1 OS filhos de Levi foram: Gerson, Kohath, e Merari.

2 E os filhos de Kohath: Amram, e Ishar, e Hebron, e Uzziel.

3 E os filhos d'Amram: Aarão, e Moisés, e Miriam: e os filhos de Aarão: Nadab, e Abihu, e Eleazar, e Ithamar.
The children of Amram: Aaron, and Moses, and Miriam. The sons of Aaron: Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
4 E Eleazar gerou a Phineas, e Phineas gerou a Abisua,
Eleazar became the father of Phinehas, Phinehas became the father of Abishua,
5 E Abisua gerou a Bukki, e Bukki gerou a Uzzi,
and Abishua became the father of Bukki, and Bukki became the father of Uzzi,
6 E Uzzi gerou a Zerahias, e Zerahias gerou a Meraioth,
and Uzzi became the father of Zerahiah, and Zerahiah became the father of Meraioth,
7 E Meraioth gerou a Amarias, e Amarias gerou a Ahitub,
Meraioth became the father of Amariah, and Amariah became the father of Ahitub,
8 E Ahitub gerou a Zadok, e Zadok gerou a Ahimaas,
and Ahitub became the father of Zadok, and Zadok became the father of Ahimaaz,
9 E Ahimaas gerou a Azarias, e Azarias gerou a Johanan,
and Ahimaaz became the father of Azariah, and Azariah became the father of Johanan,
10 E Johanan gerou a Azarias: este é o que administrou o sacerdócio na casa que Salomão tinha edificado em Jerusalém.
and Johanan became the father of Azariah, (he it is who executed the priest's office in the house that Solomon built in Jerusalem),
11 E Azarias gerou a Amarias, e Amarias gerou a Ahitub,
and Azariah became the father of Amariah, and Amariah became the father of Ahitub,
12 E Ahitub gerou a Zadok, e Zadok gerou a Sallum,
and Ahitub became the father of Zadok, and Zadok became the father of Shallum,
13 E Sallum gerou a Hilkias, e Hilkias gerou a Azarias,
and Shallum became the father of Hilkiah, and Hilkiah became the father of Azariah,
14 E Azarias gerou a Seraias, e Seraias gerou a Josadak,
and Azariah became the father of Seraiah, and Seraiah became the father of Jehozadak;
15 E Josadak foi levado cativo quando o Senhor levou presos a Judá e a Jerusalém pela mão de Nabucodonozor.
Jehozadak went into captivity, when Jehovah carried away Judah and Jerusalem by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.
16 Os filhos de Levi foram pois Gersom, Kohath, e Merari.
The sons of Levi: Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.
17 E estes são os nomes dos filhos de Gersom: Libni e Simei.
These are the names of the sons of Gershom: Libni and Shimei.
18 E os filhos de Kohath: Amram, e Ishar, e Hebron, e Uzziel.
The sons of Kohath were Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.
19 Os filhos de Merari: Maheli e Musi: estas são as famílias dos levitas, segundo seus pais.
The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to their fathers' houses.

28 E os filhos de Samuel: Vasni, seu primogênito, e o segundo Abias.

29 Os filhos de Merari: Maheli, seu filho Libni, seu filho Simei, seu filho Uzza,
The descendants of Merari: Mahli his son, Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzzah his son,
30 Seu filho Simea, seu filho Haggias, seu filho Asaias.

31 Estes são pois os que David constituiu para o ofício do canto na casa do Senhor, depois que a arca teve repouso.
These are they whom David set over the service of song in the house of Jehovah, after that the ark had rest.
32 E ministravam diante do tabernáculo da tenda da congregação com cantares, até que Salomão edificou a casa do Senhor em Jerusalém: e estiveram, segundo o seu costume, no seu ministério.
They ministered with song before the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting, until Solomon had built the house of Jehovah in Jerusalem: and they waited on their office according to their order.
33 Estes são pois os que ali estavam com seus filhos: dos filhos dos kohathitas, Heman, o cantor, filho de Joel, filho de Samuel,
These are those who waited, and their sons. Of the descendants of the Kohathites: Heman the singer, the son of Joel, the son of Samuel,

48 E seus irmãos, os levitas, foram postos para todo o ministério do tabernáculo da casa de Deus.
Their brothers the Levites were appointed for all the service of the tabernacle of the house of God.
49 E Aarão e seus filhos ofereceram sobre o altar do holocausto e sobre o altar do incenso, por toda a obra do lugar santíssimo, e para fazer expiação por Israel, conforme tudo quanto Moisés, servo de Deus, tinha ordenado.
But Aaron and his sons offered on the altar of burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, for all the work of the most holy place, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.
50 E estes foram os filhos de Aarão: seu filho Eleazar, seu filho Phinéas, seu filho Abisua,
These are the descendants of Aaron: Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,
51 Seu filho Bukki, seu filho Uzzi, seu filho Serahias,

