Apocalipse 2
1 Escreve ao anjo da egreja que está em Epheso: Isto diz aquelle que tem na sua dextra as sete estrellas, que anda no meio dos sete castiçaes de oiro.
By the messenger of the congregation in Ephesus, write: These things, says he who holds the seven stars in his right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lamps:
2 Eu sei as tuas obras, e o teu trabalho, e a tua paciencia, e que não pódes soffrer os maus; e provaste os que dizem ser apostolos e o não são; e tu os achaste mentirosos.
I know your works, and your labor, and your pateince; and that you can not bear those who are evil: and you have tried those who say they are Apostles, and are not, and have found them liars;
3 E soffreste, e tens paciencia; e trabalhaste pelo meu nome, e não te cançaste.
and you have patience; and have borne for my name's sake, and have not fainted.
4 Porém tenho contra ti que deixaste a tua primeira caridade.
Nevertheless, I have against you that you have lost your first love.
5 Lembra-te pois d'onde decaiste, e arrepende-te, e pratica as primeiras obras; e, senão, brevemente a ti virei, e tirarei do seu logar o teu castiçal, se te não arrependeres.
Remember, therefore, from what you are fallen, and reform, and do the first works, otherwise I will come to you quickly, and take away your lamp out of its place, unless you reform.
6 Tens, porém, isto: que aborreces as obras dos nicolaitas, as quaes eu tambem aborreço.
Yet you have this, that you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
7 Quem tem ouvidos, ouça o que o Espirito diz ás egrejas: Ao que vencer, dar-lhe-hei a comer da arvore da vida, que está no meio do paraiso de Deus.
Whoever has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the congregations. To him who conquers, I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
8 E ao anjo da egreja que está em Smyrna, escreve: Isto diz o primeiro e o derradeiro, que foi morto, e reviveu:
And by the messenger of the congregation in Symrna, write: These things, says the First and the Last, who was dead, and is alive:
9 Eu sei as tuas obras, e tribulação, e pobreza ( porém tu és rico), e a blasphemia dos que se dizem judeos, e o não são, mas são a synagoga de Satanás.
I know your works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but you are rich, ) and I know the slander of those who say they are Jews, and are not; but are the assembly of Satan.
10 Nada temas das coisas que has de padecer. Eis que o diabo lançará alguns de vós na prisão, para que sejaes tentados; e tereis tribulação de dez dias. Sê fiel até á morte, e dar-te-hei a corôa da vida.
Fear none of the things which you shall suffer; behold, the devil will cast some of you into prison, that you may be tried; and you shall have tribulation ten days: be you faithful until death, and I will give you a crown of life.
11 Quem tem ouvidos, ouça o que o Espirito diz ás egrejas: O que vencer não receberá damno da segunda morte.
Whoever has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the congregations. The conqueror shall not be injured by the second death.
12 E ao anjo da egreja que está em Pergamo escreve: Isto diz aquelle que tem a espada aguda de dois fios:
And by the messenger of the congregation which is in Pergamos, write: These things says he who has the sharp two-edged sword:
13 Eu sei as tuas obras, e onde habitas, que é onde está o throno de Satanás; e retens o meu nome, e não negaste a minha fé, ainda nos dias de Antipas, minha fiel testemunha, o qual foi morto entre vós, onde Satanás habita
I know your works, and where you dwell; even where the throne of Satan is: and you hold fast my name, and have not denied my faith, even in those days in which Antipas was my faithful witness, who was slain among you, where Satan dwells.
14 Porém umas poucas de coisas tenho contra ti: que tens lá os que reteem a doutrina de Balaão, o qual ensinava Balac a lançar tropeços diante dos filhos de Israel, para que comessem dos sacrificios da idolatria e fornicassem.
Nevertheless, I have a few things against you, that you have there, them who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to cast a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit fornication.
15 Assim tens tambem os que reteem a doutrina dos nicolaitas: o que eu aborreço.
You, in like manner, have those that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which I hate.
16 Arrepende-te, e, senão, em breve virei a ti, e contra elles batalharei com a espada da minha bocca.
Reform, or otherwise, I will come to you quickly, and I will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
17 Quem tem ouvidos, ouça o que o Espirito diz ás egrejas: Ao que vencer darei eu a comer do manná escondido, e dar-lhe-hei um seixo branco, e um novo nome escripto no seixo, o qual ninguem conhece senão aquelle que o recebe.
Whoever has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the congregations: To the conqueror I will give of the hidden mann; and I will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knows except he who receives it.
18 E ao anjo da egreja em Thyatira, escreve: Isto diz o Filho de Deus, que tem seus olhos como chamma de fogo, e os pés similhantes ao latão reluzente:
And by the messenger of the congregation in Thyatira, write: These things says the Son of God, who has his eyes as a flame of fire, and his feet like fine brass:
19 Eu conheço as tuas obras, e caridade, e serviço, e fé, e a tua paciencia, e as tuas ultimas obras, e que as derradeiras são mais do que as primeiras.
I know your works, and love, and service, and faith, and your patience, and that your last works are more than the first.
20 Porém umas poucas de coisas tenho contra ti: que deixas a Jezabel, mulher que se diz prophetiza, ensinar e enganar os meus servos, para que forniquem e comam dos sacrificios da idolatria.
Nevertheless, I have against you, that you permit that woman Jezabel, who says that she is a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed to idols.
21 E dei-lhe tempo para que se arrependesse da sua fornicação; e não se arrependeu.
And I have given her time to reform from her fornication, and she reforms not.
22 Eis que a deito na cama, e aos que adulteram com ella, em grande tribulação, se não se arrependerem das suas obras.
Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and those who commit adultery with her, into great tribulation, unless they reform from their works;
23 E matarei de morte a seus filhos, e todas as egrejas saberão que eu sou aquelle que penetra os rins e os corações. E darei a cada um de vós segundo as vossas obras.
and I will say her children with death; and all the congregations shall know that I am he who search the reins and the heart; and I will give to every one of you according to your works.
24 Mas eu vos digo a vós, e aos demais que estão em Thyatira, a todos quantos não teem esta doutrina, e não conheceram, como dizem, as profundezas de Satanás, que outra carga vos não porei
But I say to you, even to the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not hold this doctrine, and who have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will lay upon you no other burden.
25 Porém o que tendes retende-o até que eu venha.
Nevertheless, what you have, hold fast till I come.
26 E ao que vencer, e guardar até ao fim as minhas obras, eu lhe darei poder sobre as nações,
And as for him that conquers, and keeps my works to the end, I will give him power over the nations:
27 E com vara de ferro as regerá: serão quebradas como vasos de oleiro, como tambem recebi de meu Pae.
and he shall rule them with a rod of iron, they shall be dashed in pieces like a potter's vessel: as I have also received of my Father.
28 E dar-lhe-hei a estrella da manhã.
And I will give him the morning star.
29 Quem tem ouvidos, ouça o que o Espirito diz ás egrejas.
Whoever has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the congregations.
