.
And he made pass by Jesse seven of sons his before Samuel and he said Samuel to Jesse not he has chosen Yahweh these.
11 Disse mais Samuel a Jessé: Acabaram-se os mancebos? E disse: Ainda falta o menor, e eis que apascenta as ovelhas. Disse pois Samuel a Jessé: Envia, e manda-o chamar, porquanto não nos assentaremos em roda da mesa até que ele venha aqui.
And he said Samuel to Jesse ¿ are they finished the young men and he said still he remains the young [one] and there! [he is] shepherding the flock and he said Samuel to Jesse send! and bring him for not we will turn round until comes he here.
12 Então mandou, e o trouxe (e era ruivo e formoso de semblante e de boa presença): e disse o Senhor: Levanta-te, e unge-o, porque este mesmo é
And he sent and he brought him and he [was] red with beautiful of eyes and good of appearance. And he said Yahweh arise anoint him for this [is] he.
13 Então Samuel tomou o vaso do azeite, e ungiu-o no meio de seus irmãos; e desde aquele dia em diante o espírito do Senhor se apoderou de David: então Samuel se levantou, e se tornou a Rama.
And he took Samuel [the] horn of oil and he anointed him in [the] midst of brothers his and it rushed [the] spirit of Yahweh to David from the day that and on-wards and he arose Samuel and he went Ramah towards.
14 E o espírito do Senhor se retirou de Saul, e o assombrava o espírito mau da parte do Senhor.
And [the] spirit of Yahweh it departed from with Saul and it terrified him a spirit evil from with Yahweh.
15 Então os criados de Saul lhe disseram: Eis que agora o espírito mau da parte do Senhor te assombra:
And they said [the] servants of Saul to him here! please a spirit of God evil [is] terrifying you.
16 Diga pois nosso senhor a seus servos, que estão em tua presença, que busquem um homem que saiba tocar harpa, e será que, quando o espírito mau da parte do Senhor vier sobre ti, então ele tocará com a sua mão, e te acharás melhor
Let him say please lord our servants your before you let them seek a person [who] knows playing on the harp and it will be when is on you a spirit of God evil and he will play with hand his and good [will belong] to you.
17 Então disse Saul aos seus servos: buscai-me pois um homem que toque bem, e trazei-mo.
And he said Saul to servants his see please for me a person [who] does well to play and you will bring [him] to me.
18 Então respondeu um dos mancebos, e disse: Eis que tenho visto a um filho de Jessé, o beth-lehemita, que sabe tocar, e é valente e animoso, e homem de guerra, e sisudo em palavras, e de gentil presença: o Senhor é com ele
And he answered one from the young men and he said here! I have seen a son of Jesse [the] Beth-lehemite [who] knows to play and a mighty [man] of strength and a man of war and [one] discerning of word and a man of form and Yahweh [is] with him.
19 E Saul enviou mensageiros a Jessé, dizendo: Envia-me David, teu filho, o que está com as ovelhas.
And he sent Saul messengers to Jesse and he said send! to me David son your who [is] with the flock.
20 Então tomou Jessé um jumento carregado de pão, e um odre de vinho, e um cabrito, e enviou-os a Saul pela mão de David, seu filho.
And he took Jesse a donkey bread and a skin-bottle of wine and a kid of goats one and he sent [them] by [the] hand of David son his to Saul.
21 Assim David veio a Saul, e esteve perante ele, e o amou muito, e foi seu pagem de armas.
And he came David to Saul and he stood before him and he loved him exceedingly and he was of him bearer of armor.
22 Então Saul mandou dizer a Jessé: Deixa estar a David perante mim, pois achou graça em meus olhos.
And he sent Saul to Jesse saying let him stand please David before me for he has found favor in view my.
23 E sucedia que, quando o espírito mau da parte de Deus vinha sobre Saul, David tomava a harpa, e a tocava com a sua mão; então Saul sentia alívio, e se achava melhor, e o espírito mau se retirava dele.
And it was when was a spirit of God to Saul and he took David the harp and he played with hand his and it was relief to Saul and good [belonged] to him and it departed from on him [the] spirit of evil.
