Salmos 82

1 Deus está na congregação dos poderosos; julga no meio dos deuses.

A Psalm of Asaph. God standeth in the assembly of God, he judgeth among the gods.

2 Até quando julgareis injustamente, e acceitareis as pessoas dos impios? (Selah)

How long will ye judge unrighteously, and accept the person of the wicked? (Selah)

3 Fazei justiça ao pobre e ao orphão: justificae o afflicto e necessitado.

Judge the poor and the fatherless, do justice to the afflicted and the destitute;

4 Livrae o pobre e o necessitado; tirae-os das mãos dos impios.

Rescue the poor and needy, deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.

5 Elles não conhecem, nem entendem; andam em trevas; todos os fundamentos da terra vacillam.

They know not, neither do they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are moved.

6 Eu disse: Vós sois deuses, e todos vós filhos do Altissimo.

I have said, Ye are gods, and all of you are children of the Most High;

7 Todavia morrereis como homens, e caireis como qualquer dos principes.

But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

8 Levanta-te, ó Deus, julga a terra, pois tu possues todas as nações.

Arise, O God, judge the earth; for thou shalt inherit all the nations.
