Salmos 24

1 Do Senhor é a terra e a sua plenitude, o mundo e aquelles que n'elle habitam.

A Psalm of David. The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

2 Porque elle a fundou sobre os mares, e a firmou sobre os rios.

For He hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

3 Quem subirá ao monte do Senhor, ou quem estará no seu logar sancto?

Who shall ascend into the mountain of the LORD? and who shall stand in His holy place?

4 Aquelle que é limpo de mãos e puro de coração, que não entrega a sua alma á vaidade, nem jura enganosamente,

He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not taken My name in vain, and hath not sworn deceitfully.

5 Este receberá a benção do Senhor e a justiça do Deus da sua salvação.

He shall receive a blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

6 Esta é a geração d'aquelles que buscam, d'aquelles que buscam a tua face, ó Deus de Jacob (Selah)

Such is the generation of them that seek after Him, that seek Thy face, even Jacob. (Selah)

7 Levantae, ó portas, as vossas cabeças; levantae-vos ó entradas eternas, e entrará o Rei da Gloria.

Lift up your heads, O ye gates, and be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors; that the King of glory may come in.

8 Quem é este Rei da Gloria? O Senhor forte e poderoso, o Senhor poderoso na guerra.

'Who is the King of glory?' 'The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.'

9 Levantae, ó portas, as vossas cabeças, levantae-vos ó entradas eternas, e entrará o Rei da Gloria.

Lift up your heads, O ye gates, yea, lift them up, ye everlasting doors; that the King of glory may come in.

10 Quem é este Rei da Gloria? O Senhor dos Exercitos, elle é o Rei da Gloria (Selah)

'Who then is the King of glory?' 'The LORD of hosts; He is the King of glory.' (Selah)
