Zacarias 9
1 Carga da palavra do Senhor contra a terra de Haldrach, e Damasco será o seu repouso; porque o Senhor tem o olho sobre o homem, como sobre todas as tribus de Israel.
The oracle of the word of Yahweh on the land of Hadrach, and, Damascus, shall be the resting-place thereof, —For, Yahweh, hath an eye—to mankind, and to all the tribes of Israel;
2 E tambem Hamath n'ella terá termo: Tyro e Sidon, ainda que seja mui sabia.
Moreover also, Hamath, adjoineth thereto, Tyre and Zidon, —because very wise;
3 E Tyro edificou para si fortalezas, e amontoou prata como o pó, e oiro fino como a lama das ruas.
Therefore did Tyre build a stronghold for herself, —and did heap up silver like dust, yea gold, like the mire of the lanes.
4 Eis que o Senhor a arrancará da posse, e ferirá no mar a sua força, e ella será consumida pelo fogo.
Lo! My Lord, shall dispossess her, and smite, into the sea, her fortress, —and, she herself, in fire, shall be consumed.
5 Ascalon o verá e temerá, tambem Gaza, e terá grande dôr; como tambem Ekron; porque a sua esperança será envergonhada; e o rei de Gaza perecerá, e Ascalon não será habitada
Ashkelon, shall see, and fear, Gaza, also, which shall writhe in great anguish, Ekron, also, because abashed is her expectation, —and the king, shall perish, from Gaza, and, Ashkelon, not be inhabited;
6 E um bastardo habitará em Asdod, e exterminarei a soberba dos philisteos.
And there shall be seated a half-breed in Ashdod, —So will I cut off the arrogance of the Philistines;
7 E da sua bocca tirarei o seu sangue, e d'entre os seus dentes as suas abominações; e elle tambem ficará de resto para o nosso Deus; e será como principe em Judah, e Ekron como o jebuseo.
And will take away his reeking prey out of his mouth, and his abominations, from between his teeth, but, he that is left, even he, shall belong to our God, —So shall he become as a chief in Judah, and, Ekron, as a Jebusite!
8 E me acamparei ao redor da minha casa, por causa do exercito, por causa do que passa, e por causa do que volta, para que não passe mais sobre elles o exactor; porque agora já o vi com os meus olhos.
Then will I encamp about my house—against an army, against him that passeth by, and against him that returneth, neither shall an exactor, tread them down any more, —for, now, have I seen with mine own eyes.
9 Alegra-te muito, ó filha de Sião; exulta, ó filha de Jerusalem: eis que o teu rei virá a ti, justo e Salvador, pobre, e montado sobre um jumento, sobre um asninho, filho de jumenta.
Exult greatly, O daughter of Zion, Shout in triumph, O daughter of Jerusalem, Lo! thy king, cometh unto thee, vindicated and victorious, is he, —lowly, and riding upon an ass, yea, upon a colt, a young ass.
10 E destruirei os carros de Ephraim e os cavallos de Jerusalem: tambem o arco de guerra será destruido, e elle fallará paz ás nações; e o seu dominio se estenderá de um mar até outro mar, e desde o rio até ás extremidades da terra
So will he cut off the chariot out of Ephraim, and the horse out of Jerusalem, and the war-bow, shall be cut off, So shall he speak peace to the nations, and, his dominion, shall be from sea to sea, and from the river [Euphrates] to the ends of the earth.
11 Quanto a ti tambem ó Sião, pelo sangue do teu concerto, soltei os teus presos da cova em que não havia agua.
As for thee also, —By the blood of thy covenant, have I sent forth thy prisoners out of a pit, wherein is no water.
12 Voltae á fortaleza ó presos de esperança: tambem hoje vos annuncio que vos renderei em dobro.
Return to the stronghold, ye prisoners of hope, —Even to-day, do I declare—Double, will I return to thee!
13 Quando estendi Judah para mim como um arco, e enchi com Ephraim o arco, suscitarei a teus filhos, ó Sião, contra os teus filhos, ó Grecia! e pôr-te-hei como a espada de um valente.
For I have bent for me—Judah, As a bow, have I grasped Ephraim, Thus will I rouse up thy sons, O Zion, against the sons of Greece, and will make thee as the sword of a mighty one.
14 E o Senhor será visto sobre elles, e as suas frechas sairão como o relampago; e o Senhor Jehovah tocará buzina, e irá com os redemoinhos do sul
But, Yahweh, over them, will appear, and forth shall go, as lightning, his arrow, —Yea, My Lord Yahweh, with a horn, will blow, and will move along in the whirlwinds of the south.
15 O Senhor dos Exercitos os amparará, e comerão, depois que os tiverem sujeitado as pedras da funda: tambem beberão e farão alvoroço como de vinho; e encher-se-hão como a bacia, como os cantos do altar
Yahweh of hosts, will throw a covering over them, so shall they eat, and trample underfoot sling-stones, and shall drink—shall shout as with wine, —and shall be filled like tossing-bowls, —like the corners of an altar.
16 E o Senhor seu Deus n'aquelle dia os salvará, como ao rebanho do seu povo; porque como as pedras da corôa serão levantados na sua terra, como bandeira.
So will Yahweh their God, save them, on that day. yea, as a flock of sheep, his people, —for [they shall be like] the jewels of a diadem sparkling over his land.
17 Porque, quão grande é a sua bondade! e quão grande é a sua formosura! o trigo fará fallar os mancebos e o mosto as donzellas.
For how excellent it is! Yea how beautiful! Corn, shall make the young men flourish, and new wine the maidens.
