1 Crônicas 27

1 Estes são os filhos de Israel segundo o seu número, os chefes dos pais, e os capitães dos milhares e das centenas, com os seus oficiais, que serviam ao rei em todos os negócios das turmas entrando e saindo de mês em mes, em todos os meses do ano: cada turma de vinte e quatro mil.

Now the sons of Israel, according to their number, the leaders of the families, the tribunes, and the centurions, and the chiefs, who were ministering to the king by their companies, entering and departing in each month of the year as they were in charge, were twenty-four thousand.

2 Sobre a primeira turma do mês primeiro estava Jasobeam, filho de Zabdiel: e em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.

Jashobeam, the son of Zabdiel, was in charge of the first company in the first month; and under him were twenty-four thousand.

3 Era este dos filhos de Phares, chefe de todos os capitães dos exércitos, para o primeiro mês.

He was from the sons of Perez, and he was the leader of all the other leaders in the army, in the first month.

4 E sobre a turma do segundo mês era Dodai, o ahohita, com a sua turma, cujo chefe era Mikloth: também em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.

The company of the second month had Dodai, an Ahohite; and after him there was another, named Mikloth, who ruled over a portion of the army of the twenty-four thousand.

5 O terceiro capitão do exército do terceiro mês era Benaias, filho de Joiada, oficial maior e chefe: também em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.

Also, the commander of the third company, in the third month, was Benaiah, the son of Jehoiada the priest; and in his division there were twenty-four thousand.

6 Era este Benaias um varão entre os trinta, e sobre os trinta: e sobre a sua turma estava Ammizabad, seu filho.

The same is the Benaiah who was strongest among the thirty, and was above the thirty. But his son, Ammizabad, was in charge of his company.

7 O quarto do quarto mês Asael, irmão de Joab, e depois dele Zebadias, seu filho: também em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.

The fourth, for the fourth month, was Asahel, the brother of Joab, and his son Zebadiah after him; and in his company there were twenty-four thousand.

8 O quinto do quinto mês o maioral Samhuth, o israhita: também em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.

The fifth leader, for the fifth month, was Shamhuth, an Izrahite; and in his company there were twenty-four thousand.

9 O sexto do sexto mês Ira, filho de Ikkes, o tekoita: também em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.

The sixth, for the sixth month, was Ira, the son of Ikkesh, a Tekoite; and in his company there were twenty-four thousand.

10 O sétimo do sétimo mês Heles, o pelonita, dos filhos de Ephraim: também em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.

The seventh, for the seventh month, was Helez, a Pelonite from the sons of Ephraim; and in his company there were twenty-four thousand.

11 O oitavo do oitavo mês Sibbechai, o husathita, dos zarithas: também em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.

The eighth, for the eighth month, was Sibbecai, a Hushathite from the stock of the Zerahites; and in his company there were twenty-four thousand.

12 O nono do nono mês Abiezer, o anathotita, dos benjaminitas: também em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.

The ninth, for the ninth month, was Abiezer, an Anathothite from the sons of Benjamin; and in his company there were twenty-four thousand.

13 O décimo do décimo mês Maharai, o netophatita, dos zarithas: também em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.

The tenth, for the tenth month, was Maharai, and he was a Netophathite from the stock of the Zerahites; and in his company there were twenty-four thousand.

14 O undécimo do undécimo mês Benaia, o pirathonita, dos filhos de Ephraim: também em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.

The eleventh, for the eleventh month, was Benaiah, a Pirathonite from the sons of Ephraim; and in his company there were twenty-four thousand.

15 O duodécimo do duodécimo mês Heldia, o nethophatita, de Othniel: também em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.

The twelfth, for the twelfth month, was Heldai, a Netophathite from the stock of Othniel; and in his company there were twenty-four thousand.

