Salmos 143
1 Ó Senhor, ouve a minha oração, inclina os ouvidos ás minhas supplicas: escuta-me segundo a tua verdade, e segundo a tua justiça,
A Melody of David. O Yahweh, hear my prayer, Give ear to my supplications, In thy faithfulness, answer me, in thy righteousness.
2 E não entres em juizo com o teu servo, porque á tua vista não se achará justo nenhum vivente.
Do not then enter into judgment with thy servant, for no one living, can appear just before thee.
3 Pois o inimigo perseguiu a minha alma; atropellou-me até ao chão; fez-me habitar na escuridão, como aquelles que morreram ha muito.
For an enemy hath pursued my soul, hath crushed, to the earth, my life, hath made me dwell in dark places, like the ancient dead.
4 Pelo que o meu espirito se angustia em mim; e o meu coração em mim está desolado.
Therefore hath my spirit, fainted concerning myself, Within me, hath, my heart, been confounded.
5 Lembro-me dos dias antigos; considero todos os teus feitos; medito na obra das tuas mãos.
I have remembered the days of aforetime, I have talked with myself of every deed of thine, Of the work of thy hands, I would speak:
6 Estendo para ti as minhas mãos; a minha alma tem sêde de ti, como terra sedenta (Selah)
I have spread out my hands unto thee, My soul, is as a thirsty land, for thee. (Selah)
7 Ouve-me depressa, ó Senhor; o meu espirito desmaia; não escondas de mim a tua face, para que não seja similhante aos que descem á cova.
Speedily answer me, O Yahweh, My spirit faileth, —Do not hide thy face from me, or I shall be made like unto them who go down into the pit.
8 Faze-me ouvir a tua benignidade pela manhã, pois em ti confio; faze-me saber o caminho que devo seguir, porque a ti levanto a minha alma.
Let me hear, in the morning, thy lovingkindness, for, in thee, have, I trusted, —Let me know the way in which I should walk, for, unto thee, have I uplifted my soul.
9 Livra-me, ó Senhor, dos meus inimigos; fujo para ti, para me esconder.
Rescue me from my foes, O Yahweh, Unto thee, have I come seeking refuge.
10 Ensina-me a fazer a tua vontade, pois és o meu Deus: o teu Espirito é bom; guia-me por terra plana.
Teach me to do thy good pleasure, for, thou, art my God, —Thy spirit, is good, thou wilt set me down to rest in a level land.
11 Vivifica-me, ó Senhor, por amor do teu nome; por amor da tua justiça, tira a minha alma da angustia.
For the sake of thy Name, O Yahweh, wilt thou give unto me life, In thy righteousness, wilt thou bring forth, out of distress, my soul;
12 E por tua misericordia desarreiga os meus inimigos, e destroe a todos os que angustiam a minha alma: pois sou teu servo.
And, in thy lovingkindness, wilt thou exterminate my foes, —and destroy all the adversaries of my soul, because, I, am thy servant.
