Salmos 149

1 Louvae ao Senhor. Cantae ao Senhor um cantico novo, e o seu louvor na congregação dos sanctos.

Praise ye Yah, Sing to Yahweh a song that is new, his praise in the convocation of the men of lovingkindness.

2 Alegre-se Israel n'aquelle que o fez, gozem-se os filhos de Sião no seu rei.

Let Israel rejoice in him that made him, Let the sons of Zion exult in their king;

3 Louvem o seu nome com flauta; cantem-lhe o seu louvor com adufe e harpa.

Let them praise his Name in the dance, with timbrel and lyre, Let them make music to him.

4 Porque o Senhor se agrada do seu povo; ornará os mansos com a salvação.

For Yahweh is taking pleasure in his people, He will beautify humbled ones with victory.

5 Exultem os sanctos na gloria, alegrem-se nas suas camas.

Let the men of lovingkindness exult as they glory, Let them shout aloud upon their beds:

6 Estejam na sua garganta os altos louvores de Deus, e espada de dois fios nas suas mãos,

The high songs of GOD be in their throat, and a two-edged sword in their hand:

7 Para tomarem vingança das nações, e darem reprehensões aos povos;

To execute an avenging among the nations, rebukes among the peoples:

8 Para aprisionarem os seus reis com cadeias, e os seus nobres com grilhões de ferro;

To bind their kings with fetters, and their honoured ones with iron bands:

9 Para fazerem n'elles o juizo escripto; esta será a gloria de todos os sanctos. Louvae ao Senhor.

To execute upon them the sentence written, An honour, shall it be to all his men of lovingkindness. Praise ye Yah!
