Salmos 60
1 Ó Deus, tu nos rejeitaste, tu nos espalhaste, tu te indignaste; oh, volta-te para nós.

You have broken us down. You have been angry. Restore us, again.
2 Abalaste a terra, e a fendeste; sara as suas fendas, pois ella treme.
You have made the land tremble. You have torn it. Mend its fractures, for it quakes.
3 Fizeste ver ao teu povo coisas arduas; fizeste-nos beber o vinho da perturbação.
You have shown your people hard things. You have made us drink the wine that makes us stagger.
4 Déste um estandarte aos que te temem, para arvorarem no alto, por causa da verdade (Selah)
You have given a banner to those who fear you, that it may be displayed because of the truth. (Selah)
5 Para que os teus amados sejam livres, salva-nos com a tua dextra, e ouve-nos;
So that your beloved may be delivered, save with your right hand and answer me.
6 Deus fallou na sua sanctidade: Eu me regozijarei, repartirei a Sichem e medirei o valle de Succoth.
God has spoken from his sanctuary: "I will triumph. I will divide Shechem, and measure out the Valley of Succoth.
7 Meu é Galaad, e meu é Manasseh; Ephraim é a força da minha cabeça; Judah é o meu legislador.
Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine. Ephraim also is the defense of my head. Judah is my scepter.
8 Moab é o meu vaso de lavar; sobre Edom lançarei o meu sapato; alegra-te, ó Palestina, por minha causa.
Moab is my wash basin. I will throw my shoe on Edom. I shout in triumph over Philistia."
9 Quem me conduzirá á cidade forte? Quem me guiará até Edom?
Who will bring me into the strong city? Who will lead me to Edom?
10 Não serás tu, ó Deus, que nos tinhas rejeitado? tu, ó Deus, que não saiste com os nossos exercitos?
Haven't you, God, rejected us? You do not go out with our armies, God.
11 Dá-nos auxilio na angustia, porque vão é o soccorro do homem.
Give us help against the adversary, for the help of man is vain.
12 Em Deus faremos proezas; porque elle é que pisará os nossos inimigos.
Through God we shall do valiantly, for it is he who will tread down our adversaries.
