Salmos 29

1 Dae ao Senhor, ó filhos dos poderosos, dae ao Senhor gloria e força.

A Psalme of David. Give vnto the Lord, ye sonnes of the mightie: giue vnto the Lord glorie and strength.

2 Dae ao Senhor a gloria devida ao seu nome, adorae o Senhor na belleza da sanctidade.

Giue vnto the Lord glorie due vnto his Name: worship the Lord in the glorious Sanctuarie.

3 A voz do Senhor se ouve sobre as suas aguas; o Deus da gloria troveja; o Senhor está sobre as muitas aguas,

The voyce of the Lord is vpon the waters: the God of glorie maketh it to thunder: the Lord is vpon the great waters.

4 A voz do Senhor é poderosa; a voz do Senhor é cheia de magestade.

The voyce of the Lord is mightie: the voyce of the Lord is glorious.

5 A voz do Senhor quebra os cedros; sim, o Senhor quebra os cedros do Libano.

The voyce of the Lord breaketh the cedars: yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

6 Elle os faz saltar como um bezerro; ao Libano e Sirion, como novos unicornios.

He maketh them also to leape like a calfe: Lebanon also and Shirion like a yong vnicorne.

7 A voz do Senhor separa as labaredas do fogo.

The voice of the Lord deuideth the flames of sire.

8 A voz do Senhor faz tremer o deserto; o Senhor faz tremer o deserto de Kades.

The voice of the Lord maketh the wildernes to tremble: the Lord maketh the wildernes of Kadesh to tremble.

9 A voz do Senhor faz parir as cervas, e descobre as brenhas; e no seu templo cada um falla da sua gloria.

The voice of the Lord maketh the hindes to calue, and discouereth the forests: therefore in his Temple doth euery man speake of his glory.

10 O Senhor se assentou sobre o diluvio; o Senhor se assenta como Rei, perpetuamente.

The Lord sitteth vpon the flood, and the Lord doeth remaine King for euer.

11 O Senhor dará força ao seu povo; o Senhor abençoará o seu povo com paz

The Lord shall giue strength vnto his people: the Lord shall blesse his people with peace.
