Salmos 68
1 Levante-se Deus, e sejam dissipados os seus inimigos; fugirão de diante d'elle os que o aborrecem.
To the Chief Musician. David’s. A Melody, a Song. Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered, Yea let them that hate him flee before him:
2 Como se impelle o fumo assim tu os impelles; assim como a cera se derrete diante do fogo, assim pereçam os impios diante de Deus.
As smoke is driven about, Let them be driven about, —As wax is melted before a fire, Let the lawless perish before God.
3 Mas alegrem-se os justos, e se regozijem na presença de Deus, e folguem d'alegria.
But let, the righteous, be glad, let them exult before God, Yea let them rejoice with gladness.
4 Cantae a Deus, cantae louvores ao seu nome; louvae aquelle que vae montado sobre os céus, pois o seu nome é Jah, e exultae diante d'elle.
Sing ye to God, Make music of his Name, —Lift up (a song), to him that rideth through the waste plains, —Since Yah is his name, exult ye before him.
5 Pae d'orphãos e juiz de viuvas é Deus, no seu logar sancto.
The father of the fatherless, And the advocate of widows, Is God, in his holy habitation.
6 Deus faz que o solitario viva em familia: liberta aquelles que estão presos em grilhões; mas os rebeldes habitam em terra secca.
God, is he that causeth the solitary to dwell in a home, That bringeth out prisoners into prosperity, But, the rebellious, have made their habitation in a sunburnt land.
7 Ó Deus, quando sahias diante do teu povo, quando caminhavas pelo deserto, (Selah)
O God! When thou camest forth before thy people, When thou didst stride through the wilderness, (Selah)
8 A terra se abalava, e os céus distillavam perante a face de Deus; até o proprio Sinai foi commovido na presença de Deus, do Deus de Israel.
Earth, trembled, Yea, the heavens, dripped at the presence of God, —This Sinai—at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
9 Tu, ó Deus, mandaste a chuva em abundancia, confortaste a tua herança, quando estava cançada.
A bounteous rain, dost thou shed abroad, O God, upon thine inheritance, When exhausted, thou thyself, hast supported it:
10 N'ella habitava o teu rebanho; tu, ó Deus, preparaste na tua bondade para o pobre.
Thy living host, have remained therein, Thou dost provide, in thy bounty, for the humbled ones—O God!
11 O Senhor deu a palavra: grande era o exercito dos que annunciavam as boas novas.
Let, My Lord, but give the word, The herald bands, will be a mighty host:
12 Reis de exercitos fugiram á pressa; e aquella que ficava em casa repartia os despojos.
Kings of armies, they flee! they flee! And, she that stayeth at home, shall share the spoil.
13 Ainda que vos tenhaes deitado entre panellas, comtudo sereis como as azas d'uma pomba, cobertas de prata, e as suas pennas d'oiro amarello.
Though ye rest between the folds, The wings of the dove, shall be covered with silver, And, her pinions, with green-shimmering gold.
14 Quando o Omnipotente ali espalhou os reis, ella ficou alva como a neve em Salmon.
When the Almighty scattereth kings therein, It will gleam like snow in the gloom:
15 O monte de Deus é como o monte de Basan, um monte elevado como o monte de Basan.
A mighty mountain, is the mountain of Bashan, A mountain of peaks, is the mountain of Bashan!—
16 Porque saltaes, ó montes elevados? este é o monte que Deus desejou para a sua habitação, e o Senhor habitará n'elle eternamente.
Wherefore start ye up, ye mountains, ye peaks? The mountain God hath coveted for his habitation, Surely, Yahweh will inhabit it ever!
17 Os carros de Deus são vinte milhares, milhares de milhares. O Senhor está entre elles, como em Sinai, no logar sancto.
The chariots of God, are two myriads—thousands repeated, My Lord, is among them Sinai, is in the sanctuary!
18 Tu subiste ao alto, levaste captivo o captiveiro, recebeste dons para os homens, e até para os rebeldes, para que o Senhor Deus habitasse entre elles.