16 Porém sobre as tribos de Israel eram estes: sobre os rubenitas era chefe Eliezer, filho de Zichri; sobre os simeonitas Sephatias, filho de Maaca;

Now those who were first over the tribes of Israel were these: over the Reubenites, Eliezer, the son of Zichri, was the ruler; over the Simeonites, Shephatiah, the son of Maacah, was the ruler;

17 Sobre os levitas Hasabias, filho de Kemuel; sobre os aaronitas Zadok;

over the Levites, Hashabiah, the son of Kemuel; over the Aaronites, Zadok;

18 Sobre Judá, Elihu, dos irmãos de David; sobre Issacar, Omri, filho de Michael;

over Judah, Elihu, the brother of David; over Issachar, Omri, the son of Michael;

19 Sobre Zebulon, Irmaias, filho de Obadias; sobre Naphtali, Jerimoth, filho de Azriel;

over the Zebulunites, Ishmaiah, the son of Obadiah; over the Naphtalites, Jeremoth, the son of Azriel;

20 Sobre os filhos de Ephraim, Hoseas, filho de Azazias; sobre a meia tribo de Manasseh Joel, filho de Pedaias;

over the sons of Ephraim, Hoshea, the son of Azaziah; over the one half tribe of Manasseh, Joel, the son of Pedaiah;

21 Sobre a outra meia tribo de Manasseh em Gilead, Iddo, filho de Zacarias; sobre Benjamin, Jaasiel, filho de Abner;

and over the one half tribe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo, the son of Zechariah; then over Benjamin, Jaasiel, the son of Abner;

22 Sobre Dan, Azarel, filho de Jeroham: estes eram os capitães das tribos de Israel.

yet truly, Azarel, the son of Jeroham, was over Dan. These were the leaders of the sons of Israel.

23 Não tomou porém David o número dos de vinte anos e daí para baixo, porquanto o Senhor tinha dito que havia de multiplicar a Israel como as estrelas do céu.

But David was not willing to number them from twenty years old and under. For the Lord had said that he would multiply Israel like the stars of heaven.

24 Joab, filho de Zeruia, tinha começado a numera-los, porém não acabou; porquanto viera por isso grande ira sobre Israel: pelo que o número se não pôs na conta das crônicas do rei David.

Joab, the son of Zeruiah, had begun to number, but he did not finish. For because of this, wrath had fallen upon Israel. And therefore the number of those who had been counted was not related in the official records of king David.

25 E sobre os tesouros do rei estava Azmaveth, filho de Adiel; e sobre os tesouros da terra, das cidades, e das aldeias, e das torres, Jonathan, filho de Uzias.

Now over the storerooms of the king was Azmaveth, the son of Adiel. But Jonathan, the son of Uzziah, was over those storerooms that were in the cities, and in the villages, and in the towers.

26 E sobre os que faziam a obra do campo, na lavoura da terra, Ezri, filho de Chelub.

And over the farmlands and the farmers, those who worked the ground, was Ezri, the son of Chelub.

27 E sobre as vinhas Simei, o ramathita: porém sobre o que das vides entrava nos tesouros do vinho Zabdi, o siphmita.

And over the cultivators of vineyards was Shimei, a Ramathite; then over the wine cellars was Zabdi, an Aphonite.

28 E sobre os olivais e figueiras bravas que havia nas campinas, Baal Hanan, o gederita: porém Joás sobre os tesouros do azeite.

Now over the olive groves and the fig groves, which were in the plains, was Baal-hanan, a Gederite; and over the oil cellars was Joash.

29 E sobre os gados que pasciam em Saron, Sitrai, o saronita: porém sobre os gados dos vales, Saphat, filho de Adlai.

Now over the herds that were pastured in Sharon, Shitrai, a Sharonite, was in the first place; and over the oxen in the valleys, there was Shaphat, the son of Adlai.

30 E sobre os camelos, Obil, o ishmaelita: e sobre as jumentas, Jehdias, o meronothita.

Truly, over the camels was Obil, an Ishmaelite; and over the donkeys was Jehdeiah, a Meronothite.

31 E sobre o gado miúdo, Jaziz, o hagarita: todos estes eram maiorais da fazenda que tinha o rei David.

And over the sheep was Jaziz, a Hagarene. All these were leaders over the substance of king David.

32 E Jonathan, tio de David, era do conselho, homem entendido, e também escriba: e Jehiel, filho de Hacmoni, estava com os filhos do rei.

Now Jonathan, the uncle of David, was a counselor, a prudent and scholarly man; he and Jehiel, the son of Hachmoni, were with the sons of the king.

33 E Achitophel era do conselho do rei: e Husai, o archita, amigo do rei.

Now Ahithophel was the counselor of the king; and Hushai, the Archite, was the king’s friend.

34 E depois de Achitophel, Joiada, filho de Benaias, e Abiathar; porém Joab era chefe do exército do rei.

After Ahithophel was Jehoiada, the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar. But the leader of the army of the king was Joab.
