Salmos 109
1 Ó Deus do meu louvor, não te cales,
For the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. O God of my praise, be not silent.
2 Pois a bocca do impio e a bocca do enganador estão abertas contra mim: teem fallado contra mim com uma lingua mentirosa.
For wicked and deceitful mouths open against me; they speak against me with lying tongues.
3 Elles me cercaram com palavras odiosas, e pelejaram contra mim sem causa.
They surround me with hateful words and attack me without cause.
4 Em recompensa do meu amor são meus adversarios: mas eu faço oração.
In return for my love they accuse me, but I am a man of prayer.
5 E me deram mal pelo bem, e odio pelo meu amor.
They repay me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
6 Põe sobre elle um impio, e Satanaz esteja á sua direita.
Set over him a wicked man; let an accuser stand at his right hand.
7 Quando fôr julgado, saia condemnado; e a sua oração se lhe torne em peccado.
When he is tried, let him be found guilty, and may his prayer be regarded as sin.
8 Sejam poucos os seus dias, e outro tome o seu officio.
May his days be few; may another take his position.
9 Sejam orphãos os seus filhos, e viuva sua mulher.
May his children be fatherless and his wife a widow.
10 Sejam vagabundos e pedintes os seus filhos, e busquem o pão dos seus logares desolados.
May his children wander as beggars, seeking sustenance far from their ruined homes.
11 Lance o credor a mão a tudo quanto tenha, e despojem os estranhos o seu trabalho.
May the creditor seize all he owns, and strangers plunder the fruits of his labor.
12 Não haja ninguem que se compadeça d'elle, nem haja quem favoreça os seus orphãos.
May there be no one to extend kindness to him, and no one to favor his fatherless children.
13 Desappareça a sua posteridade, o seu nome seja apagado na seguinte geração.
May his descendants be cut off; may their name be blotted out from the next generation.
14 Esteja na memoria do Senhor a iniquidade de seus paes, e não se apague o peccado de sua mãe.
May the iniquity of his fathers be remembered before the LORD, and the sin of his mother never be blotted out.
15 Antes estejam sempre perante o Senhor, para que faça desapparecer a sua memoria da terra.
May their sins always remain before the LORD, that He may cut off their memory from the earth.
16 Porquanto não se lembrou de fazer misericordia; antes perseguiu ao varão afflicto e ao necessitado, para que podesse até matar o quebrantado de coração.
For he never thought to show kindness, but pursued the poor and needy and brokenhearted, even to their death.
17 Visto que amou a maldição, ella lhe sobrevenha, e assim como não desejou a benção, ella se affaste d'elle.
The cursing that he loved, may it fall on him; the blessing in which he refused to delight, may it be far from him.
18 Assim como se vestiu de maldição, como d'um vestido, assim penetre ella nas suas entranhas como agua, e em seus ossos como azeite.
The cursing that he wore like a coat, may it soak into his body like water, and into his bones like oil.
19 Seja para elle como o vestido que o cobre, e como cinto que o cinja sempre.
May it be like a robe wrapped about him, like a belt tied forever around him.
20 Seja este o galardão dos meus contrarios, da parte do Senhor, e dos que fallam mal contra a minha alma.
May this be the LORD’s reward to my accusers, to those who speak evil against me.
21 Mas tu, Deus Senhor, trata comigo por amor do teu nome, porque a tua misericordia é boa; livra-me,
But You, O GOD, the Lord, deal kindly with me for the sake of Your name; deliver me by the goodness of Your loving devotion.
22 Pois estou afflicto e necessitado, e o meu coração está ferido dentro de mim.
For I am poor and needy; my heart is wounded within me.
23 Vou-me como a sombra que declina; sou sacudido como o gafanhoto.
I am fading away like a lengthening shadow; I am shaken off like a locust.
24 De jejuar estão enfraquecidos os meus joelhos, e a minha carne emmagrece.
My knees are weak from fasting, and my body grows lean and gaunt.
25 E ainda lhes sou opprobrio; quando me contemplam, movem as cabeças.
I am an object of scorn to my accusers; when they see me, they shake their heads.
26 Ajuda-me, Senhor Deus meu, salva-me segundo a tua misericordia.
Help me, O LORD my God; save me according to Your loving devotion.
27 Para que saibam que esta é a tua mão, e que tu, Senhor, o fizeste.
Let them know that this is Your hand, that You, O LORD, have done it.
28 Amaldiçoem elles, mas abençoa tu: quando se levantarem fiquem confundidos; e alegre-se o teu servo.
Though they curse, You will bless. When they rise up, they will be put to shame, but Your servant will rejoice.
29 Vistam-se os meus adversarios de vergonha, e cubram-se com a sua propria confusão como com uma capa.
May my accusers be clothed with disgrace; may they wear their shame like a robe.
30 Louvarei grandemente ao Senhor com a minha bocca: louval-o-hei entre a multidão.
With my mouth I will thank the LORD profusely; I will praise Him in the presence of many.
31 Pois se porá á mão direita do pobre, para o livrar dos que condemnam a sua alma.
For He stands at the right hand of the needy one, to save him from the condemners of his soul.
