1 Coríntios 15
1 Também vos notifico, irmãos, o evangelho que já vos tenho anunciado; o qual também recebestes, e no qual também permaneceis.
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached to you at first, which ye received, and wherein ye stand.
2 Pelo qual também sois salvos se o retiverdes tal como vo-lo tenho anunciado; se não é que crestes em vão.
By which also ye are saved, if ye retain it as I preached it to you: unless indeed ye have believed in vain.
3 Porque primeiramente vos entreguei o que também recebi: que Cristo morreu por nossos pecados, segundo as escrituras,
For in the first place I delivered to you, that which I also received, to wit, that Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures:
4 E que foi sepultado, e que resuscitou ao terceiro dia, segundo as escrituras,
and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day, according to the scriptures.
5 E que foi visto por Cephas, e depois pelos doze.
And that he was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve:
6 Depois foi visto, uma vez, por mais de quinhentos irmãos, dos quais vive ainda a maior parte, e alguns dormem já também.
after that He appeared to above five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain yet alive, but some are fallen asleep.
7 Depois foi visto por Thiago, depois por todos os apóstolos.
Afterwards He was seen by James, then by all the apostles.
8 E por derradeiro de todos foi visto também por mim, como por um abortivo.
And last of all He appeared to me also, as one born out of due time: for I am the lest of the apostles,
9 Porque eu sou o menor dos apóstolos, que não sou digno de ser chamado apóstolo, porque persegui a igreja de Deus.
not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
10 Mas pela graça de Deus sou o que sou; e a sua graça para comigo não foi vã, antes trabalhei muito mais do que todos eles; todavia não eu, mas a graça de Deus, que está comigo
But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his favor to me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all; yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.
11 Assim que seja eu ou sejam eles, assim pregamos e assim haveis crido.
Whether therefore I or they laboured most, thus we preach, and thus ye believed.
12 Ora, se se prega que Cristo resuscitou dos mortos, como dizem alguns dentre vós que não há ressurreição de mortos?
Now if it be preached that Christ is risen from the dead, how say some among you, that there is no resurrection of the dead?
13 E, se não há ressurreição de mortos, também Cristo não resuscitou.
for if there be no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen.
14 E, se Cristo não resuscitou, logo é vã a nossa pregação, e também é vã a vossa fé.
And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
15 E assim somos também achados falsas testemunhas de Deus, pois testificamos de Deus, que resuscitou a Cristo, ao qual, porém, não resuscitou, se, na verdade, os mortos não ressuscitam.
Yea, and we are found false witnesses concerning God, for we have testified of God, that He raised up Christ; whom He did not raise up, if indeed the dead do not rise.
16 Porque, se os mortos não ressuscitam, também Cristo não resuscitou.
For if the dead rise not, then Christ is not raised:
17 E, se Cristo não resuscitou, é vã a vossa fé, e ainda permaneceis nos vossos pecados.
and if Christ be not risen, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
18 E também os que dormiram em Cristo estão perdidos.
Then they also that sleep in Christ, are perished.
19 Se esperamos em Cristo só nesta vida, somos os mais miseráveis de todos os homens.
If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
20 Mas agora Cristo resuscitou dos mortos, e foi feito as primícias dos que dormem.
But now Christ is risen from the dead, and is become the first-fruits of them that slept:
21 Porque, assim como a morte veio por um homem, também a ressurreição dos mortos veio por um homem.
for as by man came death, by man cometh also the resurrection of the dead.
22 Porque, assim como todos morrem em Adão, assim também todos serão vivificados em Cristo.
For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 Mas cada um por sua ordem: Cristo as primícias, depois os que são de Cristo, na sua vinda.
But each in their proper order: the first-fruits, Christ; afterwards they that are Christ's, at his coming.
24 Depois virá o fim, quando tiver entregado o reino a Deus, ao pai, e quando houver aniquilado todo o império, e toda a potestade e força.
Then will be the end, when He shall have delivered up the kingdom to God even the Father; when He shall have abolished all rule, and all authority, and power.
25 Porque convém que reine até que haja posto a todos os inimigos debaixo de seus pés.
For he must reign till He hath put all his enemies under his feet.
26 Ora o último inimigo que será aniquilado é a morte.
The last enemy that is destroyed is death:
27 Porque todas as coisas sujeitou debaixo de seus pés. Porém, quando diz que todas as coisas lhe estão sujeitas, claro está que exceptua aquele que lhe sujeitou todas as coisas.
for He hath put all things under his feet. But when He saith that all things are put under Him, it is plain that we are to except Him who put all things under Him.
28 E, quando todas as coisas lhe estiverem sujeitas, então também o mesmo Filho se sujeitará àquele que todas as coisas lhe sujeitou, para que Deus seja tudo em todos.
And when all things shall be subjected to Him, then shall the Son also himself be subject to Him, that put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.
29 Doutra maneira, que farão os que se batizam pelos mortos, se absolutamente os mortos não ressuscitam? Pois porque se batizam pelos mortos?
Besides, what shall they do who are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why then are they baptized for the dead?
30 Porque estamos nós também a toda a hora em perigo?
And why are we in danger every hour?