Thou hast ascended on high, Thou hast led in procession a body of captives, Thou hast received gifts consisting of men, Yea even the rebellious, That, Yah, Elohim, might settle down to rest.
19 Bemdito seja o Senhor, que de dia em dia nos carrega de beneficios: o Deus que é a nossa salvação (Selah)
Blessed be My Lord! Day by day, he beareth our burden for us, GOD himself, is our salvation. (Selah)
20 Aquelle que é o nosso Deus é o Deus da salvação; e a Jehovah, o Senhor, pertencem as saidas da morte.
The GOD we have, is a GOD of saving deeds, And, due to Yahweh, My Lord, are escapes from death.
21 Mas Deus ferirá gravemente a cabeça de seus inimigos e o craneo cabelludo do que anda em suas culpas.
Yea, God himself, will smite through the head of his foes, —The hairy crown of him that is marching on in his guilty deeds.
22 Disse o Senhor: Eu os farei voltar de Basan, farei voltar o meu povo das profundezas do mar.
Said My Lord, From Bashan, will I bring back, —I will bring back from the depths of the sea:
23 Para que o teu pé mergulhe no sangue de teus inimigos, e no mesmo a lingua dos teus cães.
That thou mayest bathe thy foot in blood, —The tongue of thy dogs, from the foes, hath its portion.
24 Ó Deus, elles teem visto os teus caminhos; os caminhos do meu Deus, meu Rei, no sanctuario.
They have seen thy progress O God, The progress of my GOD, my king into the sanctuary:
25 Os cantores iam adiante, os tocadores de instrumentos atraz; entre elles as donzellas tocando adufes.
In front are the singers, Behind are the harpers, In the midst of damsels playing on timbrels:
26 Celebrae a Deus nas congregações; ao Senhor, desde a fonte d'Israel.
In the congregations, bless ye God, My Lord, from among the called of Israel:
27 Ali está o pequeno Benjamin, que domina sobre elles, os principes de Judah com o seu ajuntamento, os principes de Zabulon e os principes de Naphtali.
There, is Benjamin, the Diminutive—ruling them, The princes of Judah—their throng, The princes of Zebulun, The princes of Naphtali.
28 O teu Deus ordenou a tua força: fortalece, ó Deus, o que já obraste para nós.
Thy God hath commanded thy strength, —The strength, O God, which thou hast wrought for us.
29 Por amor do teu templo em Jerusalem, os reis te trarão presentes.
Because of thy temple above Jerusalem, Unto thee, shall kings bear along a gift—
30 Reprehende asperamente as feras das cannas, a multidão dos toiros, com os novilhos dos povos, até que cada um se submetta com pedaços de prata; dissipa os povos que desejam a guerra.
Rebuke thou, The wild beast of the reeds, The herd of mighty oxen among the calves of the peoples—Each one bowing down with bars of silver, —Scatter thou the peoples, who in wars take delight.
31 Embaixadores reaes virão do Egypto; a Ethiopia cedo estenderá para Deus as suas mãos.
Ambassadors come out of Egypt, The Ethiopian, eagerly stretcheth out his hands, unto God.
32 Reinos da terra, cantae a Deus, cantae louvores ao Senhor (Selah)
Ye kingdoms of the earth, sing unto God, Praise in song Adonay. (Selah)
33 Áquelle que vae montado sobre os céus dos céus, que existiam desde a antiguidade; eis que envia a sua voz, dá um brado vehemente.
Unto him that rideth upon the most ancient heavens, Lo! he uttereth his voice, a voice of strength.
34 Dae a Deus fortaleza: a sua excellencia está sobre Israel e a sua fortaleza nas mais altas nuvens.
Ascribe ye strength unto God, —Over Israel, is his majesty, And his strength, in the skies. To be revered is God, for his sanctuary, —
35 Ó Deus, tu és tremendo desde os teus sanctuarios: o Deus d'Israel é o que dá fortaleza e poder ao seu povo. Bemdito seja Deus!
As for the GOD of Israel, he, is giving strength and abundant might to the people. Blessed be God!
