Salmos 32
1 Bemaventurado aquelle cuja transgressão é perdoada, e cujo peccado é coberto.
David’s An Instructive Psalm. How happy is he whose transgression is forgiven! whose sin is pardoned!
2 Bemaventurado o homem a quem o Senhor não imputa maldade, e em cujo espirito não ha engano.
How happy the son of earth, to whom Yahweh will not reckon iniquity! and in whose spirit is no guile!
3 Quando eu guardei silencio, envelheceram os meus ossos pelo meu bramido em todo o dia.
When I kept silence, my bones became worn out, Through my groaning all the day;
4 Porque de dia e de noite a tua mão pesava sobre mim; o meu humor se tornou em sequidão de estio (Selah)
For, day and night, heavy upon me, was thy hand, —Changed was my life-sap into the drought of summer. (Selah)
5 Confessei-te o meu peccado, e a minha maldade não encobri; dizia eu: Confessarei ao Senhor as minhas transgressões; e tu perdoaste a maldade do meu peccado (Selah)
My sin, would I own unto thee, and, mine iniquity, not hide, I said, I will confess my transgressions unto Yahweh, And, thou, didst forgive the iniquity of my sin. (Selah)
6 Portanto todo aquelle que é sancto orará a ti, em tempo que te possa achar: até no trasbordar de muitas aguas, estas não lhe chegarão.
For this cause, will every man of lovingkindness pray unto thee, in time to obtain, —Surely, in the overflow of many waters, unto him, shall they not reach.
7 Tu és o logar em que me escondo, tu me preservas da angustia: tu me cinges d'alegres cantos de livramento (Selah)
Thou, art a hiding-place for me, From distress, wilt thou preserve me, —With shouts of deliverance, wilt thou compass me about. (Selah)
8 Instruir-te-hei, e ensinar-te-hei o caminho que deves seguir; guiar-te-hei com os meus olhos.
I will make thee discreet, I will point out to thee the way which thou must go, I will fix upon thee mine eye.
9 Não sejaes como o cavallo, nem como a mula, que não tem entendimento, cuja bocca precisa de cabresto e freio, para que se não cheguem a ti
Do not ye become like a horse, like a mule, without discernment, —With the bit and bridle of his mouth, [hast thou] to restrain him, —He will not come near unto thee.
10 O impio tem muitas dôres, mas áquelle que confia no Senhor a misericordia o cercará.
Many pains, hath the lawless one, —But, he that trusteth in Yahweh, Lovingkindness, shall compass him about.
11 Alegrae-vos no Senhor, e regozijae-vos, vós os justos; e cantae alegremente, todos vós que sois rectos de coração.
Rejoice in Yahweh and exult, O ye righteous, Yea, shout in triumph, all ye upright in heart!