31 Cada dia morro pela vossa glória, a qual tenho em Cristo Jesus nosso Senhor.
I protest by your rejoicing, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, that I am even dying daily.
32 Se, como homem, combati em Éfeso contra as bestas, que me aproveita, se os mortos não ressuscitam? Comamos e bebamos, que amanhã morreremos.
If, to speak as a man, I fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantage have I, if the dead rise not? Let us eat and drink, for to-morrow we die. ---
33 Não vos enganeis: as más conversações corrompem os bons costumes.
Be not deceived, bad conversations corrupt good morals.
34 Vigiai justamente e não pequeis; porque alguns ainda não tem o conhecimento de Deus: digo-o para vergonha vossa.
Behave soberly, as ye ought to do, and sin not: for some of you have not the knowledge of God; to your shame I speak it.
35 Mas alguém dirá: Como ressuscitarão os mortos? E com que corpo virão?
But some will say, How are the dead raised, and with what body do they come?
36 Insensato! o que tu semeias não vivificará, se primeiro não morrer.
Silly creature! that which thou sowest, is not quickened, except it die first.
37 E, quando semeias, não semeias o corpo que há de nascer, mas o simples grão, como de trigo, ou doutra qualquer semente.
And as to what thou sowest, thou sowest not the very body that shall be produced, but a bare grain, it may be, of wheat, or any other corn:
38 Mas Deus dá-lhe o corpo como quer, e a cada semente o seu próprio corpo.
and God giveth it a body as He pleaseth, and to every one of the seeds it's own body.
39 Nem toda a carne é uma mesma carne, mas uma é a carne dos homens, e outra a carne dos animais, e outra a dos peixes e outra a das aves.
All flesh is not the same kind of flesh: but there is one flesh of men, and another of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40 E há corpos celestes e corpos terrestres, mas uma é a glória dos celestes e outra a dos terrestres.
There are also celestial bodies, and terrestrial bodies: but there is one glory of the celestial, and another of the terrestrial.
41 Uma é a glória do sol, e outra a glória da lua, e outra a glória das estrelas; porque uma estrela difere em glória doutra estrela.
There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: and one star differeth from another star in glory.
42 Assim também a ressurreição dos mortos. Semeia-se o corpo em corrupção; resuscitará em incorrupção.
So also will be the resurrection of the dead. Our body is sown in corruption, it is raised incorruptible: it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory:
43 Semeia-se em ignomínia, resuscitará em glória. Semeia-se em fraqueza, resuscitará com vigor.
it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;
44 Semeia-se corpo animal, resuscitará corpo espiritual. há corpo animal, e há corpo espiritual.
it is sown an animal body, it is raised a spiritual body: for there is an animal body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 Assim está também escrito: O primeiro homem, Adão, foi feito em alma vivente: o último Adão em espírito vivificante.
And so it is written, "The first man Adam was made a living soul." But the last Adam is an enlivening spirit.
46 Mas não é primeiro o espiritual, senão o animal; depois o espiritual.
However, the spiritual is not first, but the animal; and afterwards the spiritual.
47 O primeiro homem, da terra, é terreno; o segundo homem, o Senhor, é do céu.
The first man being made out of the earth, was earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
48 Qual o terreno, tais são também os terrenos; e, qual o celestial, tais também os celestiais.
Such as the earthy was, such are they also that are earthy: and such, as is the heavenly, are they also that are heavenly.
49 E, assim como trouxemos a imagem do terreno, assim traremos também a imagem do celestial.
And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50 Porém digo isto, irmãos: que a carne e o sangue não podem herdar o reino de Deus, nem a corrupção herda a incorrupção.
But this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor doth what is corruptible inherit incorruption.
51 Eis aqui vos digo um mistério: Na verdade, nem todos dormiremos, mas todos seremos transformados,
Behold, I tell you a mystery: we shall not all sleep; but we shall all be changed in a moment,
52 Num momento, num abrir e fechar de olhos, ao som da última trombeta; porque a trombeta soará, e os mortos ressuscitarão incorruptíveis, e nós seremos transformados.
in the twinkling of an eye, at the sound of the last trumpet (for the trumpet shall sound) and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed:
53 Porque convém que este corpo corruptível se revista da incorruptibilidade, e que este corpo mortal se revista da imortalidade.
for this corruptible body must put on incorruption, and this mortal body must be clothed with immortality.
54 E, quando este corpo corruptível se revestir da incorruptibilidade, e este corpo mortal se revestir da imortalidade, então cumprir-se-á a palavra que está escrita: Tragada foi a morte na vitória.
And when this corruptible shall be clothed with incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the word that is written, "Death is swallowed up in victory."
O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? (Hadēs g86)
56 Ora o aguilhão da morte é o pecado, e a força do pecado é a lei
the sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law:
57 Mas graças a Deus que nos dá a vitória por nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo.
but thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Portanto, meus amados irmãos, sede firmes e constantes, sempre abundantes na obra do Senhor, sabendo que o vosso trabalho não é vão no Senhor.
Wherefore, my beloved brethren, be stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, since ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
