Salmos 128

1 Bemaventurado aquelle que teme ao Senhor e anda nos seus caminhos.

Blessed is everyone who fears Adonai, who walks in his ways.

2 Pois comerás do trabalho das tuas mãos: feliz serás, e te irá bem

For you will eat the labor of your hands. You will be happy, and it will be well with you.

3 A tua mulher será como a videira fructifera aos lados da tua casa, os teus filhos como plantas de oliveira á roda da tua mesa.

Your wife will be as a fruitful vine, in the innermost parts of your house; your children like olive plants, around your table.

4 Eis que assim será abençoado o homem que teme ao Senhor.

Behold, thus is the man blessed who fears Adonai.

5 O Senhor te abençoará desde Sião, e tu verás os bens de Jerusalem em todos os dias da tua vida.

May Adonai bless you out of Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking], and may you see the good of Jerusalem [City of peace] all the days of your life.

6 E verás os filhos de teus filhos, e a paz sobre Israel.

Yes, may you see your children’s children. Peace be upon Israel [God prevails].
