Salmos 46
1 Deus é o nosso refugio e fortaleza, soccorro bem presente na angustia.
To him that excelleth upon Alamoth a song committed to the sonnes of Korah. God is our hope and strength, and helpe in troubles, ready to be found.
2 Pelo que não temeremos, ainda que a terra se mude, e ainda que os montes se transportem para o meio dos mares.
Therefore will not we feare, though the earth be moued, and though the mountaines fall into the middes of the sea.
3 Ainda que as aguas rujam e se perturbem, ainda que os montes se abalem pela sua braveza (Selah)
Though the waters thereof rage and be troubled, and the mountaines shake at the surges of the same. (Selah)
4 Ha um rio cujas correntes alegram a cidade de Deus, o sanctuario das moradas do Altissimo.
Yet there is a Riuer, whose streames shall make glad the citie of God: euen the Sanctuarie of the Tabernacles of the most High.
5 Deus está no meio d'ella, não se abalará; Deus a ajudará ao romper da manhã.
God is in the middes of it: therefore shall it not be moued: God shall helpe it very earely.
6 As nações se embraveceram; os reinos se moveram; elle levantou a sua voz e a terra se derreteu.
When the nations raged, and the kingdomes were moued, God thundred, and the earth melted.
7 O Senhor dos Exercitos está comnosco: o Deus de Jacob é o nosso refugio (Selah)
The Lord of hostes is with vs: the God of Iaakob is our refuge. (Selah)
8 Vinde, contemplae as obras de Senhor; que desolações tem feito na terra!
Come, and behold the workes of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth.
9 Elle faz cessar as guerras até ao fim da terra: quebra o arco e corta a lança; queima os carros no fogo.
He maketh warres to cease vnto the endes of the world: he breaketh the bowe and cutteth the speare, and burneth the chariots with fire.
10 Aquietae-vos, e sabei que eu sou Deus; serei exaltado entre as nações; serei exaltado sobre a terra.
Be still and knowe that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, and I wil be exalted in the earth.
