Salmos 80
1 Tu, que és pastor d'Israel, dá ouvidos: tu, que guias a José como a um rebanho: tu, que te assentas entre os cherubins, resplandece.
“For the leader of the music. Upon the Shushan-Eduth. A psalm of Asaph.” Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel! Thou who leadest Joseph like a flock, Thou who sittest between the cherubs, shine forth!
2 Perante Ephraim, Benjamin e Manasseh, desperta o teu poder, e vem salvar-nos.
Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up thy strength, And come and save us!
3 Faze-nos voltar, ó Deus, e faze resplandecer o teu rosto, e seremos salvos.
Bring us back, O God! And cause thy face to shine, that we may be saved!
4 Ó Senhor Deus dos Exercitos, até quando te indignarás contra a oração do teu povo
O LORD, God of hosts! How long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?
5 Tu os sustentas com pão de lagrimas, e lhes dás a beber lagrimas, com abundancia.
For thou causest them to eat the bread of tears, And givest them tears to drink, in full measure.
6 Tu nos pões em contendas com os nossos visinhos: e os nossos inimigos zombam de nós entre si.
Thou hast made us the object of strife to our neighbors, And our enemies hold us in derision.
7 Faze-nos voltar, ó Deus dos Exercitos, e faze resplandecer o teu rosto; e seremos salvos.
Bring us back, O God of hosts! And cause thy face to shine that we may be saved!
8 Trouxeste uma vinha do Egypto: lançaste fóra as nações, e a plantaste.
Thou didst bring a vine out of Egypt; Thou didst expel the nations, and plant it.
9 Preparaste-lhe logar, e fizeste com que ella deitasse raizes; e encheu a terra.
Thou didst prepare a place for it; It spread its roots, and filled the land.
10 Os montes foram cobertos da sua sombra, e os seus ramos se fizeram como os formosos cedros.
The mountains were covered with its shade, And its branches were like the cedars of God.
11 Ella estendeu a sua ramagem até ao mar, e os seus ramos até ao rio.
It sent out its boughs to the sea, And its branches to the river.
12 Porque quebraste então os seus vallados, de modo que todos os que passam por ella a vindimam?
Why hast thou now broken down its hedges, So that all who pass by do pluck from it?
13 O javali da selva a devasta, e as feras do campo a devoram.
The boar from the wood doth waste it, And the wild beast of the forest doth devour it.
14 Oh Deus dos Exercitos, volta-te, nós te rogamos, attende dos céus, e vê, e visita esta vide;
O God of hosts! return, we beseech thee, Look down from heaven, and behold, And have regard to this vine!
15 E a videira que a tua dextra plantou, e o sarmento que fortificaste para ti.
Protect what thy right hand planted; The branch which thou madest strong for thyself!
16 Está queimada pelo fogo, está cortada: pereceu pela reprehensão da tua face.
It is burnt with fire; it is cut down; Under thy rebuke they perish.
17 Seja a tua mão sobre o varão da tua dextra, sobre o filho do homem, que fortificaste para ti.
May thy hand be over the man of thy right hand, The man whom thou madest strong for thyself!
18 Assim nós não te viraremos as costas; guarda-nos em vida, e invocaremos o teu nome.
So will we no more turn back from thee: Revive us, and upon thy name alone will we call!
19 Faze-nos voltar, Senhor Deus dos Exercitos: faze resplandecer o teu rosto; e seremos salvos.
Bring us back, O LORD, God of hosts! And cause thy face to shine, that we may he saved!
