Apocalipse 21
1 E vi um novo céu, e uma nova terra. Porque já o primeiro céu e a primeira terra passaram, e já não havia mar.
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away: and the sea was no more.
2 E eu, João, vi a sancta cidade, a nova Jerusalem, que de Deus descia do céu, adereçada como a esposa ataviada para o seu marido.
And I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven, from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 E ouvi uma grande voz do céu, que dizia: Eis aqui o tabernaculo de Deus com os homens, e com elles habitará, e elles serão o seu povo, e o mesmo Deus estará com elles, e será o seu Deus
And I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying: Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them: and they shall be his people, and God himself will be with them, their God.
4 E Deus alimpará de seus olhos toda a lagrima; e não haverá mais morte, nem pranto, nem clamor, nem dôr; porque já as primeiras coisas são passadas.
And he will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death; neither shall there be any more sorrow, nor crying, nor pain; for the former things have passed away.
5 E o que estava assentado sobre o throno disse: Eis que faço novas todas as coisas. E disse-me: Escreve: porque estas palavras são verdadeiras e fieis.
And he that sat upon the throne said: Behold, I make all things new. And he said to me: Write, for these words are true and faithful.
6 E disse-me: Está cumprido: Eu sou o Alpha e o Omega, o principio e o fim. A quem quer que tiver sêde, de graça lhe darei da fonte da agua da vida.
And he said to me: It is done; I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him that thirsts, I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 Quem vencer, herdará todas as coisas; e eu serei seu Deus, e elle será meu filho,
He that overcomes, shall inherit these things, and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
9 E veiu a mim um dos sete anjos que tinham as sete taças cheias das ultimas sete pragas, e fallou comigo, dizendo: Vem, mostrar-te-hei a esposa, a mulher do Cordeiro.
And there came one of the seven angels that had the seven cups full of the seven last plagues; and he talked with me, saying: Come hither, and I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.
10 E levou-me em espirito a um grande e alto monte, e mostrou-me a grande cidade, a sancta Jerusalem, que de Deus descia do céu.
And he carried me away in spirit to a mountain, great and high, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,
11 E tinha a gloria de Deus; e a sua luz era similhante a uma pedra preciosissima, como a pedra de jaspe, como o crystal resplandecente.
having the glory of God: that which gave it light was like a most costly stone, like jasper-stone, brilliant as crystal.
12 E tinha um grande e alto muro com doze portas, e nas portas doze anjos, e nomes escriptos sobre ellas, que são os nomes das doze tribus de Israel.
It had a wall, great and high; and it had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel;
13 Da banda do levante tinha tres portas, da banda do norte tres portas, da banda do sul tres portas, da banda do poente tres portas.
on the east, three gates; on the north, three gates; on the south, three gates; and on the west, three gates.
14 E o muro da cidade tinha doze fundamentos, e n'elles os nomes dos doze apostolos do Cordeiro.
And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 E aquelle que fallava comigo tinha uma canna de oiro, para medir a cidade, e as suas portas, e o seu muro.
And he that talked with me had a measure, a golden reed, that he might measure the city, and its gates, and its wall.
16 E a cidade estava situada em quadrado; e o seu comprimento era tanto quanto a sua largura. E mediu a cidade com a canna até doze mil estadios: e o seu comprimento, largura e altura eram eguaes.
And the city lies square: and its length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs: the length, and the breadth, and the hight of it are equal.
17 E mediu o seu muro, de cento e quarenta e quatro covados, medida de homem, que era a do anjo.
And he measured the wall of it, a hundred and forty-four cubits, the measure of a man, that is, of an angel.
18 E a fabrica do seu muro era de jaspe, e a cidade de oiro puro, similhante a vidro puro.
And the wall of it was built of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass.
19 E os fundamentos do muro da cidade estavam adornados de toda a pedra preciosa. O primeiro fundamento era jaspe; o segundo, saphira; o terceiro, chalcedonia; o quarto, esmeralda;
And the foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with every costly stone: the first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald;
20 O quinto, sardonica; o sexto, sardio; o setimo, crisolito; o oitavo, beryllo; o nono, topazio; o decimo, crysopraso; o undecimo, jacintho; o duodecimo, amethysta.
the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, crysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprase; the eleventh, hyacinth; the twelfth, amethyst.
21 E as doze portas eram doze perolas: cada uma das portas era uma perola, e a praça da cidade de oiro puro, como vidro transparente.
And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, like clear glass.
22 E n'ella não vi templo, porque o seu templo é o Senhor Deus Todo-poderoso, e o Cordeiro.
And I saw no temple in it: for the Lord God the Almighty, and the Lamb, are its temple.
23 E a cidade não necessita de sol nem de lua, para que n'ella resplandeçam, porque a gloria de Deus a tem alumiado, e o Cordeiro é a sua lampada.
And the city had no need of the sun, nor of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God gave it light, and the lamp of it is the Lamb.
24 E as nações que se salvarem andarão á sua luz; e os reis da terra trarão para ella a sua gloria e honra.
And the nations shall walk by the light of it; and the kings of the earth bring their glory and their honor into it.
25 E as suas portas não se fecharão de dia, porque ali não haverá noite.
And its gates shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
26 E a ella trarão a gloria e honra das nações.
And they shall bring the glory and honor of the nations into it.
27 E não entrará n'ella coisa alguma que contamine, e commetta abominação e mentira, mas só os que estão inscriptos no livro da vida do Cordeiro.
And there shall not enter it any thing unclean, or that does what is detestable, or that makes a lie: but those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
