1 Coríntios 6
1 Ousa algum de vós, tendo algum negócio contra outro, ir a juízo perante os injustos, e não perante os santos?
Dare anyone of you, having a matter with the other, go to be judged before the unrighteous, and not before the holy ones?
2 Não sabeis vós que os santos hão de julgar o mundo? Ora, se o mundo deve ser julgado por vós, sois porventura indignos de julgar as coisas mínimas?
Have you not known that the holy ones will judge the world? And if the world is judged by you, are you unworthy of the smaller judgments?
3 Não sabeis vós que havemos de julgar os anjos? Quanto mais as coisas pertencentes a esta vida?
Have you not known that we will judge messengers? Why not then the things of life?
4 Assim que, se tiverdes negócios em juízo, pertencentes a esta vida, ponde na cadeira aos que são de menos estima na igreja.
Of the things of life, indeed, then, if you may have judgment, those despised in the Assembly—these you cause to sit;
5 Para vos envergonhar o digo: Não há pois entre vós sábios, nem ainda um, que possa julgar entre seus irmãos?
I speak to your shame: so there is not among you one wise man, not even one, who will be able to discern in the midst of his brothers!
6 Mas o irmão vai a juízo com o irmão, e isto perante infieis.
But brother with brother goes to be judged, and this before unbelievers!
7 Assim que é já realmente uma falta entre vós, terdes demandas uns contra os outros. Porque não sofreis antes a injustiça? Porque não sofreis antes o dano
Already, indeed, then, there is altogether a fault among you, that you have judgments with one another; why do you not rather suffer injustice? Why not be defrauded?
8 Mas vós mesmos fazeis a injustiça e fazeis o dano; e isto aos irmãos.
But you do injustice, and you defraud, and these—brothers!
9 Não sabeis que os injustos não hão de herdar o reino de Deus?
Have you not known that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be led astray; neither whoremongers, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor sodomites,
10 Não erreis: nem os fornicadores, nem os idólatras, nem os adúlteros, nem os efeminados, nem os sodomitas, nem os ladrões, nem os avarentos, nem os bêbedos, nem os maldizentes, nem os roubadores herdarão o reino de Deus.
nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God.
11 E é o que alguns tem sido, mas haveis sido lavados, mas haveis sido santificados, mas haveis sido justificados em nome do Senhor Jesus, e pelo espírito do nosso Deus.
And certain of you were these! But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were declared righteous, in the Name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.
12 Todas as coisas me são licitas, mas nem todas as coisas convém: todas as coisas me são licitas; porém eu não me deixarei dominar por nenhuma.
All things are lawful to me, but all things are not profitable; all things are lawful to me, but I will not be under authority by any;
13 Os manjares são para o ventre e o ventre para os manjares; porém Deus aniquilará, tanto um como os outros. Porém o corpo não é para a fornicação, mas para o Senhor, e o Senhor para o corpo
the meats [are] for the belly, and the belly for the meats. And God will make useless both this and these; and the body [is] not for whoredom, but for the LORD, and the LORD for the body;
14 Ora Deus, que também resuscitou o Senhor, nos resuscitará a nós pelo seu poder.
and God raised both the LORD, and will raise us up through His power.
15 Não sabeis vós que os vossos corpos são membros de Cristo? Tomarei pois os membros de Cristo, e fa-los-ei membros de uma meretriz? Não, por certo.
Have you not known that your bodies are members of Christ? Having taken, then, the members of the Christ, will I make [them] members of a prostitute? Let it not be!
16 Ou não sabeis que o que se ajunta com a meretriz, faz-se um corpo? Porque serão, disse, dois numa só carne.
Have you not known that he who is joined to the prostitute is one body? For it says, “The two will be into one flesh.”
17 Mas o que se ajunta com o Senhor é um mesmo espírito.
And he who is joined to the LORD is one spirit;
18 Fugi da fornicação. Todo o pecado que o homem comete é fora do corpo; mas o que fornica peca contra o seu próprio corpo.
flee the whoredom; every sin—whatever a man may commit—is outside the body, and he who is committing whoredom sins against his own body.
19 Ou não sabeis que o nosso corpo é o templo do Espírito Santo, que habita em vós, o qual tendes de Deus, e que não sois de vós mesmos?
Have you not known that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit in you, which you have from God? And you are not your own,
20 Porque fostes comprados por preço; glorificai pois a Deus no vosso corpo, e no vosso espírito, os quais pertencem a Deus.
for you were bought with a price; glorify, then, God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