52 Seu filho Meraioth, seu filho Amarias, seu filho Ahitub,

54 E estas foram as suas habitações, segundo os seus castelos, no seu termo, a saber: dos filhos de Aarão, da família dos kohathitas, porque neles caiu a sorte.
Now these are their dwelling places according to their encampments in their borders: to the descendants of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites (for theirs was the first lot),
55 Deram-lhes pois a Hebron, na terra de Judá, e os seus arrabaldes que a rodeiam.
to them they gave Hebron in the land of Judah, and its suburbs around it;
56 Porém o território da cidade e as suas aldeias deram a Caleb, filho de Jefoné.
but the fields of the city, and its villages, they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
57 E aos filhos de Aarão deram as cidades de refúgio: Hebron, e Libna e os seus arrabaldes, e Jattir, e Esthemo e os seus arrabaldes,
To the descendants of Aaron they gave the cities of refuge, Hebron; Libnah also with its suburbs, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa with its suburbs,
58 E Hilen e os seus arrabaldes, e Debir e os seus arrabaldes,
and Hilen with its suburbs, Debir with its suburbs,
59 E Asan e os seus arrabaldes, e Beth-semes e os seus arrabaldes.
and Ashan with its suburbs, and Juttah with its suburbs, and Beth Shemesh with its suburbs;
60 E da tribo de Benjamin, Geba e os seus arrabaldes, e Allemeth e os seus arrabaldes, e Anathoth e os seus arrabaldes: todas as suas cidades, pelas suas famílias, foram treze cidades.
and out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with its suburbs, Geba with its suburbs, and Allemeth with its suburbs, and Anathoth with its suburbs. All their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities.
61 Mas os filhos de Kohath, que restaram da família da tribo, da meia tribo, de meio Manassés, por sorte tiveram dez cidades.
To the rest of the descendants of Kohath were given by lot, out of the family of the tribe, out of the half-tribe, the half of Manasseh, ten cities.
62 E os filhos de Gersom, segundo as suas famílias, da tribo de Issacar, e da tribo de Aser, e da tribo de Naphtali, e da tribo de Manassés, em Basan, tiveram treze cidades.
To the descendants of Gershom, according to their families, out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.
63 Os filhos de Merari, segundo as suas famílias, da tribo de Ruben, e da tribo de Gad, e da tribo de Zebulon, por sorte, tiveram doze cidades.
To the descendants of Merari were given by lot, according to their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.
64 Assim deram os filhos de Israel aos levitas estas cidades e os seus arrabaldes.
The children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities with their suburbs.
65 E deram-lhes por sorte estas cidades, da tribo dos filhos de Judá, da tribo dos filhos de Simeão, e da tribo dos filhos de Benjamin, às quais deram os seus nomes.
They gave by lot out of the tribe of the descendants of Judah, and out of the tribe of the people of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the people of Benjamin, these cities which are mentioned by name.
66 E quanto ao mais das famílias dos filhos de Kohath, as cidades do seu termo se lhes deram da tribo de Ephraim.
Some of the families of the descendants of Kohath, of the Levites, even the rest of the descendants of Kohath, had cities of their borders out of the tribe of Ephraim.
67 Porque lhes deram as cidades de refúgio, Sichem e os seus arrabaldes, nas montanhas de Ephraim, como também Gezer e os seus arrabaldes.
They gave to them the cities of refuge, Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim with its suburbs; Gezer also with its suburbs,
68 E Jokmeam e os seus arrabaldes, e Beth-horon e os seus arrabaldes,
and Jokmeam with its suburbs, and Beth Horon with its suburbs,
69 E Aijalon e os seus arrabaldes, e Gath-rimmon e os seus arrabaldes.
and Aijalon with its suburbs, and Gath Rimmon with its suburbs;
70 E da meia tribo de Manassés, Aner e os seus arrabaldes, e Bileam e os seus arrabaldes: estas cidades tiveram os que ficaram da família dos filhos de Kohath.
and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Taanach with its suburbs, and Ibleam with its suburbs, for the rest of the family of the descendants of Kohath.
71 Os filhos de Gersom, da família da meia tribo de Manassés, tiveram a Golan, em Basan, e os seus arrabaldes, e Astharoth e os seus arrabaldes.
To the descendants of Gershom were given, out of the family of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan with its suburbs, and Ashtaroth with its suburbs;
72 E da tribo de Issacar, Kedes e os seus arrabaldes, e Dobrath e os seus arrabaldes,
and out of the tribe of Issachar, Kedesh with its suburbs, Daberath with its suburbs,
73 E Ramoth e os seus arrabaldes, e Anem e os seus arrabaldes.
and Ramoth with its suburbs, and Anem with its suburbs;
74 E da tribo de Aser, Masal e os seus arrabaldes, e Abdon e os seus arrabaldes,
and out of the tribe of Asher, Mashal with its suburbs, and Abdon with its suburbs,
75 E Hukok e os seus arrabaldes, e Rehob e os seus arrabaldes.
and Hukok with its suburbs, and Rehob with its suburbs;
76 E da tribo de Naphtali, Kedes, em Galiléia, e os seus arrabaldes, e Hammon e os seus arrabaldes, e Kiriathaim e os seus arrabaldes.
and out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with its suburbs, and Hammon with its suburbs, and Kiriathaim with its suburbs.
77 Os que ficaram dos filhos de Merari, da tribo de Zabulon, tiveram a Rimmon e os seus arrabaldes, a Tabor e os seus arrabaldes.
To the rest of the Levites, the descendants of Merari, were given, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam with its suburbs, Rimmon with its suburbs, and Tabor with its suburbs, and Nahalal with its suburbs.
78 E de além do Jordão, da banda de Jericó, ao oriente de Jordão, da tribo de Ruben, a Beser, no deserto, e os seus arrabaldes, e a Jassa e os seus arrabaldes,
And beyond the Jordan at Jericho, on the east side of the Jordan, were given them, out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wilderness with its suburbs, and Jahzah with its suburbs,
79 E a Kedmoth e os seus arrabaldes, e a Mephaath e os seus arrabaldes.
and Kedemoth with its suburbs, and Mephaath with its suburbs;
80 E da tribo de Gad, a Ramoth, em Gilead, e os seus arrabaldes, e a Mahanaim e os seus arrabaldes,
and out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with its suburbs, and Mahanaim with its suburbs,
81 E a Hesbon e os seus arrabaldes, e a Jazer e os seus arrabaldes.
and Heshbon with its suburbs, and Jazer with its suburbs.
