Salmos 63
1 Ó Deus, tu és o meu Deus, de madrugada te buscarei: a minha alma tem sêde de ti; a minha carne te deseja muito em uma terra secca e cançada, onde não ha agua
A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Idumea. O God, my God, I cry to you early; my soul has thirsted for you: how often has my flesh [longed] after you, in a barren and trackless and dry land!
2 Para ver a tua fortaleza e a tua gloria, como te vi no sanctuario.
Thus have I appeared before you in the sanctuary, that I might see your power and your glory.
3 Porque a tua benignidade é melhor do que a vida; os meus labios te louvarão.
For your mercy is better than life: my lips shall praise you.
4 Assim eu te bemdirei emquanto viver: em teu nome levantarei as minhas mãos.
Thus will I bless you during my life: I will lift up my hands in your name.
5 A minha alma se fartará, como de tutano e de gordura; e a minha bocca te louvará com alegres labios,
Let my soul be filled as with marrow and fatness; and [my] joyful lips shall praise your name.
6 Quando me lembrar de ti na minha cama, e meditar em ti nas vigilias da noite.
Forasmuch as I have remembered you on my bed: in the early seasons I have meditated on you.
7 Porque tu tens sido o meu auxilio; portanto na sombra das tuas azas me regozijarei.
For you have been my helper, and in the shelter of your wings will I rejoice.
8 A minha alma te segue de perto: a tua dextra me sustenta.
My soul has kept very close behind you: your right hand has upheld me.
9 Mas aquelles que procuram a minha alma para a destruir, irão para as profundezas da terra.
But they vainly sought after my soul; they shall go into the lowest parts o the earth.
10 Cairão á espada, serão uma ração para as raposas.
They shall be delivered up to the power of the sword; they shall be portions for foxes.
11 Mas o rei se regozijará em Deus; qualquer que por elle jurar se gloriará; porque se taparão as boccas dos que fallam a mentira.
But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that swears by him shall be praised; for the mouth of them that speak unjust things has been stopped.
