Salmos 101

1 Cantarei a misericordia e o juizo: a ti, Senhor, cantarei.

A Psalm by David. I will sing of loving kindness and justice. To you, LORD, I will sing praises.

2 Portar me-hei com intelligencia no caminho recto. Quando virás a mim? Andarei em minha casa com um coração sincero.

I will be careful to live a blameless life. When will you come to me? I will walk within my house with a blameless heart.

3 Não porei coisa má diante dos meus olhos: aborreço a obra d'aquelles que se desviam; não se me pegará a mim.

I will set no vile thing before my eyes. I hate the deeds of faithless men. They will not cling to me.

4 Um coração perverso se apartará de mim: não conhecerei o homem mau

A perverse heart will be far from me. I will have nothing to do with evil.

5 Aquelle que murmura do seu proximo ás escondidas, eu o destruirei: aquelle que tem olhar altivo, e coração soberbo, não soffrerei.

I will silence whoever secretly slanders his neighbor. I will not tolerate one who is arrogant and conceited.

6 Os meus olhos estarão sobre os fieis da terra, para que se assentem comigo: o que anda n'um caminho recto esse me servirá.

My eyes will be on the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me. He who walks in a perfect way, he will serve me.

7 O que usa de engano não ficará dentro da minha casa: o que falla mentiras não está firme perante os meus olhos.

He who practices deceit will not dwell within my house. He who speaks falsehood will not be established before my eyes.

8 Pela manhã destruirei todos os impios da terra, para desarreigar da cidade do Senhor todos os que obram a iniquidade.

Morning by morning, I will destroy all the wicked of the land, to cut off all the workers of iniquity from the LORD’s city.
