Salmos 130

1 Das profundezas a ti clamo, ó Senhor.

Out of the depths I have cried to thee, O Lord:

2 Senhor, escuta a minha voz: sejam os teus ouvidos attentos á voz das minhas supplicas.

Lord, hear my voice. Let thy ears be attentive to the voice of my supplication.

3 Se tu, Senhor, observares as iniquidades, Senhor, quem subsistirá?

If thou, O Lord, wilt mark iniquities: Lord, who shall stand it.

4 Porém comtigo está o perdão, para que sejas temido.

For with thee there is merciful forgiveness: and by reason of thy law, I have waited for thee, O Lord. My soul hath relied on his word:

5 Aguardo ao Senhor; a minha alma o aguarda, e espero na sua palavra.

My soul hath hoped in the Lord.

6 A minha alma aguarda ao Senhor, mais do que os guardas pela manhã, mais do que aquelles que vigiam pela manhã.

From the morning watch even until night, let Israel hope in the Lord.

7 Espere Israel no Senhor, porque no Senhor ha misericordia, e n'elle ha abundante redempção.

Because with the Lord there is mercy: and with him plentiful redemption.

8 E elle remirá a Israel de todas as suas iniquidades.

And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
