Salmos 25
1 A ti, Senhor, levanto a minha alma.
Unto the end, a psalm for David. To thee, O Lord, have I lifted up my soul.
2 Deus meu, em ti confio, não me deixes confundido, nem que os meus inimigos triumphem sobre mim.
In thee, O my God, I put my trust; let me not be ashamed.
3 Como, na verdade, não serão confundidos os que esperam em ti; confundidos serão os que transgridem sem causa.
Neither let my enemies laugh at me: for none of them that wait on thee shall be confounded.
4 Faz-me saber os teus caminhos, Senhor; ensina-me as tuas veredas.
Let all them be confounded that act unjust things without cause. Shew, O Lord, thy ways to me, and teach me thy paths.
5 Guia-me na tua verdade, e ensina-me, pois tu és o Deus da minha salvação; por ti estou esperando todo o dia.
Direct me in thy truth, and teach me; for thou art God my Saviour; and on thee have I waited all the day long.
6 Lembra-te, Senhor, das tuas misericordias e das tuas benignidades, porque são desde a eternidade.
Remember, O Lord, thy bowels of compassion; and thy mercies that are from the beginning of the world.
7 Não te lembres dos peccados da minha mocidade, nem das minhas transgressões: mas segundo a tua misericordia, lembra-te de mim, por tua bondade, Senhor.
The sins of my youth and my ignorances do not remember. According to thy mercy remember thou me: for thy goodness’ sake, O Lord.
8 Bom e recto é o Senhor: pelo que ensinará o caminho aos peccadores.
The Lord is sweet and righteous: therefore he will give a law to sinners in the way.
9 Guiará os mansos em direitura: e aos mansos ensinará o seu caminho.
He will guide the mild in judgment: he will teach the meek his ways.
10 Todas as veredas do Senhor são misericordia e verdade para aquelles que guardam o seu concerto e os seus testemunhos.
All the ways of the Lord are mercy and truth, to them that seek after his covenant and his testimonies.
11 Por amor do teu nome, Senhor, perdoa a minha iniquidade, pois é grande.
For thy name’s sake, O Lord, thou wilt pardon my sin: for it is great.
12 Qual é o homem que teme ao Senhor? elle o ensinará no caminho que deve escolher.
Who is the man that feareth the Lord? He hath appointed him a law in the way he hath chosen.
13 A sua alma pousará no bem, e a sua semente herdará a terra.
His soul shall dwell in good things: and his seed shall inherit the land.
14 O segredo do Senhor é com aquelles que o temem; e elle lhes mostrará o seu concerto.
The Lord is a firmament to them that fear him: and his covenant shall be made manifest to them.
15 Os meus olhos estão continuamente no Senhor, pois elle tirará os meus pés da rede.
My eyes are ever towards the Lord: for he shall pluck my feet out of the snare.
16 Olha para mim, e tem piedade de mim, porque estou solitario e afflicto.
Look thou upon me, and have mercy on me; for I am alone and poor.
17 As ancias do meu coração se teem multiplicado: tira-me dos meus apertos.
The troubles of my heart are multiplied: deliver me from my necessities.
18 Olha para a minha afflicção e para a minha dôr, e perdoa todos os meus peccados.
See my abjection and my labour; and forgive me all my sins.
19 Olha para os meus inimigos, pois se vão multiplicando e me aborrecem com odio cruel.
Consider my enemies for they are multiplied, and have hated me with an unjust hatred.
20 Guarda a minha alma, e livra-me; não me deixes confundido, porquanto confio em ti.
Keep thou my soul, and deliver me: I shall not be ashamed, for I have hoped in thee.
21 Guardem-me a sinceridade e a direitura, porquanto espero em ti.
The innocent and the upright have adhered to me: because I have waited on thee.
22 Redime, ó Deus, a Israel de todas as suas angustias.
Deliver Israel, O God, from all his tribulations.
